They took three hours to groom one dog, a miniature Schnauzer. He gave the excuse my dog was matted. I have a grooming table any dogs have been matted. Never ever did it take me over an hour. I asked for my pup's beard to stay intact. The guy ran his fingers through it and said no problem. I asked for the skirt to be intact, if possible. He refused to do the skirt and said my pup did not need it. What a lack of respect on what the customer wants!! My adult son kept asking what was taking the guy so long. After two hours, I joked maybe he was in back of the van watching videos on how to groom a schnauzer, since they asked for pix of what a standard schnauzer cut was like!!! What kind of groomer has no idea what a certain breed's cut is supposed to look like. When I got my poor dog back,all of his hair was cut off. No beard. No skirt, which the guy argued he would not do, so that was kind of expected, since they did not care what I wanted and what is proper for a schnauzer. My poor dog did not even have eyebrows. The gut left him no furnishings whatsoever. When he brought my dog to the door, I said I did not want my second one done - I did not want the total grooming time to be six hours, besides I was not letting them touch another dog of mine after what they did to poor Charlie. The guy insists I signed up for two dogs and seems bewildered when I say no! I ask for how much I owe. The "groomer" says he will have to call the office. He says they want to talk to me. After explaining to the guy why I did not want my second dog done and telling him to explain it to his office, he tells me they want to speak to me?!?! I am disabled. I was in pan, sitting at my table for three hours for one dog to be done. Then they want to talk to me? I got an apology and was charged full price ($100) to butcher my dog's hair. The guy then asks for a pic of my dog. lol. I refused. Then the guy sits at the bottom of my driveway - in it, on my property. Maybe hoping I would let my dog out, taking the pic I told him he could not have?!?! When I unlocked my front gate for the landscapers coming over, he moved to the street in front of my house. Creepy af. I think he was still invading my privacy, maybe trying to get the pic. Not sure. If it was not that, then it is even creepier. Bottom line, do not ever use these folks. They do not know how to groom a dog. They do not respect your time. They have no idea what they are doing. It is a clown operation. They should be ashamed of themselves! Three hours and my dog is butchered. You could not pay me to use them again.

After my divorce my ex husband left me with the kids and he took our monkey with him. In November 2024 our little family decided to add another monkey to our small family. This time we were interested in an owl monkey since they are a little bigger and they have such a happy face, they are always smiling. I contacted Poggi's again (of course you had once a wonderful experience with a breeder, you don't go anywhere else). Michael has now a wonderful wife, her name is Janet and two lovely little boys. When we first came visit them to see the available owl monkey, the whole family welcomed us so warmly in to their home. My smallest son which is only 2.5 years old was allowed to play in the living room with their boys while we got introduced to Avocado, now Coco. Janet really took her time to explain and go all our questions which we have or could have in the future. She helped us to apply for a state license and she was so nice and patient. We felt like we were a part of her family. When we finally received our license from the state and were able to pick up our little Coco, I was impressed how generous their starter package was. It included a cage, an UV light, a large verity of healthy and premium food, blankets, towels, toys, leash and belt, really everything we would need to bring our baby home the first time. Coco is a blessing to our family. He is so sweet and loving. We couldn't be happier!

Every aisle was very clean and well stocked. The ferrets and lizards are so cool but smelly if you ever had them before as pets. Lots of leashes and bedding.
