Just had an absolutely horrible experience.That king super's on northern been shopping there for twenty years. Wasn't really the gentleman's fault , but he wouldn't help it much They had jams and preserves labeled it by five of them To get the deal. I carefully selected five you know only needed one that were all Is labeled above the pricing All showed that pricing.They were all the same brand and type except for Different flavors period I wanted to get you another flavors that were not Shown to be of the proper pricing. however I did not Get those flavors because I wanted to get the deal. Then as i'm checking out , the guy tells me that One of the ones I got is not the right one Period even though i'm absolutely certain because I stood there in the aisle fir 2 and half minutes to be sure they were the right ones. After that, there's a 2 pound block of cheese and it says it has a digital deal on which simply would not scan. Who's running the self checker? Acts like I'm trying to steal things when I tell them about it. Are there James in the back and grocery was very kind and told me to tell them that even though the digital deal wouldn't scan, it is still valid. Additionally King super says a new membership that you have to sign up for called boost. The gentleman up front was so rude about Everything Or if not rude very uncaring And insulting by tone. That I left a $150 worth of groceries.Sitting right there.Told him have a nice day to which he didn't really seem to mind. needless to say, I will not be shopping at that.King super's probably ever again read more

This king soopers is a mess. Always out of the things I need, the meat counters are slow as molasses, and the lines are ridiculous. They need to open up more check out stations when the lines are back into the soda isle. I am done shopping at this location . read more

How disappointed we were when we chose King Soopers on Northern to supply meats for our family reunion. We called in the order on a Monday for a Friday pick up. We ordered six pounds of sliced deli turkey, the in-house rotisserie style. We ordered three pounds of pepper crust, and three pounds of plain. We ordered it sliced at #3 thickness. We called Thursday to confirm our order. When we came in to pick up our order, there were only three pounds of the pepper crust ready. It was sliced wrong (too thin and crumbly). The other three pounds were missing! We were given a number of excuses, but we were short on time and forced to buy inferior sliced turkey (at a higher price) anyway. We were told that King Soopers "would make it good next time!" However, there won't be a next time. After decades of shopping there, the constant employee turnover, and now this incident, has turned King Soopers into our former grocery store. read more

Over the course of 30+ years, I've experienced everything at this store - from friendly, helpful service to being ignored by floor staff and management. I left this store a couple of years ago - for about six months - to shop elsewhere, due to their management staff completely ignoring my requests for contact on their surveys. My return to this store was pleasant enough for a while, and then it was back to being ignored by staff on the floor and having to interrupt their non-business conversations just to get help. Over the past couple of months, I have requested contact from store management five or six times - and am again being ignored. Even an email to Kroger corporate has proven futile. As a result, I have moved my grocery business elsewhere and will continue to spend my money at other brands. I have made it plain to this local store in survey comments that they have lost about 95% of my business as a result of not caring enough to even send me an email in response. I intend to shop only their Deli department, since that department treats me as though they appreciate my business and have excellent products as well. I know one of the store managers personally, and he is the only member of management who has ever made a sincere efforts to improve issues over the past few years. Without some compelling reason to spend my grocery money at King Soopers, I'll be driving further, possibly paying more for some items, and giving up their fuel points . . . but sometimes integrity is more important than saving a few bucks. read more

The pharmacist was running flowers to people outside. There were customers waiting for consults when she was doing this. I was told my scripts would take an hour. Hour and a half later I'm told 1 is ready and one in the process. No idea of when it will be done. The lady at the cash register is super rude. Last time I fill anything here. read more

I do like the store. They have most everything I need. There is however one large issue. It has nothing to do with the products or even the staff. It has everything to do with the customers. This store has the absolute worst, most inconsiderate, and rudest CUSTOMERS I have ever had the "privilege" of shopping with. People would just as easily run you over or push you out of their way as take a second to say "excuse me, please, or thank you". What a bad reflection on an otherwise nice grocery store. read more

King Soopers has really stepped up their market by carrying certain foods. I have to shop for certain products due to food allergies & they've been slowly gaining more & more products I can purchase from there without having to drive all the way to Health food store! Well, yesterday I walk in thinking I knew where the particular item was that I needed & I didn't! So, as I'm waiting to ask Josiah who works there he is patiently & sweetly listening to an elderly lady talk about her recipes & what not! When she was done talking he took the time to help me & if he didn't know where it was he made sure he found the answer from someone who knew! Thank you Josiah for your help I greatly appreciate it!! As with the other King Soopers location on W 29th St, this store offers good customer service, helpful staff and quick check-out time. Plus, the additional Loaf & Jug fuel points are a bonus. Arguably the best store in town and miles ahead of Wal-Mart. read more

Came in the day before Easter store was packed boxes all over the floor and pallets left all over the floor unattended could not move anywhere. I would except being such a busy day that they would have all that cleaned up before noon. read more

Did a western union transaction at the Northern/Prairie King Sooper location in Pueblo, CO. I had my receipt showing what I sent the certain amount of money and how much they charged to send it and the total I paid. The recipient went to pick up money and was shorted a $100. I went back to the location show the receipt the same people that assisted in processing the transaction were there. They knew how much I sent, what was charge and the total paid. Receipt in hand. They charged me the correct amount. (Amount I wanted sent plus the transaction fee-) I asked if I could get my $100 refunded since they inputted the wrong amount. After the entire store knowing my business due to the unprofessionalism of the manager, Barbara yelling at me and calling me a liar. I couldn't get my money that is owed to me. She kept telling me it's a book keeping issues. It wasn't days later. It was the next day. I deserve my money back. I had the receipt showing everything. I wasn't treated fairly. It wasn't incompetence on my end. I had the documentation showing the entire transaction. Something so simple that could be handled quickly has turned into a nightmare due to the fact they couldn't own up to their mistake. I showed up with my money and explained what I needed paid the money and had the confirmation. The screw up was on their end. I don't trust doing business with them ever again. Save your time, money and composer and go elsewhere. read more

Probably the best place in town to shop. Good selection and fair prices. Downside is customer serivce, unless you like to wait a lot. Parking isn't great, either. Overall, still a good store. read more

The store layout was great before corporate started making all the unnecessary changes. At first, the produce section looked nice until the complete aisle blockage between produce and the floral section occurred. Then, the meat department has been turned into a right angle where customers have to literally walk completely around either the produce or the meat department to get to either one, whereas before, the aisles were open to move through freely. Less room for customers, less room for carts. Why any corporation would turn space that was used mathematically correct into less space for patrons is ridiculous. Very bad corporate strategic planning. Due to this, shoppers are in a bad mood and so are employees, everyone is disgruntled as everyone is bumping into one another. Also, they have removed many products during this new "layout." Not sure if they will be getting them back, but the store will be losing customers due to the aisle blockages, guaranteed. No one likes to grocery shop when there is literally no room to shop. Otherwise, the store was virtually perfect before all this. Highly inconvenient. read more
