They guided us through setting a date and time as well as ensuring we get our waivers in before arriving. When we arrived, they got us right into the swing of things. For the casual climber, they have harnesses, teach you how to belay, and let you go on your way around the gym! It's a cozy rock climbing gym but certainly has walls with varying difficulty all around. There are bouldering areas but I was not quite ready for that challenge; many of the more seasoned climbers would go there. All in all, our group had a great time at Elite Climbing and I look forward to returning at another time!

Day pass was $28, but there are sometimes deals on Mondays or Friday evenings. Equipment is included in the pass, so no separate rentals which is nice. We like bouldering. They correctly informed us that they set their routes on the difficult side. I could even tell during a simple warm up route that they're much more challenging than usual. Right from the get go they were really easy to communicate with via email & phone to plan my event. When we entered we were welcomed warmly and everything was explained to us ahead of time. Both Rich and Ethan were very knowledgeable on the subjects of belay rock climbing and bouldering. Give those men a raise! When climbing they help coach you to give you the confidence to make it to the top of the wall. They were the best cheerleaders. They believed in us when we didn't believe in ourselves. A great surprise is that a regular member who was climbing that day brought in their dog Suki. She was so cute and friendly, but she knew not to get in the way of the climbers. My friends and I honestly had the best time and will be returning for the different specials they offer on some weeknights :)

Although reservations are not required, this particular day was extremely busy and a large birthday party going on. Our instructor was Ryan and he was great. Very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. This was our first time ever and he made the experience very enjoyable. I would definitely go back. They have many different packages/options based on what you want to do, and free climbing shoe rental if you choose. They do have lockers and cubbies to put your personal items in. I would suggest bringing a lock if you use a locker and want to secure your personal stuff but not a necessity We climbed for an hour and again we really liked it.

While Rise is a great gym, maintenance has been an issue since day one of the new ownership. Having…read morea stationary bike out of order for a month is one thing but now the situation is far worse. The heater motor burned out on Tuesday and NO repairs have been made and there is no information available regarding status. It is COLD in the gym. And with next week's forecast showing highs in the 20s, this is not sustainable. An indoor business like this should have HVAC issues resolved same day or, worse case, next day. We're on Day 4 and no workers anywhere. I plan to ask for a refund for any days where it is too cold to use the gym.
