    Menu on 2023 December 24

Very new, still working out kinks. Used to be Sushi Yeoubi and it's not clear if there's any relation. Kim's Bap has a fairly small menu that seems to be authentic. Coincidentally, I met a Korean woman a couple weeks after visiting who told me that the food is not authentic; I will take her at her word. To me, having only passing familiarity with Korean food, the menu did not seem Americanized in the least. And the only seated table was four Asian people in their 20s speaking what might have been Korean. Only 10 menu items, and none sound particularly approachable to someone who isn't open to Asian food. I would not bring my parents here. I love bibimbap and, since cockle bibimbap was the only option, I tried it. Turns out cockles are like clams and are surprisingly good. Not sure I liked it better than tofu or beef, but I really couldn't complain. The kimchi was spicy, the green beans were even spicier, and the other accessories were all nicely done. I was surprised that the meal came with hot and sour soup - it was very good. We also got the galbi (which I expected to see as kalbi; apparently they are interchangeable transliterations), beef short ribs. Tender, tasty, would definitely order again. They also gave us a few mini pancakes. Loved them!

Took my family to this restaurant for the first time. Loved the friendly staff and owner. Food came out presentable; had to take picture of this amazing meal. It was very tasty- Will be back soon!

Authentic food, family run. The menu is simple, so there's no overthinking it. I got bibimbap and my spouse had the bbq ribs. The portions were excellent, and all the small sides were great accompaniments to the main meal. The service was friendly and informative. No frills in the decorations, but an intimate space for great Korean food! We will definitely go back.

Daily special: spicy pork stew & pork bulgogi

Every time I visit here, it feels like being invited to a friend's place. Homey food & atmosphere. Friendly service. This time we had the daily special, which was spicy pork stew. Something you can't find at a typical Korean restaurant.

We came here for a quick lunch and we're not disappointed!…read more We ordered miso soup (it was ok...standard miso soup). The house salads were incredibly crisp and dressing was flavorful. We ordered three rolls: Scorpio roll Orion roll Alaskan roll These were BIG rolls. We liked all three but my fave was...not sure, it was whichever I was eating a piece of at the time. We will definitely be coming back!

I appreciated the picture book menu that spelled things out. Given I'm a Taurus I had to get the Taurus roll. (They have a roll for every star sign). The Taurus was a tempura roll with all the trimmings. And a Shrimp California roll to balance things out. Had some tea - it was regular as opposed to green. And then the miso soup. The soup was standard fare. The rolls came quickly; by then I was the only guest. Both were quite good but the Shrimp California was a real surprise. You can tell when you get quality ingredients served closed to room temp and the rice itself was really great. Service throughout was quick, quiet and kind. 4.5. This maybe my new go to. It seems less expensive than our other favorite and given it's also less busy it might be the better overall choice. I just hope they get more patrons than the night I was there.

We always try to check our food before we leave the restaurant if we carry out since I do not want to drive back, especially if it is far. I could already tell from the look of the food that it would not be my favorite. I ordered three sushi rolls. I checked those first. One, which was larger and not pictured here, was all there. The second, for some reason a smaller roll, also only had one roll. We told the cashier and the chef we were missing a roll. The cashier said to look in the small container, which I had already inspected right in front of her. It was not there. Then she needed to see it, and told me to show her. Then she wanted to see the receipt even though she knew we ordered three, she took the order. Then she asked me which one was missing even though she could see which ones we had and read the receipt. The names of the sushi rolls were so similar, I gave the ingredients of the missing item. Finally, they acknowledged they did not give it to me and had to make it. After going home, I tried the sushi. It was really the worst sushi I have ever tasted and I do not mind gas station or grocery store sushi. The rice was so super sweet, it tasted like pure sugar. The salmon looked like tuna and did not taste great. The larger sushi was about $14 and was not worth the price and the other two rolls were not fresh or delicious. Very disappointing. We also had Pad Thai, curry rice, and Pad See-ew. They were not overly flavorful and the noodles of the Pad See-ew were stuck together, and there were many spots of the rice that did not get mixed into the sauce or seasoning. The leftovers were not too bad, but still, I will not be back. Looking at the other reviews, people do seem to like it here, so I always say try it for yourself, we might have different tastes and opinions.

This is mostly a carry out business with a couple tables. We decided to dine in because it was empty and I wanted to get a feel for the place. Service was outstanding. Not because they weren't busy. They were very busy with take out orders and this one server did it all. She was knowledgeable about the very extensive menu and so personable. More restaurants need waitstaff like this young lady. We don't like MSG and were able to request the food without it. The food was amazing. It had great flavor, portions were plentiful and the pricing was good. This little restaurant also serves sushi. We tried two different rolls and oh boy! It was some of the best sushi we've eaten! The crazy California roll is fantastic. My husband had a spicy tuna roll and customized it by adding fresh jalapeño. We appreciated their flexibility. We are excited to add this little gem to our rotation of restaurants we enjoy.
