BBQ pork and 1. Egg Fried Rice
    Laura F.

We were really pleasantly surprised with this scoop Chinese food restaurant in a small strip mall shopping center. The restaurant is much larger on the inside than it appears from the outside with plenty of seating of all sizes groups. It has 4 person booths and tables arranged for smaller and larger parties. However parking is limited in this small shopping area and can be congested. We were warmly greeted and didn't have to wait in line on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch. The restaurant is renovated with some nice modern finishes. This is a counter service style restaurant with a large to-go and meal pickup clientele. Most of the people who went into the restaurant were doing picking up orders. There was only one other group seated while we were there so it was quiet with one TV mounted on the wall. I ordered 2 scoops with egg fired rice and a BBQ pork. My partner ordered Lo mein noodles and a protein. We also got some Chinese donuts and an order of egg rolls. Ok total our lunch was under $20. If you are going to order just be aware there is a $5 minimum for credit card orders. We forgot to order drinks and had to use cash to get drinks in a separate transaction. They have tall boy cans of Arizona drinks. We had the Mango and Watermelon drinks. They also have fountain drinks, water and several other can options. The food was surprisingly good. The meat was tender and flavorful. The rice was good though a little dry. The lo mein noodles were a little bland and a lot like spaghetti noodles. The egg rolls are huge and have a crispy exterior but the interior egg roll wrap was undercooked and doughy. It was like they wrapped two egg roll wrappers around each egg roll so the outer wrap got crispy but the interior one did not cook all the way through. The soup was a little bland, if you can buy a serving of spicy oil as a side it would make it better. The Chinese donuts were perfectly cooked and delicious. The portion sizes are huge! We had so much food left over it made for a great lunch the next day. We will definitely go back. We will definitely come back.

Delivered in a sealed box! Nice!

Ordered delivery. Smooth and easy process thru Door Dash. Order was packed in a box! First ever, really appreciated that. Teriyaki chicken had a strong flavor I didn't care for, Anise? Fennel? and was more fatty than I would make myself. Shrimp Lo Mein and shrimp vegetables were ok. Fried rice had peas, carrots, and egg. It was good and worth the extra $. No chop sticks was disappointing but did get complimentary fortune cookies.

    Chicken lo mein

Ordered some food from Uber eats so I was expecting it to be a little sub par, but what we received was absolutely disgusting. Got the orange chicken, lo mein, and egg drop soup and everything was completely tasteless. Also had cheese Rangoons and vegetable rolls, but talked and the vegetable rolls was basically mush on the inside. Spent 36 dollars on food, and we couldn't even stomach eating any of it, such a waste. Do yourselves a favor and stop giving this place service so they can go out of business, at least this way customers looking for an even halfway decent meal won't have to eat the garbage they're dishing out.

Delicious, fresh food at a great price. One of the best Chinese to go places in Colorado.

    Wings. So good!

This is my favorite Chinese scoop place around the area. Good prices and fresh food (during the right time of day). They sell party trays for about $25 which is pretty good. I ordered some for my sons birthday party coming up this weekend. They have chow fun noodles and sweet and spicy wings which seem pretty unique to this place. I also like the honey chicken and BBQ chicken. I would definitely recommend coming here if you are wanting cheap, quick, and good Chinese food. The service is good here and the restaurant is clean, unlike some other scoop places I've been.

The standout for me was the taro fries. I absolutely loved them. They were crispy, flavorful, and something I'd order again. They were also surprisingly good as leftovers the next day, which isn't something you can say about most fries. If you're getting takeout and won't be eating right away, these still hold up really well. Overall, ZOMO is a great spot if you're looking for generous options, flexible portion sizes, and some unique menu items. The taro fries alone are worth the visit.

Malaysian noodles were decent with bit of flavor, but overwhelmingly, egg & bean sprouts with very little noodle & overcooked pork belly. It was so rough... I was really expecting some being that would basically melt in my mouth and that was not at all the experience. it made me miss San Francisco Asian food so much... as a treat myself kind of meal, it was fine, but I'm glad I went by myself rather than a date night with my husband cause I think we both would've regretted it on the plus side if there is one is that the staff we're remarkably friendly even for the lunch crowd. Don't order the Chicken Sausage if you're picky. *** Came here on a Saturday visit to Denver around 11am for brunch. I'd recommend making a reservation. Service was spectacular. The hosts were friendly and our server was extremely helpful and made excellent recommendations. We were seated upstairs. It was 100 degrees outside so naturally we were a bit warm up there, but it wasn't unbearable. Casual vibes here - jeans, shorts, tshirts throughout. We ordered Elderflower Spritz's to start. They were absolutely delightful. Light and very refreshing. We also had their seasonal specialty Cashew Queso. It was unlike anything I've ever tasted before. The cashew flavor wasn't overwhelming, it more so added a lovely bit of creaminess to the delicious homemade queso dip. We also shared the Carrot Cake French Toast. I truly have no words for how spectacular this dish was. I'll be fantasizing about it for the rest of my days. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft, rich, and cakey on the inside - paired with a scoop of some sort of fantastic whipped cream cheese *chefs kiss* Highly recommend getting this to share. If you're bold enough to order it as your entree, be prepared to take a nap shortly afterwards. I also ordered the "Make Your Own Breakfast" with cheddar cheese scrambled eggs and a side of avocado & home fries. It was all amazing. The portion wasn't overbearing but with the 2 appetizers we had - everyone at the table left happy. One thing to note: someone in my party ordered the Chicken Sausage and said they'd definitely get the bacon next time. So if you're picky about your sausage, try the bacon or avocado instead. Overall 10 out of 10 would recommend!!
