The sidewalks are always so clean and even at night, I feel safe here. Parking can at times be a little difficult to come by, but the large angled spots are spacious. There are some great dining options that you don't see everywhere (although Ted's has been lackluster in the past), plus treat options like the famous Munson's, to give you a break to refuel on your shopping spree. This is a great place to catch up with friends or just get some errands done in a more relaxed and glamorous environment than an indoor mall.

I believe this was an old department store that has been converted into a multi-vendor sales space. Not necesarily an 'antique mall' (though there are some antiques). It looks like some of the spaces here switch vendors frequently. A few were empty or had signs up (showing that a vendor had left recently or was Coming Soon). The first vendor you pass (right at the front of the building as you walk in) seems to be the biggest and most stable. This is a video game store. There are also other vendors, very varied, from services (wedding photography) to antiques, furniture, artwork, toys, music, jewelry, etc. Some booths seemed to be more of a 'yard sale' aesthetic whereas others were more product-specific. Most seemed well curated, however. As long as you keep in mind that the products will vary based on when you go and what the vendors have, you may have an enjoyable time here. Pro-tip: I didn't see any parking lot specific to this building, so you'll have to use on-street parking.

It's a pleasant place to shop if they have what you're seeking (which, fortunately for me, they did). The outside parking area is huge, and the outside of the access road tends to have new big box stores and hotels. As empty as it is, I've seen worse, and I've also seen other malls and shopping centers bounce back from worse, so perhaps there's still hope here.

There are two levels and parking was plentiful. The anchor stores are Macy's, JCPenney, Barnes and Noble, to name a few. They have plenty of restaurants and fast food in the food court. There's a carousel which reminded me of Warwick Mall in RI; however it was $5 per ride which is pretty pricey. My toddlers loved the play area; for some reason, that area was super hot when we went. The mall also reminded me of Aventura mall in Florida. I've never seen a tattoo shop in a mall but they have that. They also have a dentist office, hair salon, nail salon, spa, and eyebrow salon. A hotel is nearby. I loved that they had a dollar store in there too. You can pretty much spend a couple of hours there and it has most of your lifestyle needs. The perfect place to walk around in when it's too hot , too cold, raining, and/or snowing out. The place wasn't too crazy packed either, so it was an enjoyable experience.

I was last in the nutmeg stage way back in 2022 when some friends and I drove to Manchester to check this place out, well, we should have checked the hours because it was closed and I wanted to cry. Well, now it's 2026 and a buddy of mine made sure we came on a day they were actually opened and I'm sure glad we did. This store is absolutely perfect from the first room full of arcade machines, on card action figures, and random toys to the video game room full of classics from the Dreamcast, GameCube, and even modern switch stuff. The last room here is vintage shirts and such which I didn't spend much time glancing at, but was a cool edition. It was cool seeing a place in Connecticut filled with old WWF stuff, Big Bad Beetle Borgs, Nintendo Powers, and tons and tons of figures, I wish this place was here when I lived in the area a decade ago. Overall, this is definitely one of my new favourite spots on Connecticut and definitely somewhere I'll be shopping at again on future trips. Today I was notified that because of the letter and new corrected appraisal, the total repair will be paid by the Insurance Company. Can you imagine my surprise and joy?
