I've been a Loyal client for a few years now but, in the past year, this has been the ONLY smoke shop for me! The brothers that own the place are fantastic! They are very knowledgeable, ALWAYS helpful and respectful , as well there have been a few times they readily went out of their way for me. There was no need for them to do so, but they did anyway (without a second thought!)! Rarely do you find places like this any more! Helpful staff, excellent prices & an outstanding selection... This place is delightful, always friendly people, always room for me, my walker and my dog. They remember my name and have treats for my dog. They will help me get my walker and dog into the store if needed. This business is placed false charges on my debit card and became indignant when I took in proof. The man stated it might have another employee that helped me. It was the same man. They are in, my experience, liars and thieves and that is my opinion. We can stop people from cheating us, guess how! I was overcharged significantly by the OWNER of this shop. He verbally told me that the amount I was to be charged was $55, which was a few dollars less than the price on the sticker of the item so I thought, yay a discount. I gave the guy my debit card and he swiped it and then flipped the screen around for me to sign the transaction. It wasn't until a couple days later that I saw he doubled charged me in the amount of $110. I went in to the store with the product that I bought thinking this will be an easy fix, after all they have cameras on the register and they can see that I only bought and walked out with 1 item, but as soon as the counter person (the owner's brother or the owner himself) realized I wanted my money back he was too busy to help me. He took my info down and said he'd call me later that day or the next to square it away. I never received a call. I called them a few days later and the same guy gave me the run around on the phone, told me to call back in an hour so he could call the owner and when I called back he told me to call back again at another time and hung up on me. It was obvious that this was a run-around. Basically, these guys are CROOKS. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK CARD. I can't believe how unprofessional they were handling this situation especially considering how much money I've spent in their store, money by the way, I WILL NEVER spend there again. I ended up filing a claim with my bank to try and recover my loss, but in the ideal business world it shouldn't have to come to this. If I could give this store zero or negative stars I would. King Smoke Shop on 15th in Ballard has the most consistently fresh roll-your-own tobacco I have found in Seattle. AND they have as good a selection, if not better, than any other smoke shop I've been to in Seattle. I generally smoke Peter Stockkebye, but sometimes smoke other brands of RYO and prerolled cigarettes. Fresher than the competition every time, in my experience. Makes a big difference. Plus, the guys there are pleasant and straight forward. There are a couple of other shops where I like the owners too, which might occasionally be more convenient to me, but quality of product is a serious tie breaker. Whatever King, or their distributor, or both are doing to make them consistently fresher, I hope they keep it up. Don't know anything about vape or head shop stuff, but my experience with tobacco leads me to recommend you give King Smoke Shop on 15th NW a try for those needs as well. read more

This merchant took my friend's money. He offered a good price so my friend MISTAKENLY put his card in the machine, but the price was too much, so the merchant moved him down the counter to look at something else, but briefly moved back to the cash register and completed the original purchase without telling him. The merchant returned to show even more merchandise. My friend ended up buying NOTHING but was charged in excess of $100. When confronted later with the bank statement, the merchant laughed.
