As soon as I entered the door, I was warmly greeted, both by a delightful woman as well as the smell of rich chocolates. I purchased the sun catcher, and enough chocolates for my family, and had a great conversation. I highly recommend stopping into Guths, if you are visiting Green Lake! I could have easily purchased more items than I did ($85), but I have to fly home and I can't pack everything I wanted! Then we went to get lunch. My mom and I both had a blt. She had a hot mocha latte and I had the grasshopper mocha iced. Everything was really good! With both of us getting chips, our bill was just under $50. I would get everything again. Gift shop, restaurant area and restrooms were kept clean. Then we went out back to walk along the water and see the covered bridge and chapel. Most everything was kept nice outside, too, but I was disappointed on the clumps of cobwebs and dust on the chapel and the dirty and cobwebbed windows on the outside. It wouldn't take much to wipe those items down. If I'm in the area, I would definitely stop in again!

But before the cheese curd endeavor, I had ordered a scoop of ice cream which was darn near the best I've had in a very long time - so good it rivals my ultimate favorite frozen custard. I forgot the exact flavor name of ice cream, but it was a peanut butter chunk chocolate.... Also, this "scoop" of ice cream I requested was not merely a scoop, it was more like a bowl! Also picked up a variety of meat, summer sausage and meat sticks. Never can go wrong here. Highly recommended if you're within an hours drive! Funny thing to add is my work colleague was with me - he did not grow up in Wisconsin and never had fresh cheese curds. I had been talking about squeaky cheese curds before we had been here and he gave me the crazy WTF look when I was trying to describe them.
