Very large hall, very clean and quiet (besides the whispers of players and the soothing clear voice of the number caller). They also have a glass room for indoor smokers to play, which I didn't even notice until halfway through the session because there was no cigarette/cigar smell inside. All the employees are super friendly and helpful, and patient with all of our questions while we figured out how to play. The games are well paced so you're not rushing, and the winnings are very high (you can win amounts like $250-$750 a game). They also give first time customers a free dobber, which is an awesome surprise. My mom won $250 on the door raffle! Confusing and a waste of time. The same people won money every time with something called pull tabs that weren't explained. There's a lot of waiting between each bingo game because they call numbers for optional side games that cost even more money. They call numbers too fast to use paper and stamper markers, and paper is more expensive than the computer, so you're basically forced to use their computers, and you just sit there for 3 hours looking at a screen. I am thankful to find a bingo that I can go to and not come home smelling like a 1995 night club. The smokers have a large enclosed area in the back of the hall. This layout makes a lot more sense since there is no need to visit the common areas which are usually open to the smoking section. This bingo hall looks updated with comfortable chairs, bright (working) monitors and a massive snack section. There were plenty of friendly floor attendants walking around to offer help or sell extra side games such as pull tabs. Haven't quite got the hang of those yet but man, they are popular! The bingo caller speaks very clearly and is great at explaining the games and rules. They have really great customer appreciation nights and raffle nights to show their gratitude for your business. There are also some nights that offer three session games instead of the usual two. King's Bingo will now be my go-to when I'm feeling lucky. read more

Tried this place for the first time tonight. They offer paper cards, computers or both. Price is pretty reasonable for the most part. I paid $20 for a total of two sessions (12 games) on paper, but ALL winners tonight won off computers which seemed rigged to me. Don't think I will be returning.. read more

My biggest complaint is the machines. The machines change the odds of playing bingo on paper that takes the fun out of playing bingo. Most of the bingos's won are from machines, it forces you to purchase a machine or two and spend more money. Please have one or two sessions with paper only, no machines. read more

I feel like at 28 years old I shouldn't love a bingo hall as much as I love this place. The staff are super nice, there's lots of space, and it's always a fun time. The food is also good so that's a big plus! TIP: You can't bring your own food and drinks but they do have a solid concession stand and some beer/wine available. Be aware that the folks who come here take their bingo seriously so you'll need to talk below conversation level and there's no booing when folks win or oooo-ing when O69 is called. This also means you won't have belligerent drunk people making things suck which is a plus. This isn't like bingo in the heights so recalibrate your expectations if you come here. This place was fun! We went today as newcomers and all the staff were extremely friendly and took the time to explain everything in its entirety. They even came to us at the table to check on us which was great! They had smokers in a separate room, but every time someone opened that door the smell would come straight for us and it was hard to breathe. Needless to say, my clothes and hair smell like smoke when we left. Also, $3.50 for a Diet Coke was pretty steep! And the cup was tiny which was a bummer. They allow for free refills, but with the place being so big and not much time to leave your cards, you can't really get one. Now that we know what we are doing we will definitely return! read more

Very disappointed to see a child sitting in the smoking section with his mother and there are no rules in place to protect the health and safety of an innocent child. Not sure if I will return. King's Bingo is just down the street from my house, so I enjoy going there from time to time. I've probably been to King's 10 times, and I've yet to have an unpleasant experience. Unfortunately, I have had about the same luck with the paper cards as some of the other reviewers. It seems like the majority of the time people win from computers and not the cards. The computers are a little too pricey for my liking, so I've only played with paper cards. I have never won, but I have come close several times. Nonetheless, the whole experience is always fun! THE SNACKS ARE AWESOME! They have all the junk food that you could ever ask for. Funnel cakes, pretzels, cotton candy, popcorn, ice cream, etc. They even serve beer and wine! Beware, the concession stand is CASH ONLY. Make sure you have cash if you are planning to snack while you play. Also, keep in mind, they do not always have all the snacks on the menu available. I've gone twice, the place is large and clean. As you come in the door there is a concession stand that serves generic fried items and a one size soda for $3.50 w/refills. The cup is about 14 oz. They don't allow outside food and drink however there is beer available. Food looked ok, but it is extremely slow getting out. They have a smoking section partitioned by glass windows and door so you can see the other players. It's quite big and very clean. They offer the pulls, computers and traditional cards, my only gripe is NO ONE at the card counter has a sense of urgency, so you can be in a line very deep and the game is about to begin and they move the same slow. It's maddening. I would make an executive call and take those stools away from counter. They seem to be glued there. The staff is helpful and very nice, there is a security cofficer there and in parking lot. There didn't seem to be any suspects hanging out. Prices are good, you can call and get all the particulars. They take the taxes off top of winnings. They allow kids to play also. If gambling is a vice you can make it a family affair :-) Good luck. read more

I have been to Kings bingo a handful of times. The best thing about the place is definitely the snack bar. I have been at off peak times and recently went to their customer appreciation Saturday. They had a least 40 door prizes, they also had a $15k raffle for $75. Sounds great right! It was the longest boring day. I spent $175 for the day, and I could have spent a lot more. I did not win, but that is to be expected. Bingo odds are terrible, especially when you have a house full of people. I was there for the $15k raffle. They had 8 prizes for the raffle from $500 to $15k. You had to get there at 2:30 when the doors open, to get a seat. The lines were endless just to get started. I finally played my first bingo game at 5:30. I left at 11:30 because they saved the 15k raffle and 16 of the door prizes for the very end. I really don't blame them for holding them to the end. However, they made the day an endless boring, frustrating, headache producing day. Here was my problem with how they handled the day. The unbelievable number of pull tab games they had was why the day was so long and boring. I don't like the pull tabs, but I know some people do. I wish I had counted the pull tab games. I think a low estimate would be about 50 games. So the place is fairly quite during the approx 12 bingo games. During the pull tabs the announcer talks constantly then the approx half of the people who don't play, try to talk over the announcer. So it's loud and all the while you are saying when will the next bingo game be. Do I have time to go to the bathroom, get a snack, I don't know because they don't post a schedule for the pull tabs. They could easily sat that they are going to play 5 pull tabs before the next bingo game. Then when they finally play a bingo game they wait an endless time in between number calls. On top of this they had all of these prizes to give away. I don't understand why they had such a large number of pull tabs. I have been there other times and it was not an issue. They had pull tab games before but not that many. I also think that they should have better descriptions on their website. For instance the raffle description just said it was a 15k raffle. It did not say that they would have more drawings for other amounts. It also didn't say how much the tickets cost. They said that if you went to play on previous days you would get $25 off bingo. I had to physically go there to get a description of the raffle. The bigger question is what is the law in Texas about bingo. What is their motivation for having so many pull tab games. Or even the motivation for the raffle. They talk about charities, if I was a charity, I would definitely pair up with a bingo hall. The amount of money that flowed into the bingo halls hands was a huge amount. Do bingo halls have to post their balance sheet? I am definitely a gambler. The opportunities to gamble in Texas are slim. This is why I even look to bingo. The odds are terrible. The more people, the more computers, all lead to terrible odds. I have seen many complaints that the computers win more often. It is just the number of cards on the computer. The more cards you play the more you win. 1 paper sheet has 12 cards, the small computer has 66 cards. So the computer will always win more. So I am realistic when I go there, and don't win. I just thought that $75 was a good reason to have a chance at 15k. Also I think that the door prizes are a good way to show appreciation. In the few times I have been I see that they have people that go every day. They deserve to have a chance at some prizes. I am sure that they give them a ton of money. Sorry for the long rant. I will probably go back to the hall. However, I will never go again on the customer appreciation day, regardless of the prizes. read more
