The restaurant has a comfortable feel with its painted green walls and tree-filled wallpaper. Dimly lit with candles and having both high and low dining tables, one can go there with a group of friends or as a date. The selections of burgers and its toppings were plentiful ranging from the basics (hamburger, cheeseburger) to their themed specials such as "Rotkäppchen," "Jägersmann," "Großmutter." Non-beef eaters, fear not, they have chicken or vegetarian patties as well. We ordered the night specials: burger with sides + large drink for the price of burger + 6 EUR. There were lots of choices, so we had to order like this: Toppings: BBQ-sauce, cheese, fried onions with additional mushrooms (for 30 cents extra) Meat: 140 g beef patty (fresh from the daily market as advertised) Bread: whole grain (can choose between wheat or whole grain) Side: crispy onion rings with BBQ sauce Drink: "Saftschorle" And repeat another order with "Rotkäppchen" (rucola, cheese, balsamic-fig dressing) / vegetarian patty / whole grain / fries / beer. I was quite happy with my BBQ burger. Beef was cooked medium well but not too dry. The fried onions and mushrooms were great compliments to the burger, and I liked the whole grain bun instead of the classic white bread. C was also enjoying his Rotkäppchen burger, but the vegetarian patty is surprisingly spicier than expected. I look forward to try their other burger combinations.

Great place and convenient for us due to our stay just around the corner. We have been in Europe…read morefor about 2 weeks, and sometimes a good burger is needed! We have looked forward to all the dishes that aren't readily available at home, but sometimes good ole comfort food is what we need. This fit the bill. My wife had a salads and I opted for the cheese burger with added bacon, and a side of fries. The drinks were great as well, We so wish that the U.S. would adopt the serving style where the alcohol is in the glass and they bring the soda in a bottle to be added at the table. In the U.S., it usually comes from a soda gun that might, or might not be clean, and is always flat. My burger was cooked medium, with a bit of pink, just the way I like it. The fries were soft in the middle with a slight crunch to them, with flaky salt. My wife's salad had a bit too much dressing for her tastes but I thought it was good. We have started sharing meals this way, as our appetites are smaller now that we are getting a bit older.

For my first time here I tried their "Cheese Explosion Burger". This monster lives up to its name! I forget how many cheeses this thing has because quite frankly I never heard of some of them before. But rather than ketchup, mayo, or some special dressing...this burger comes with nacho cheese as its condiment. Again the name: Cheese Explosion. As you can see from my photo it is also garnished with two kinds of fried cheese skewered to the top bun. Cheese Explosion. At the risk of stating the obvious: this is a burger for folks who love cheese. Also, if you don't like pink in your burger...make sure to tell them. They serve all their burgers medium.

Stopped at this restaurant in Germany specifically because they had gluten free options for my…read morefriend. The restaurant was very small but had nice outdoor seating options. It was a burger place but also a cafe. Everything was mini the burgers, the fries, all the way down to the teeny salt and pepper shakers on the table. They give you an order form to fill out. I order the 'MEDITERRANEAN GARLIC LOVE Juicy ox meat, salad bouquet, homemade tomato pesto & homemade aioli' and the 'THE GREEN CHICKEN Tender chicken breast fillet, homemade avocado cream, salad bouquet, homemade chimichurri' None of the burgers were anything to write home about. The fries were delicious though, the best part. I also ordered a chai latte which was extremely milky. Not a bad spot and it did the job but if I had the choice I probably wouldn't go again. The cafe looked cute inside and I did appreciate the options to customize. They also has a nice bathroom.

She explained the concept "we have different types of sliders and which you order with sides tapas style..." The staff were very accommodating too- the menu was in German and despite it being busy, she translated virtually all of the burger and side options. I was hooked when she said sliders. So as it turns out they have traditional burgers, cultural varieties like German sausage, Spanish , Greek, Asian you name it. Vegetarian options too like halloumi. You get a form and fill out your order preferences. I was so blown by my meal that I came back for lunch the next day. My favourites were the pulled pork, the classic burger with Chimichurri, the Barbacoa and finally the one with German white sausage (I forget the proper name.) For sides- the Caesar salad is a must. Not since Jacob & Co Steakhouse in Toronto have I had a Caesar so addicting. The sweet potato fries are awesome too. Get them with the cilantro mayo. Finally, don't forget about dessert. The classic creme brûlée is wonderfully done but equally amazing is the Toblerone mousse. The best part is everything here is tapas style meaning the portion is small enough you can try it all! 2 or 3 sliders, 3 sides and 2 desserts. Have fun choosing. You won't go wrong either way. I will miss this place and can't wait to visit Munich again.
