As soon as I entered the door, I was warmly greeted, both by a delightful woman as well as the smell of rich chocolates. I purchased the sun catcher, and enough chocolates for my family, and had a great conversation. I highly recommend stopping into Guths, if you are visiting Green Lake! Along the river you will see gravestones for all the cats that used to live here back in the day. In summer, this is definitely touristy and busy. It's a brilliant concept for the owner.....Have the customer serve themselves an unknown amount (there are no scales to even see how much you dispensed in your dish), and then make them pay an absurd amount that they can't negotiate. Ya can't return it!....although if I were smarter I would have just walked away. Flavor-wise we had a resounding "YUCK" (this is from kids and adults alike)....the only chocolate flavor available that day was Malted Milk. Tasted sour. We also tried the raspberry, which was okay. Nothing spectacular. Overheard one Mom say to her kids after paying..."And you will eat every last drop!".....ya never typically hear a Mom say that to kids when they get ice cream. Overall, nothing really special about Spoon N'Yogurt. Just something new to try....and then NEVER return. I give the place a year tops and the 'kitchy-ness' will subside.
