Meh, not my favorite. For one the parking lot is an absolute nightmare. I think I've seen more accidents in that place than anywhere I can count. Too many businesses and a tiny little parking lot make for an awful time. When you finally make it in to the store, the other reviews are right. They seem to have an instocks issue at this location. Items, especially in dairy, seem to always be out of stock. My favorite coffee creamer is always a guess whether it will be there or not. That's the main issue. Employees seem to be friendly and lines aren't bad usually. The reason this gets 3 stars is for the produce. I've always been happy with it. Usually well stocked and fresh. It's the best thing in the area, especially when compared to Safeway across the street or WalMart or Target close by. When we need fresh produce for one of meals, we come here. read more

As a recent resident of Littleton, CO, I left a King Sooper's store in Longmont, CO that I loved, and found one that I also am fond of on W Belleview Parkway in Littleton. As an 81-year-old woman, I now live on the second floor of an apartment complex, which has no elevator. Shopping online for my groceries has been a very gratifying experience. Not so with the order I received by delivery from Instacart tonight. I did not indicate that the driver leave the bags of groceries at the door, rather than to bring them into our apartment. The bags were over-loaded, extremely heavy (2 half-gals of milk, with 2 Classico Sauce jars, cucumbers, chips and more) in the same bag! That was just one example. Further, whoever filled the order at King Sooper's did not pack 2 packs of Simple Truth chicken tenders, just one. I rechecked my order and had clicked on the number 2 for the quantities. (Please see the attached file) To add injury to insult, Instacart also tacked on a $9.95 tip, in addition to the same amount for the delivery. I will be sending a copy of this review to Instacart , as well. I will not utilize their service again. I am quite content with the delivery people I have used from King Sooper's and will continue using your people only as my delivery people. I shop at the Kipling and Belleview store. Great crew, few problems, but--no fresh-baked soft dinner rolls in the bakery this year??? I placed a special order, expected these (they were delicious!) Instead, I was presented with Kroger brand rolls--from the bread aisle!! They looked kind of like wilted, undersized hamburger buns. Tried one at home--not very good. No! These were for my holiday table! Went to Safeway across the street (not my favorite store,) and got some nice, fresh ones, right out of their oven! Please--go back to baking them next year!! read more

I've been shopping at this location since 2004. It's never been an exceptional shopping experience, but was an average experience. Over the past few months it's actually become a horrible place to shop. The deli has to be the worse part of the store. If you are lucky, you'll be able to get someone to assist you, but most often, I end up just walking away. If you do get someone to help you. They are very rude. No eye contact and will hardly say a word. The produce is typically under stacked although I haven't had any issues with the quality of the product they have. The store is pretty clean. From a health and wellness standpoint, this and probably all King Soopers are just scary. Here's why: - All of their produce, especially fruit, are frozen. So, the sell by date/the date the product goes bad is NOT EVEN CLOSE TO ACCURATE. Whatever the date says, subtract roughly 2-4 days depending on the produce - The amount of times I have gone into this location (mornings, afternoons, and nights), and have seen multiple items in the produce section covered in mold has been a 100% success rate. - The quality of their meat is SCARY. It's funny for me to say this because I really don't even have high expectations, but oh my goodness. It seems like King Soopers cares more about poisoning their customers over anything else Aside from Health and Wellness, this is actually a dangerous location to shop at. One afternoon, my fiancé and I were shopping in the produce section, and few of the employees would not stop staring at her. In the beginning, we let it go but then the employees kept on staring. When trying to call them out, a threat was made by one of the employees that they had a weapon in their backpack. When we got home, we called the store, allegedly spoke with a woman from HR, and nothing was done. A week later we go back and see the same employees. This time around, we were actually followed out of the store by one of them. When going back inside to report the incident, a few of the cashiers tried calling the manager, and it took roughly 8+ times for him to show up. read more

Worst King Soopers!! Busy store. Was checking out with $400 worth of groceries. No checker to check me out (even though 4 employees were standing around talking to each other). I asked if I could have a checked and one of the employees said 'no'. Several people standing in line to self-check and the employees didn't have a care in the world. Will NEVER go there again. Today at the King Soopers at Belleview and Kipling, Red Bird chicken was on sale 2 for 1. When I got to the checker, I was told that I'd be charged for both packages and I had to go to Customer Service to get a credit for the second one. So, while I thought it was absurd, I did go to Customer Service where I had to UNLOAD my entire sack to get to the two packages of chicken. Customer Service then credited me for the less expensive. This was not only stupid and a great disservice to the customer but a total waste of time for the employees. I know there are other King Soopers stores that are efficiently managed. The manager at Belleview and Kipling should be replaced immediately! read more

Will never shop hear again! I overheard employees laughing and making fun of my disabled aunt who has a mobility scooter. When we approached the checkout it was obvious the employees shared in the laughter gossip bc everyone stood with a smirk on their face. My aunt would like she says she heard one say " only black folks get like that". I was at King Soopers at 6:00 am this morning to pick up items for school. A woman unlocked the doors and opened them. I went inside to get vanilla and ice. The vanilla I needed was on the top shelf and at 5', I was unable to reach it. That is when I started looking around for someone to help me and noticed there wasn't a single employee anywhere to be seen. I went looking in all of the other aisles -no one. There was another customer walking towards my way and I asked him to help me, he was rude but grabbed it for me. I started to get concerned and a bit frightened as I made my way up to the front of the store. I got to self check out and scanned the entire front of the store, including customer service and there was no one to be found. I needed ice and wasn't sure what to do to pay for it. I finally used the "look up" function and found it. I paid and grabbed the ice, still not a single person. Walked past the customer service, looked everywhere as I went out the door, NEVER saw anyone. I will never go to this store again. This is so unprofessional and wonder what corporate would think about one of their stores being left virtually unmanned. Worst King Soopers Pharmacy on planet earth! Do NOT go here for prescriptions - the pharmacist are SO rude and take their sweet time making people wait in line for hours! For example, I called to make sure my prescription was going to be ready, the lady over the phone said, "yes, it will be ready in 45mins to 1 hr". I go there to pick it up after 1.5 hours and have to wait in a line of cars for 30mins to get to the window... I pull up give the lady my name and DOB and The lady at the window says, sorry this one is still in process. I said well the lady over the phone told me it would be ready at an hour max. The lady at the window then responds with, "We'll, whoever you talked to over the phone never updated the time, so There's nothing I can do there are other people here who are in line to get there prescriptions, you're not the only one". Needless to say I did not have anything nice to say back to her and left. I have requested my prescription to be sent elsewhere after 3 back to back HORRIBLE experiences! read more

I went in for a participating coupon that the Vizer app was having and King Soopers was sponsoring it and the cashier was very rude and kept telling me that they couldn't take the coupon even though I showed him that this store was participating and the bagger kept saying it was okay but then the head manager came over and just scanned it and it was done but I had to pay a dollar more because he wouldn't let me put my King Soopers number in to save on my Yerba Mate teas. Been going here for years. Very good store, good selection and always good service. One thing I have been puzzled about it. Upon entering, the hand held grocery baskets are placed on the right which makes you dodge outgoing traffic to get one. I would think its a no brainier to place them on the left as you walk in. The only 2 people that are nice are an elderly lady at the self check out and a gentleman working nights restocking the produce. I went in there yesterday and EVERYONE isn't wearing a mask (customers and employees). I'm sure not everyone in that store got a vaccine. They aren't cleaning/sanitizing anything. Need some improvement for sure. Was there today and not going back for large shopping. My problem was the cleanup called on one of the isles when I got there. About 10 minutes later when I got to that isle it still wasn't cleaned up. The 12 pack of soda that had burst sitting there. I come out by the dairy and there is also a broken GLASS jar of salsa with the caution tripod next to it. Stockman 15 feet away stocking eggs. Wtf? Clean up broken glass ASAP. I should have taken a picture really. And although the cashiers are mostly great and friendly there aren't enough. Self check out is covered but only 3 for those shoppers that have a lot? I'm going to a new King Soopers next time. Before checking out I went by the broken GLASS jar and it was still there. A smile doesn't make or break a grocery store, but when each person has a sad and war torn look on their face, it says something about the management. We had to bag our own groceries, which in and of itself isn't terrible. But ALL OTHER King Sooper's do that. So disappointing. I love this King Soopers! Steve, Gail & Molly are my favorite cashiers! I will wait in a longer line just to have them. This store carries specialty dairy free products that I can't get at Walmart. They also carry other specialty products like Prego sensitive recipe. I really appreciate all the specialty products they carry that I need, especially considering this is a smaller King Soopers than some. The bakery is awesome and makes very good cakes and my kids love the sushi in the deli! This little store is my favorite place to get groceries. The employees at this store are so helpful and sweet that it just feels very welcoming. read more

Been going here for 8 years but today is the reason I'll never go back! I went in to cash a check, like I have for months (all checks from the same major company), but it kept saying "Check Reading Error" and she said "Well I can't cash these". I said, since she was the ONLY person working there on a busy Saturday, "Can you try one of the other check readers (since there are several)?" And she said "No". Seriously? Oh and I was standing there 10 minutes while she was also fiddling with some other machine so it took her forever between tries to come back to me. So I went to the King Soopers on Ken Caryl and they cashed them with no issues. I understand system issues but when a worker refuses to try another machine just feet away then that is unacceptable. For King Soopers, this happened at 1:35pm on Saturday 9/15 and the girl had dark brown hair, she should be easy to identify as she was the ONLY one working at customer service at that time. This is my closest King Soopers, so it winds up being the one I visit the most. Nothing wrong here. One of the nicer King Soopers in the area. There always seems to be someone stocking fresh veggies and fruit, there's always someone to cheerfully help you if you need it, and I'm quite pleased that they've decided to stock more organic veggies and fruit. Plus, can't beat the discount baked goods section of the store. Nice to see them not throwing massive amounts of food out, even if it means that I eat more doughnuts than I should. The parking lot IS a mess, though, and getting in and out of the place can be a hassle. read more
