In fact the Dr I met with was kind, then gave vague information and tried to up sell me on vague pointless treatments and will then work to crush you through billing any way they can. They seldom answer the phone. It took several calls for me to get ahold of someone, even to make an appointment. I spoke to May who claimed to be the office manager with my concerns. She stated that the owners did not care about the experiences of their patients and that she was there to be a buffer so they don't have to deal with it. In fact she stated that the owner was right behind her while she was yelling at me then hung up on me. Be aware, if you want sub par medical treatment and to be treated like an object without care, they are exactly what you are looking for! So I started doing a lot of research on my own and was able to finally find some relief with diet restrictions, but I didn't want to be restricted and barely surviving my whole life, I wanted to be free of illness and thriving, so I kept looking and I finally found Dr. Wright and Julie. They figured out I've had several infections (Lyme, Epstein Barr, etc.), which other doctors had tested for, but they didn't use the right tests and so failed me just like all the other doctors failed me (I'm pretty upset at our healthcare industry if you couldn't tell). I'm now infection-free and feeling so much better. I'm still going to the clinic to help rehabilitate my poor body because after being sick for a lifetime, it's taking a bit more work to recover fully. But I feel so much better than I ever remember feeling already, so while I'd love to not be pouring all my money into healthcare bills still, I'm finally seeing real results and that makes it worth it. You have to be open-minded about some things they use, like the biometric machine (or whatever it's called). (I spent a lot of time on this review)…read more Dr. Kent Walker self admitted to cutting corners and copy & pasting previous incorrect information (compounding errors) into my medical records. He is shameless, full of nothing but excuses, pretends he cares after I had to talk to Mike the manager there (who was also not helpful, in fact he threw a fit when I brought up accountability issues). He didn't give us thyroid biopsy results which I would have liked to know in a timely manner. He implied that a biopsy for cancer is not "life or death" and he seems to only want to boast and brag (and 1-up) by relaying irrelevant information about himself being an Army Ranger. I was not going to see him to talk about him, I was going there to get my health issues addressed, but unfortunately he continued to not listen to the patient and document incorrectly as well copy and pasting previous information that was also incorrect. He will put on performative theater in the most patronizing and manipulative way, all to try to skirt accountability and continue to get away with doing a VERY bad job. I'm not sure if it is malice, incompetence, or negligence. (Or all of the above). VETERANS! Please look out for yourselves and make sure on myhealthevet your medical documentation is correct. In my experience, every appointment either says the opposite of what I said (displaying a lack of attentive listening skills) or completely fabricated nonsense, and I will be looking into all avenues of legal remedies at this point. This is due to Dr. Walker and his colleagues at Orem VA CBOC who enable him to continue to be negligent, careless, and only be a detriment to the Veteran community he is obligated to render aid for. Be careful because he is not the only one working for the VA that is doing the above mentioned things. These government employees (paid for by the Tax-payers) are very sneaky. The people above him just want it swept under the rug. I wish they would just do their job correctly, with attention to detail, and to perform duties with the sense of urgency our health issues demand. JUST DO THE RIGHT THING! (and have some integrity). If you do something wrong, I want an apology and a solution that is in my or other veterans best benefit. I have a meeting with the Chief of Staff and I am in contact with GAO and the IG. I wish you would have taken my warning to do the right thing seriously as I didn't want things to escalate the way they have. You just want to make excuses or blame the system, etc. That's not taking responsibility or accountability and that can turn into a health liability for the Veterans. But the time for giving you numerous chances to behave in the manner expected of a quality physician is all the way used up. Sorry, but I tried my best with you and you hung up on me and my wife. And to say the least, that's not cool with me at all. I never want to enter the Orem CBOC ever again, and that's a shame because Tim the security guard, Jamie the physical therapist, and for the most part Dr. Marchant are at least respectful and seem to want to be helpful. And now I think I will have to look elsewhere (outside of the VA) for care that I will probably have to pay out of pocket for.
