I've used this company on occasion over the past few years for various laundry, alteration, and drycleaning services. The location is convenient, in a strip mall right off East Dunne, and you can do dropoff or pickup in under five minutes easily. The woman who usually works the front counter is super nice and finds my orders quickly. My laundry always turns out clean as the day I bought it, even having impossible stains like cat puke on a wool blanket or red wine removed. Supposedly all of their cleaning is done on-site which means less opportunity for things to get misplaced. They can be a little slow sometimes but that's the price you pay for a thorough job, I suppose. They hemmed a maxi dress for me once when I was short on time. I'm a bit of a seamstress myself, and I noticed the thread they used was cheap and there were skipped stitches in the hem. Most people probably wouldn't notice, but I could have done a better job myself for free. Overall a solid option for laundry and drycleaning in Morgan Hill, just maybe look elsewhere for alterations. read more

Ive been trying my best to find a good dry cleaners for my suits. So I've been taking 2 suits to each place I visit to see who does it the best at a reasonable price. Unfortunately for 2 of my suits that they cleaned, they smell like dirty water and the smell is just lingering. I'm hoping to have another place remove the smell. My uncle took in 11 men's button-down shirts expecting to pay the usual price of a little over $3.00, had them cleaned, picked them up and was charged $82.50, or $7.50 a shirt! What the heck! He's been a loyal customer for at least 3 years! An increase in price should be posted, as a courtesy, at least, that is ridiculous! When he asked, " What the heck!" The lady responded that the shirts were very dirty. He's retired, kicks around the house, and is a very clean person. This was highway robbery !!! I have brought my dry cleaning here for a few years and have had no problems. HOWEVER, I brought a brown comfortor to be cleaned and a small tear to be fixed. This tear could not be fixed on a sewing machine, so I knew it would not look perfect.....what I objected to was USING WHITE THREAD TO MEND A BROWN COMFORTOR!! This is not rocket science. To me it shows 2 things 1) Laziness and no concern for quality and 2) it was a winter comfortor so they probably didn't expect me to see it until next winter. I now I question the dry cleaning and will not bring my business there any more. read more

She had a lot of attitude yelling at me to pay for a shirt even though she lost one of my shirts and tried to tell me I already picked it up (lie). She did not offer compensation for my lost shirt. I job requires me to have a clean pressed uniform and the uniforms need to be dry cleaned. I have been a customer of King's Cleaners for about three years. I drop off and pick up my uniforms on a weekly basis. I have never had any issues with my uniforms and when I've asked for anything special, like patching a hole or replacing a button they have been quick to get it fixed. My uniforms have always been completed on time and are pressed to my standards. The owners are always pleasant and we're quick to get to know me when I first started going there. I have been going to Cindy and Chris since 2000...wow 15 years. They have always got it right. I get all of my clothes dry cleaned: tommy bahama shirts to custom made suits. I'm a professional spotter...hey I spot all of my shirts with food and wine. They seem to relish in the challenge of my clothing. I always receive my shirts back without any stains or spots. I have invested in a wardrobe that requires special handling on many items and they are always sure to do it with care. If I need a button sewed on...boom! If I need a shirt the next day...boom! If I need a simple alteration....boom. They are fantastic. My wife is very picky and she sends all of her clothes here. Very thoughtful and kind customer service and the Dry cleaning is always perfect.. I've been going to them with tons of dry cleaning for a couple years and it's always been very good.. I have even been called by them to make sure I didn't forget pick up, because I had shared with them a few days prior that I needed to have my items for a special event or I would be in big trouble.. they also waited for me almost 20 min so I can do my pick up on Saturday.. Have to agree with all of the other reviews here. I took several shirts to this cleaner only to find that many of the buttons had been split into pieces. I had one very nice dress shirt that I only have dry cleaned. 4 of the buttons were destroyed in the process. This hasn't happened just once, but consistently, on most shirts that I have had dry cleaned by them. Never going back. Hope you don't make this mistake as well. read more

I have lived in Morgan Hill for forty two years and only have used two dry cleaners. I decided to try Kings Dry cleaning since the business is close to my home now. I took them two old beat up 100 percent Cashmere sweaters. I was so surprised to find that the sweaters looked perfect, no fuzz balls. Just perfectly soft Cashmere. Then I took them a hand sown silk kimono . The care that Kings gave to my Kimono was outstanding. I gave it to my daughter for her birthday. She loved it. I am going to pick up my white satin Giants bomber jacket tomorrow and I know that it will look beautiful an ready for me to wear to the games this season. I dropped off 10 pieces of clothing there because I had a lot of stains on them and when I told them my problem they told me that they can help me get rid of them so I dropped them off and waited at least 3 to 4 days and when I went back my stains were all gone. My shirt seems to look all brand new!! I am so happy that I found this store and I am thankful for all there hospitality that they have given me. I am defiantly going back!!! read more

I've used this cleaner a number of times now and I have had no issues. They are friendly, everything is computerized and everything I've taken in has been ready on time or earlier. I also know a few people that use this cleaner and have no issues. I came on yelp to find the store hours and I was disappointed to see all the negative reviews (after using they're services). I recently dropped off riding chaps and a show shirt and I am amazed at how well the leather chaps came out. I find that most people only write negative reviews so I wanted to take the time to write something positive. I will continue to use this cleaner and recommend it! read more

I go to King's because I was referred here from a friend who loved the place. I have gone here since I moved here 1.5 years ago. I am very happy with it. The owners are friendly, they recognize me whenever I come in, and regularly rush my clothes. I looked them up on yelp to look at their hours, and was disappointed with some of the reviews having had nothing but positive experiences myself, so I had to write a positive review. I will never go back to this place! When picking up my clothes! They tried to give me somebody else's shirt. I had to tell them that it was not mine, and one of my shirts was missing. They found my shirt in the back and then proceeded to tell me that they did not clean it because of a very large stain on the front of the shirt. I told them that the stain was NOT there when I brought it in (it definitely was not there). Again, the lady said that they had not cleaned it yet but they would try and wanted me to come back on Friday (this was on a Tuesday!). She kept on trying to ignore their responsibility and tried to say that the stain was there when I brought it in. I came back on Friday and the lady said that they got most of it out and kept acting like she did me a favor. I told her again that the stain was not there when I first brought it in. She then told me that I must have left something in the shirt pocket that ran when they first cleaned it. Wait a minute! I thought that they hadn't cleaned it the first time! She had lied to me! So, it was clear that they cleaned it the first time, it got stained somehow, and then they wrinkled the shirt, put it in the back, and pretended like they did into clean it and blamed me for the stain. The lady is a liar and a crook and I will never go back. I hope people read this and stay away from this place. Beware! read more

I have to say that I am surprised by the bad reviews here as I have had nothing but good experiences. I have not had anything altered here, so I don't know about that and have had no problems with the buttons on my husbands shirts and we get a lot of them cleaned. The people here know me on sight and I don't even need my receipt. I had knee surgery some months ago and didn't ask for help, but they came out to my car, picked up my shirts and when I went to pick them up, they put them in my car without my asking. I've been going to this cleaner simply of convenience. It was better than a few others I've tried in Morgan Hill. However, after going to them for a year they have lost my business. I've had my husbands expensive (Ted Baker & Hugo Boss) dress shirts missing and replaced by someone else's cheap Kohls shirts, only giving me a $10 discount for the mistake. In preparing for a friends wedding, I found my husbands white NEW (Ted Baker) dress shirt (after they lost the first) with stains on the collar and shoulders. In a panic, we had to find another shirt for him to wear an hour before the wedding. Unnecessary stress if the cleaners would be more aware! I understand things happen, which is why I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. But the last straw was when my husband walked in to pick up his shirts and they only gave him 3 when I specifically told my husband to pick up 4 shirts. 25minutes later the cleaners call my husband saying they found the 4th shirt. I brought pants to King's Cleaners in Morgan Hill to be altered. They were supposed to be ready Thurs, Sept 2 at 5 pm. When I went the pants were not there and was told that the pant would be there friday by 5. We went back on friday and they said that they cant find then and that we had to buy a new pair of pants, but they would not be able to alter them by Saturday (for my wedding). They said that they would reimburse us the full amount for the pants and when we brought the receipt to them. We were told that we spent too much on the pants and that they would only reimburse 50% back to us. NEVER GO HERE for anything.... read more

Worst customer service, ever. I will never go here again. First time I used the store, the female clerk was too busy yapping on the phone to understand that I needed some alterations on my pants - not just dry cleaning. After I spoke up, she finally got the idea and hung up. I told her clearly that I needed the pants in five days time and she said that would be no problem. When I came back five days later, the pants weren't complete. They asked me to come back later that day. When I returned, the pants were altered but not cleaned. They made excuses about their service but I can no longer trust them after this experience. They're also much more expensive that other stores. Well they were my dry cleaner also. Until they lost 2 pairs of pants and consistantly ripped the buttons off my shirts. We tried to tell them about the ripping of buttons off the shirts (in some cases the first time a brand new shirt was cleaned!) The response from them was "we don't do that, are you sure it was this dry cleaner?" seriously - I know where my clothes are cleaned. Anyway, we never got the 2 pairs of pants back and have had to replace several shirts. We are now using Green Cleaners and have been very happy with them! read more

I used this dry cleaner for a period of 9 months or so when I first moved to Morgan Hill, after they lost 2 of the garments I turned into to be cleaned, I decided not to return. In both cases they did offer me discounts off future cleaning to accomodate the loss, but in neither case was the amount they offerred me equivalent to replacement value. read more

This is the worst customer service and experience with dry cleaning iv ever had. I just moved to the area from san jose and had to find a new dry cleaners. I brought my department uniform shirt there that i recently bought which cost about $80.00, It needed a military press and cleaning. I picked up the shirt the next day. First, the shop lost the pants of the woman in front of me (i should of taken that as a warning) second, i was a little shocked by the price being $6.00 for a single shirt. But none the less i grabbed the uniform and took off. The next day while getting ready for work i took the uniform out of the bag and on the back was what appeared to be a bleach/or stain. I called the shop and asked to meet with the manager. The manager told me to meet him at 12:00pm. I showed up at 12:00pm and he was not there. I was told to come back after five that day and that the owner would call me. At about 4:00pm i talked with the owner. The owner was rude, inconsiderate, and yelling at me while talking to her on the phone she proceeded to inform me that she was not going to fix the problem, that it was not their fault and that I don't have to come back. So they ruined a shirt and brushed it off and were not willing to accept responsibility and/or attempt to fix the problem. HORIBLE!!!!! read more

I would NEVER go to this cleaners again. I tried them a number of months ago because it is convenient to my house. First they ruined two buttons on a very expensive shirt. They often do not have things done when they say they are going to be done. Especially alterations. About two weeks ago, they gave me a shirt which was not mine. After I got my stuff home, I realized it and brought it back the next day. Today, they refused to give me MY pants until I brought back the pants they CLAIMED they gave me, which they did not, asserting that a mix-up had occurred again. I did not have the pants and never got them. The woman ARGUED WITH ME AND DEMANDED THAT I GO CHECK MY CLOSET AGAIN! I had already checked it twice. I had to go down personally and demand that they give me back my pants. She still wasn't going to give them back to me. UNBELIEVABLE! I would never patronize this place again. EVER! read more

Do not take anything to this cleaner. I had a couple of very old, handmade, irreplaceable items that I took down to see if they should be professionally cleaned. I repeatedly told the woman the age od the items, the importance, and stressed that if in her professional opinion they shouldn't be cleaned, to please advise me so. Fortunately, one item she said should not be cleaned (thank god) but she assured me the other would be fine and they could handle it. When I picked it up all of the colors had run out of it and stained the part that was white!! I immediately teared up and demanded to know what happened. She told me the fabric was too old and they were not able to prevent fabric that old and delicate from running!!! I reminded her that I specifically asked about the age of the fabric and whether it was able to be cleaned and she basically said it wasn't their fault. I refused to pay and she just kept saying how it wasn't their fault. As I left in tears I could see her smiling through my car window. These people don't care if they ruin your stuff-STAY AWAY. read more
