Everything was fresh, good portions and most importantly actually flavorful. The Seoul Bowl was the healthier option and still had plenty of flavor. The Po Boy sandwich was my fav.. not exactly "health food" but not overly heavy either. Just the right balance. I had never tried pea protein shrimp before so I was a little skeptical but it was surprisingly delicious and worked really well in the sandwich. We both like our food spicy and they were great about customizing it for us. They added jalapeños to my sandwich and gave us spicy mayo on the side which pretty much made the meal perfect for our taste. The grilled organic tempeh was the only thing I personally found a little bland but my wife really liked it so probably more of a preference thing than an issue with the dish. The Sunset Smoothie was thick, tasted great and was a very good portion. Yes, prices are definitely on the higher side but unlike some other places in the area where you pay premium prices and leave wondering why, here the portions and especially the quality made it worth it. We would definitely come back.

This small family run restaurant has been serving tasty thai food for years in Del Rey. I cannot recommend this place enough. The waitress/host took our order, patiently answered all of our questions and was always checking on us. The pad thai with chicken was delicious. My friend likes her food to be spicy. She ordered the red curry with tofu. It was spicy the way she likes it. We will definitely come here again and recommend LA Vegan for friends. I don't live nearby but its worth the drive. He was very welcoming and friendly. He asked if I had an idea of what I wanted. I let him know I was looking for a bowl. He pointed out the two favorites. I decided on the chicken Tinga. I ordered a drink as well and another worker Edward suggested the Watermelon Margarita. They were both very upbeat and engaging and seemed to enjoy their job. Hector made the drink, it was soooo good When the food came out it was very disappointing. I received rice that had been scraped from the bottom of the pot. It was very hard and hurt my tooth as I bit in. I went back and showed Hector. He apologized and said that should never happen. He then went back himself and remade it. That bowl tasted so much better than the first time, It was delicious. It seems that good service is a little harder to come by now days. I appreciate both of these guys bringing a great attitude and providing amazing customer service. It makes the atmosphere of the restaurant very pleasant and welcoming and can really make or break a dining experience.

I've always loved their chicken sandwich and nuggets, so I already knew the food here was good. But on my latest visit, I finally tried the Classic Cheeseburger after people had been recommending it to me for MONTHS, and now I understand why. JUICY. Flavorful. Messy in the best way. Just an incredibly satisfying vegan burger, and one I've been thinking about ever since. Hey, Sunshine Kitchen continues to be such a gem in Culver City. The service was somewhat questionable, with us having to ask for napkins and our last drink, and them telling us we already have it, when we clearly didn't. The tables are also microscopic and the biggest one only fits 2 people. Yeah, probably won't ever be back for some yucky expensive food. The hot sauce bottles were all near empty, if that's any indication of the flavors. The places looks cute and all but yeah, no thanks.
