Amazing and fast work!! Just needed a few towels embroidered with names for my kids. She was super affordable, friendly, and had sooooo many thread color choices, as well as font choices. She showed me how everything would look on her computer before hand so everything was communicated really well. Worst service I've ever received. My son went to drop off a stocking for their $8 embroidery. He brought a stocking to match, they convinced him to do the $16 one to get exact match. I called 5 min after he left asking to switch to the $8, they said no, they don't do refunds. We pick up the stocking after paying twice the price, not only does the stocking not match the one we left, but the font is like 3 sizes larger! Bought polo from them. Knew it could not be returned due to the logo. So I ordered a 2XL just in case. Got a shirt that was equivalent to an Large -almost a medium... It is marked as a XXL. Got a lecture about how that is the same as a 2X. Most people know it is NOT. Screamed at me that it was and she has been doing this for 22 years and hung up on me. read more

Very poor customer service. I drove 30 minutes to pick up my child's uniform, only to be told they decided to close for the day. Hours online and website said they were open. The only "closed for business" notification was a white paper sign on the door. When I called, she said they were there in the store working, but were backed up on orders and decided to close. Since my uniform was ready and paid for, I asked if she could just leave it outside, she said no- I would just need to come back another day. While I respect and appreciate the employees of the store are busy, we are all busy too. I wish my time would have been equally valued. I wasted an hour out of my day. It would have taken her 30 seconds to walk outside and put my order by the door. She clearly was too busy and didn't care. I wouldn't recommend this company. Hope my school district has alternative businesses I can use for future ordering needs. read more

It was not communicated that they were Affiliated SSR. So when I received this order form from SSR, I was surprised and said well I'm gonna just go to KK to order thinking they do the jackets on site- wrong! Come to find out they order the jackets thru SSR, have to pay a late fee, and now my Daughter won't get her sparkle cheer jacket by Christmas- big disappointment. And the lack of communication started even before this... RECOMMENDATIONS- want parents to order jackets - Communicate clearly the process and who can get one, this to parents in the future. We've been customers of Kim's for 5 years. They've taken care of multiple Scout badges for us, created custom insulated cups, helped me design a unique Band Mom t-shirt, etc. My son wasn't happy with the sweatshirt designs offered this year at school so Kim's helped him create a cool new sweatshirt design. Sadly Kim is the WORST case scenario of poor customer service. I have grace for spelling errors, Grace for orders being filled incorrectly. I am Not perfect. They are always busy, and do a lot of great work. But they deliver! On many occasions they have done rush prints for me "because they had the time" they said, when really they were swamped but knew I need the shirts for the game the coming weekend. This place is a complete rip off. I ordered my daughters clothes she needed for athletics at school. Prepaid for the merchandise and all. When I showed up on Saturday at 11, they open at 10, I was told they could not give me the merchandise because they didn't feel they have enough business to be open on Saturday. Even though she was there with staff in the store!!!!! I have cancelled my order and recommend anyone else do the same or just simply stay away from this scam business. read more

So this will be the second time I'm playing a bad review, with good reason. The employees there are super nice and helpful, BUT the owner herself is extremely rude and hateful. So my wife went in today to get some shirts for the game tonight. The girl helping her said yes we can do that design on a crimson shirt. So my wife waited, the girl comes back stuffs the shirts in the bag. My wife asked if she could look at them and when she pulled them out they were not what we wanted. When my wife mentioned it, the owner came up extremely hateful, and told the girl to refund the money they could sell them. When my wife mentioned to her that she was told that those could be printed so said we don't have those anymore so what do you want to do. So although this business is been around and seems to be the only one where you can get some good shirts made up, the owner is extremely rude and hateful. read more

My son and his church group had some T-shirts printed here. They've had their shirts a couple months now, (my son wears his a lot!) and they all still look great. Also, the shirt they used is top quality and wears well (unlike the thin/shruken/cheap I've experienced from other custom print places). Warning! Get ready to be chewed out by the owner if you have any sort of complaint. I have ordered many uniforms from this place in the past few years. Most of the time, the staff has been pleasant and helpful. Not always timely, but they got the job done. Today I had the opportunity to meet the owner for the first time while picking up my order that I placed three weeks ago. After receiving a voice mail telling me that this was the third time they tried to contact me to tell me my order was ready, I headed over to Kim's Kloset. Once I arrived, I approached the owner to let her know that they may have contacted the wrong number/person as this was the first time that I received any sort of call from them regarding my order. And there it was... The owner's nasty behavior that many others warned me about. She immediately got heated and denied making any mistake. In fact, she insisted that I was obviously the one that was wrong. Talk about a bitter women exploding over nothing. Any professional business owner would admit to any wrongdoing and show gratitude to their customer. This owner is just plain rude. read more

Terrible Experience. Will never go back. Had custom embroidery done for school uniforms. Asked for thick, fat lines to match embroidery already on garments. They did a skinny, dotted line; it looks terrible. Yelled at me, because i chose the font. Said it was my fault for not choosing the right font. I had receipt showing i asked to duplicate current embroidery. So owner then yelled at clerk for not making me choose the font myself. How would i know what font to choose? Bottom line, owner would fix but would not guarantee work. Said likely it would cause holes in garment to remove and redo. So basically, not a real choice. I am stuck with it, and it looks terrible. My poor daughter has to wear it every day for the next year, unless i buy a new uniform and start over. She left the store in tears. Folks warned me not to go to Kim's Kloset as "they always mess up the order". I should have listened. That is why i wrote this review. read more

This place is the absolute worst store I have ever spent money in. These people are the RUDEST people I have ever encountered. According to the owner and employee, Kim and Mae, the customer is always WRONG, and they are always right. They never admit making a mistake, and if you accuse them of it, they will get very defensive, yell at you, bow up to you, backing you toward the door, and scream GET OUT, LEAVE MY STORE! I find that dealing with places like this, you always leave unhappy and they get your money and move on to the next poor soul. They truly deserve NO STARS after we spent quite a lot of money at this place between August 2015 and December 2015 and had poor quality and even poorer service. But NEVER AGAIN because today was the last straw when they physically nudged my 66 year old mother out of their store.... We spent lot of $ in this place and when I went in to order my middle schooler an ISMS hoodie to match all of his other ISMS athletic wear and gym bag, I found a maroon hoodie and a cute logo with lots of bling. I mentioned to my son that I wanted this for Christmas. He goes back later and spends his own money ordering my hoodie and when I opened it on Christmas Day, the hoodie was beautiful - but I noticed that it had two small holes in the fabric on both sides of the front pocket. It looked like they were frayed and would likely continue to get bigger. So I took the hoodie to the store to show them. I calmly and patiently waited until every customer had left the store as to not complain in front of other potential customers, and after I showed her the holes, her response to me was that WE MUST HAVE CUT IT WITH SCISSORS. I said "OH, WE DID? Um....I am 47 years old and have never in my life been so blatantly accused by a vendor of something so outrageous and crazy. They way the owner treated me over a $45 hoodie that my teenager worked hard to pay for. This is pure hatefulness. A pair of his gym shorts also came unraveled and had to be re-sewn. They must use irregulars or low quality merchandise. Please find another place. They do not deserve our business. And I plan to go to every Keller School in our area with this information and request they not recommend this place to parents of athletes and band. I plan to take my business and try the new business next to Family Video....Keller Embroidery. Yes, there ARE other places, we don't have to put up with this lady. read more

I brought scarves to Kims Kloset to have monogrammed. These scarves were to be a gift to the female members of my wedding party. Unfortunately, when I went to pick up the scarves they had been monogrammed with the incorrect font. I was very frustrated. The owner said that I signed off on the paperwork so they were not liable for any mistakes, but I did not select the font that they used on my scarves. She said "customers need to be trained" and that if they were to fix it they would have to charge me all over again. It is very stressful to plan your own wedding and it is expensive. I am thoroughly disappointed in their customer service and in the lack of professionalism I encountered with the owner. Never again. read more

I brought in a letterman jacket to have patches sewn on. The jacket was ready within a week and all patches seem very secure. When the HS employee was pinning the patches on the jacket, I didn't realize that the slight discrepancies with patch angles would not be corrected by the seamstress. The jacket had a few patches not centered on arm of the jacket and a few patches were not exactly in line - but I noticed this when the clerk was pinning them on, so I should have corrected it then. Next time, I will make sure patches are lined up EXACTLY as I want it before I leave. The owner is a bit gruff but all in all, my experience was positive. read more

Think twice before coming here, at least for the sewing of patches onto a letterman. Me and an employee there spent time meticulously pinning each of 5 patches on the sleeves, 4 of which were semi-circles and fit together in pairs and a circular patch. I called around the time they said it'd be ready, and after ending the call they called 10 minutes later saying it was ready. I picked it up, and it was clear Kim sewed it last minute and after my call. The circle patch was not aligned even close to accurately with the seam of the sleeve as I requested it, and Kim responded saying that apparently that's how I pinned it so that's how she stitched it. She refused to re-do it, as if it wasn't her job to assume that I wanted it well placed (even though I KNOW I placed it that way). As for the semi-circles, the second two were totally lopsided and in a complete different formation from the two above which they were supposed to mimic. She at least admitted her fault and re-did it, but it of course left holes behind on my sleeves and the stitching was very sloppy, even on the circle patch where she didn't even stitch in a circular motion but in straight lines along the entire edge, occasionally slipping into the middle part of the patch where the design was. She seemed perfectly content with taking my money in exchange for poor, expensive services. Only a blind person would believe that any of those patches were attached with effort and careful craftsmanship, and yet she was willing to let me walk out of her store initially with the crappiest patch job I'd ever seen. I'll be taking my business to Elite Embroidery down the street on 377, I hope y'all do too. read more

BEware of using Kim's Kloset in Keller/Watauga. I used them to sew on my daughter's patches on her Letterman and first, it took months before I got it back. Second, the sew job was horrible and third the name was spelled incorrectly (the I and A were switched). We missed the mistake, they missed the mistake initially but when she finally wore it (got it back mid summer) the error was found. They don't want to own up to their negligence. I did by saying let's split the cost 50/50. If I could turn back the hands of time, I would go ahead and have the company that the school uses to do everything! Scale 1-10.... I give them a 2.5!! She was rude, told me to get out her store, she walked away while I was trying to explain to her my concerns and treated me like a non factor (and I remained calm overall).... I say, find someone else to do your work! Well unless you want a novice product (I can only speak on jackets, patches and the sewing job). read more
