She then asks him how he was raised and did he never learn how to leave a tip!! So I had paid online when I booked it and therefore he never even thought about leaving a tip. She then proceeded to say to both boys that she guesses she would go ahead and cut it this time but they better leave a tip! Even after she said all of these horrible things to both of my kids, my oldest, being the most polite person ever, still tipped her. First she puts the bib on me without the fresh neck gasket tissue. When I point it out to her she says it's okay because it was clean this morning. They have been open a couple hours by the time I got there, that means I'm sharing neck sweat with 4 or 5 other people. I have to insist before she will change it. Hair cut starts and she is doing it dry. She drops the clumps of hair from each cut directly on my face, not off to the side like EVERY person who has cut my hair in my life. Because my face is so full of hair I can't breathe, I push her hand away and stand to brush the hair away from my face. When I sit she does the exact same thing again. When I go there I usually drop 20.00 with tip included, She got the 14.00 charge. However, if you like an efficient, low cost, quick trim then in my opinion you just cannot beat the Great Clips concept: I have registered with them which means wherever I am (e.g. A recent business trip to Florida, or when I spent most of time in San Marcos, CA until recently all I had to do is give my phone number and up my info would pop and they would give me the same finish as always. Also with their App the longest wait I have ever had is less than 5 minutes. Furthermore, being as old as dirt, it only costs me $13 (less on specials) and I am a happy camper and out the door in less than 20 minutes! Perfect!!! At this store I have always found the staff decent and skilled, and friendly enough for a 20 minute chat. The manager/ owner here is a really nice guy too. Recommended - unless you plan to run for POTUS!! Tip - don't :)
