Unless you actually live in Pinson and environs, this place is waaaay the hell out. Arguably the most remote large thrift store in greater B'ham. But, of course, that's part of the charm.
They've always got some special item up front, like a nineteenth-century upright piano, or an art deco chifferobe, etc., with a jaw-dropping price attached. Apart from that, though, there are deals to be had. Bigger furniture selection than you see at many secondhand stores. I've also found great stuff for my baby boy in the toy section, such as like-new Fisher Price electronic push walkers for two bucks. Customer service here is always great.
This place may be a long haul but it's worth it. read more
