Last.cleaning I had in January was the worst cleaning I ever had. Left feeling like I didn't even have much polishing done. Fast forward to a dental emergency, called for an appointment and was told all the Dr's were out on vacation, that they were only doing cleanings. How is it even legal to do dental cleanings without a Dr on site in the office? Is that a thing??? Anyway, was scheduled a wk out for an "emergent" appt. Day comes and I was stuck in traffic, I called the office to let them know. I know all offices run on a tight schedule, BUT when you have a pt calling telling you they are stuck, how is that not reasonable? I was told they could look at it but couldn't do anything if I did come in late. Why bother! Then tried to reschedule and was given a appt of 2 weeks out. NOT OK. Sad.to leave a group I have been with over 30 years! But enough is enough! I called another office when I hung up, got in at 8am the next day and had the exam and repair done all in the same appointment! Now that is customer service!

Lack of hygienists, lack of communication, lack of dentists within the group! The practice has a systemic problem of cancellation and being unable to reschedule appointments within 5 months.

It took a few weeks before my new crown came in and his assistant started the work even if I told her it really hurt. She glued it in place and had to try to make it smaller , the whole time my neck was tilted back. I stopped her after she had been trying almost 2 hours and Dr Hagarty came in. He looked at the crown and made a comment that it was a mile high. He continued for a long time. Then shooting pain started that night so I called them and they got me in. My tooth next to the crown had an infection so he did a root canal. By this time my neck was in so much pain that it went down my shoulders to my arms. I went in to talk to him to let him know what happened. He dismissed it. He told me it had nothing to do with the dental work, I was just old! I had to see my primary care doctor, go to my pain doctor and have a pain shot into my spine, and go to my Neurosurgeon to make sure no permanent damage was done. I have gone through so much and my doctors agree it was from the dental work. Still paid for work done. But am disappointed with lack of compassion.

I called them that morning, and set a time. Later that day, my dentist called me directly and apologized for the inconvenience and misunderstanding and said they would make it right. So I called back to this office and canceled. First and foremost I am not a patient of this office. I have never seen anyone in that office and I am so thankful I haven't! I was sent a bill for $25 from this office 40 days after that appt. Yet let's keep in mind I canceled that day! No policy or no show disclosures were discussed with me. I called back and said thank you but I will stick w my provider. Yet I have been sent a $25 cancellation fee for months now. So I contacted a local attorney who is a very good client of mine and he said nope! Send them a letter disputing the fee and then if they refuse to write off the $25 fee, file a formal complaint with the Ohio State Dept of Dentistry. So I did that today! All I can tell you is that if a office that HASNT verbally or physically provided you such a disclaimer, it is null and void. I am not a current patient and zero disclosure of such was provided over the phone: That is insurance fraud. Plain and simple. And if they place this bogus charge on your credit, you need to immediately file a fraud claim w the Ohio State Board of Dentistry. I had this same issue w an ENT and the Board of Medical Review nailed him to the wall. Do not play into this billing scheme. It is illegal with out being presented w such disclosures! I would highly not recommend this office and suggest Dr RODDY or Palm on Indian Ripple for wonderful care!

Outstanding Orthodontic Care!…read more I can't say enough good things about this place From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, comfortable, and truly cared for. The front desk staff is warm and efficient, and scheduling was always flexible and easy even with my busy calendar. Dr. Kulkarni and Dr. Fitz and the entire team are not only highly skilled but also genuinely passionate about what they do. They took the time to explain every step of my treatment plan, answer all my questions, and ensure I felt confident throughout the process. Their use of the latest technology made everything smoother, faster, and even kind of fun (never thought I'd say that about braces!). The clinic itself is modern, spotless, and has a calming atmosphere. They were also incredibly accommodating and respectful of my time, which made each visit a breeze. Now that my treatment is complete, I can honestly say it was worth every visit--and I can't stop smiling! If you're looking for a clinic that combines expertise, compassion, and amazing results, look no further than Kulkarni and Fitz Orthodontics!! Highly recommended!

They used Dayton Children's for anesthesiologist services, scheduled through themself with insurance pre authorization through the Dentistry practice. My story is that we paid $500 before the procedure as an estimated cost. Following the surgery, we were hit with $14k bill from Dayton Children's and $600 more from the dentist. We have medical and dental insurance. The dentistry practice got preauthorization for it. So what actually happened then? How can it go from $500 to $15k. My wife's labor cost was lower. I strongly feel that Centerville Pediatric does not care holistically about the patient or their families. They want that sweet sweet $$$$, and refuse to help you figure out why we got a $14k bill despite them scheduling and getting pre-authorization for the service. When I asked for help several times over months to figure out the billing error, they finally said they will send to collections. "They bill separately." Yeah yeah, but you scheduled it and got preauthorization. You should have been transparent about costs instead of trapping us without recourse.

This place is not a safe and welcoming environment for children, especially any with sensory…read moresensitivities or anxieties. I took my children here three times for cleanings and once for fillings. They are so booked that they do not take the time to comfort children who are struggling or go back to skipped steps (e.g. x-rays) because it is a very uncomfortable process and they are far from gentle in placing the slide in the child's small mouth. In fact, there were multiple children crying at my kids' last cleaning and one of the hygienists told a child to "stop being a cry baby." This child not accompanied by a parent as the child was in foster care. They always seem to have lots of foster kids being seen with extensive offerings of unnecessary treatments, taking advantage of a sensitive population for monetary gain at the expense of already traumatized and mistreated children. The hygienists gossip around corners about the children with nothing positive to ever say. During my child's filling, the Dentist even tried to tell my kid that he was numb and couldn't feel anything and to stop moving. I stepped in and clarified that there are known genetics that anesthesia resistance and that it is only right to believe the child when they say it hurts. Only then was another injection of lidocaine given. Don't let the TVs above each cleaning table or the prizes fool you. They do not tell the kids step-by-step what they are going to do and do not make any accommodations. This place has traumatized my kids and me to the point we are anxious to try any dentist. They are also outdated in their practices when considering who sealants are best for, when a spacer should be placed, using high flouride on baby teeth to spare the trauma of an unnecessary tiny cavity having to be filled before it falls out on its own, or remineralization and prebiotics education to parents much less as a treatment. Such a disappointment from our wonderful pediatric dentist in another state. The two positive comments that I have are 1. My children were vomiting sick all night before a cleaning and I called to notify first thing in the morning of this pop-up illness, which they did change their appointments with no cancellation charge and 2. They front ladies are not stingy with the rewards (e.g. they will trade-out an unwanted colored ball for a desireable one). Otherwise, this is a meat market of children's dentistry. Never leave your child alone here and better yet, avoid the trauma of this place all together.
