You want a king cake? They've got it. I don't know of there's an upcharge for the convenience of everything being in one place, but Ill pay it. You can check the website for the partnering bakeries at this year's location on Gravier, but there were at least 20 I saw. Saves you from driving from Metairie to Houma in search of your favourite king cakes. Fast service and we were in and out in under 10 minutes. Inside is more than cakes - everything from tea towels to fascinators and all things Mardi Gras, including Blue Bell ice cream (king cake, of course).

Now we all know that king cake calories don't count! That being said, with only a few days left until Fat Tuesday, I finally made my way to the hub. One of my favorites, Marguerite's, is sold here; their wedding/ almond extract icing is what stands out from the rest. There was a line of about 30 people when I arrived at 8:15a. They do not open until 8:30a but once they open, the lines move quickly. The layout of the hub is similar to a grocery store where one can walk around to shop and pay at a table. Easy! They also sell cakes by Caywood & Randazzo's, Caluda's, Nocca, a boudin one, a gluten free one, and many more. I will definitely be back.

It's that time of the year again! We made sure to go first thing in the morning on Sunday. It was freezing out, so we were able to walk straight inside. It wasn't hectic like last year, so we were able to check out all of the other items. This time we grabbed a Tartine king cake (2 friends who don't know each other had raved about it in the past week) and Nocca's collab with Chef Brigtsen which was a strawberry tres leches. I'm very happy with both king cakes and we'll be back before Mardi Gras!

This seasonal pop up is a great way to find your King Cake for Mardi Gras. Plenty of selection so you don't have to run all over town. They have plenty of checkout payment lines to get you out quick. Friendly staff and they sometimes will bring out samples to try. The place is well decorated to get you in the Mardi Gras spirit.

A centrally located hub with lots of king cake options? Absolutely! Came here on a Thursday afternoon and came back two days later! The pickings were plentiful both times and the checkout was a breeze. I managed to escape long lines on both trips, and I'm very happy with my selections. I got the satsuma almond from NOCCA and the frangipane from Bywater Bakery!

It's that time of year again.... King Cake Season! I've already visited three times since the season began, and I'm loving the new bakery additions, including Gambino's and newer brands like Tartine. The assortment of children's books and Mardi Gras-themed goodies, is fantastic! One suggestion I have is to implement a loyalty program--perhaps a "buy five king cakes, get the sixth free" offer. Just something to consider!

Love this place! Their friendly and helpful service got me so happy after the way I was badly treated at Dong Phuong a few days ago (they were so arrogant with their products) and it was sold out. We bought 7 cakes back to share with our friends and family. This place wants to sell us cakes and gave us excellent customer service. They appreciate we came! Wow! Felt so inviting with the greetings and smiles. I think that's what a good business supposed to treat their customers like (sarcasm). They have so many varieties from so many different famous bakeries (thank goodness the one we boycott are not here) We came about 11am on a rainy day and staff were still very cheerful in helping us. Thank you!

I've been coming here since they were at their old location by the theater on N. Broad. It's a new location @ Zony Mash, but it's the same fantastic service. I'm always greeted warmly when I enter the building. I lucked up today. I came BEFORE Lundi Gras (unlike last year). They were stocked fully, and I was able to get my coveted brand. They carry most king cakes from the popular bakeries around town, so you should see some of your faves displayed.

Caluda's Dragon Claw King Cake

I visited King Cake Hub and purchased a phenomenal king cake. I got the Caluda's dragon claw cake. Apparently it is an exclusive for King Cake Hub so you can't get this one anywhere else. The helpful employee told me it was their answer to the Dong Phuong cake that everyone wants without having to go all the way there and wait in line to see if you can manage to get one. Well let me tell you, I have never tried one of those cakes but I can't imagine it being better than this one by Caluda's. The texture was not like the brioche ones. It was sort of like a cross between cinnamon roll/ croissant . It was dense and moist and so delicious! Lots and lots of cinnamon goodness and with a delicious cream cheese icing. And it was a beautiful cake. Trust me, if you can get your hands on one of these you will not regret it! We arrived at the store about 10 minutes before they opened and were first in line to go in (on a Thursday).

So no one told me there was a whole king cake hub in Nola with majority of all the awesome Nola bakeries. Had to make a trip to Dong Phuong so took a side trip to this amazing place. Love that they offer individual/small boxes for you to sample if your not sure about the big box on most of the offerings. Get there early to have the wall to wall selection experience. I will be back to get some other king cakes before the season is over.

It's hard for me to do a fair assessment because they were out of 90% of the King Cakes. The girls working up front were super nice and explained they get a fresh supply every morning but sell out fast! I did still leave with an Almond Joy King Cake. I learned from the super nice girls that NOCCO (which appears to be the New Orleans Culinary Arts School) make an Apple and Goat Cheese King Cake. They had me at Goat Cheese! Now I have to get one of these! Still a fun place to visit but go early! I'd say it's a must for Carnival season!

This French bakery offers authentic pastries, hand-made croissants, brunch fare, & espresso drinks. The high-ceilings, white tile, and marble tabletops emit a European café vibe. There is also a charming courtyard if you want to soak in some sunshine. I first learned about this bakery when staying at the Hotel Villa Convento across the street. They served their buttery rich croissants as part of their continental breakfast. (I'm not sure if they still do.) Now that I have a house in the Quarter, I take a morning stroll over here to pick up croissants to take home. The butter croissants are a bargain at $3.50. I also love the chocolate & almond (both are $3.95 each), as well as the crisp & flaky Palmiers & delicate Almond Florentines. When I have guests, I bring them back a Ham & Cheese Croissant - a bargain at $5.50. They always ask me to bring another the next day.

I ordered your ube cake as a PURE Filipino , I can assure you that the "ube" cake, ain't no ube…read more Its some knock off trashy ass taro from temu, Im guessing its watered down 95% water and the other 5 as ube cuz it looks pale ASF. Im pretty sure its actually purple food coloring and not actual ube, the only reason why I'm not placing a 1 star is because the first time I bought a cake from this place, it was actually good (some coffee cake). This bakery made decent cakes till I tried YOUR UBE CAKE. If you want to copy trends and mix asian culture into your goods, then DO IT PROPERLY, or at least research on how to make ube. Try making ube jam instead and place it in the cake, that would taste WAY better. Also the yellow icy part inside the cake would've been delightful if it was cheese and not some random yellow piss ice. Ube is commonly topped with cheese, this bakery really missed the opportunity to actually be culturally on point. So much for Ube getting mainstream if none of these businesses get it right anyway. They always mess up asian cuisines and culture by making their "own version". Dont disrespect our ube broski (I can feel/taste the ube on the paste but it just isnt enough, it needs more) (update, i take it back. Tried it in the morning where it wasn't as cold. It was actually soft and spongy, the ube taste was stronger and it was quite delectable. Keep up the good work, i see room for improvement though)

Delicious! Everything is tried was excellent…read more They are individually packaged with makes it super easy to choose what you like, and prices aren't bad at all either. I picked: a large fluffy maple roll. The outside reminded me of a croissant in the best way with some mild maple sweetness and the inside was moist, pillowy, and rich. I heated it up in the oven next day which made it even better. A square coconut roll... crisp and flaky on the outside with the most delightful sweet coconut cream inside and flaked almonds on top. This was my favorite. Will get multiple next time. And a pair of taro rolls. These I was most excited for as I love taro, and they weren't bad at all, but were probably my least favorite of the 3, purely because they had an eggy aftertaste. They weren't overly sweet with a nice smooth taro filling. I also tried a taro milk tea with soy milk. These normally include lavender too, but I asked for mine without. The flavor was off the charts good. Strangely it was nothing like the usual taro drinks I've tried and I couldn't place what I was tasting, but it was rich and creamy and so satisfying. Only thing that bummed me out was that I ordered boba and there wasn't any. :(

My son's girlfriend was having a bad day at work so he and I decided to bring her home something…read moresweet to try and make the rest of the evening better. We were across the river and I found this spot via Mapquest. It is a small, quaint, hole-in-the-wall type place. Limited selection but everything looked delicious. She even offers a bag of doggie treats! Though Eclair is in the title, they didn't have any available when we went. However, I was easily talked into trying the creme brûlée crepe cake as a substitute for the eclair. We left out of there with half dozen macaroons, a gold encrusted oreo cupcake, the crepe cake slice, and a bag of doggie treats. The macaroons are simply delicious, flavorful and colorful. The oreo cupcake was a hit, and devoured quickly. My son and I split the crepe cake and it was surprisingly light. I wasn't sure what to expect with the multiple layers but was delightfully thrilled with the taste. And true to form, it had the torched sugar crusted topping. Definitely worth returning for more. Aladdin also devoured his doggie treat with gusto. One thing to note, the crepe cakes have to be ordered ahead of time and purchased whole. We were fortunate to have been able to sample a slice. I will definitely be placing an order soon. Overall, a superb find and well worth the trip. I will be returning.
