There are swim sessions for parents and toddlers, as well as sessions for gym and dance and drama. Children can enrol for trampolining, football skills, aquafun, gymnastics, etc. During holidays and Half Terms there are also holiday schemes for children. One thing which does make me laugh is the amount of people who after working out in the gym or pools go to the Mcdonalds next door.

Lunch was very well cooked and delicious. I hadn't realised it was a carvery but it is probably the best one I have ever had. The meat was cooked to perfection and all the veg was very fresh and home made. Dessert has some surprises. My partner had a delicious and tangy lemon posset and I have the sticky toffee bacon donut. I has to order it as it sounded intriguing and I wasn't disappointed as it was delicious. Only downside was that the place is quite big and fairly busy. It took a while to get the staffs attention for the bill as they were running around so much. That's a minor point though as the good was delicious and very good value.

Pin Mill is a hamlet on the river Orwell, perhaps 10mins drive from Ipswich…read more A dominant feature of the hamlet is the Butt & Oyster pub which is literally on the side of the river (the Orwell is tidal, and when the tide comes in, the river laps against the building). Starting from the pub, you can walk back towards Ipswich or out towards Shotley (if the tide is out). The walk towards Ipswich takes you towards the impressive Orwell Bridge (A14) and is a lovely stroll along the river, passing through fields and coutryside. The walk is also suitable for you to let your dog off the lead, providing it is well behaved - and you're not too worried about them jumping in the river (esp. if it is a labrador!) You can practically walk for miles before you have to turn around, so it is a walk that caters for the quick 20min excercise or a longer, more serious walk.
