My husband gave his Airforce Blues for dry cleaning last month hoping to get it back within a week or two. It has now been more than a month and there's a sign in front of the business saying it will be closed until further notice. Theres no way of contacting them and no updates when it might be opened. It's not just us, there are numerous people around the Biloxi and Gulfport area facing the same issues. We need the uniform back before the 1st of May and theres no sign of them. There should've been some sort of communication from the business updating everyone. If the owner is sick, there should've been someone to make sure people at least get their clothes back. Extremely unprofessional to the point of ridiculous. I'm staying away from this place and warning everyone do the same. read more

I have been dropping off my Blues uniform here for the past few months, and Ursula has been absolutely amazing! Super fast, efficient, and always reliable. I recently had to drop off my blues last minute, and she was able to get them done the very next day. She even stayed past business hours to make sure everyone's orders were completed since they're closed on Sundays. I was able to pick everything up on Saturday without any issues. SHES SO NICE! it only took about 15-20 minutes to shorten my jeans, my mom had pinned them to the right spot so that ms. kim knew how short to cut it. i got about 2 inches off the bottom. it only took about a minute or so to drop off the jeans. when we got them back, it looked so professional! as if we just bought them from a store! and the best part-it was only 10 dollars!! and they had three dogs. i will DEFINITELY come here the next time i consider throwing away some jeans! read more

I brought my Army dress uniform (AGSU Jacket, Pants, Skirt and Ike Jacket) in for alterations. I drove up on a Saturday and walked in and I was assisted right away. The alterations took very little time and I was offered a super quick turn around for pickup. The prices were fair and all of my items were tailored perfectly. Literally of the worst services I have ever experienced at a dry cleaner.... Let alone any business. Back in November I brought in a pair of service dress pants (literally only had worn them twice and they cost me about $100 after alterations) i was first told they would be ready in two days (very reasonable) It was for my graduation of technical training, for 5 consecutive days I went to try and retrieve them, one day at 1200 and another at 1800 even hoping it was due to inconsistent hours. Apparently she was sick and everyday the sign was updated saying she'd be back the next (she was not). I HAD to leave to go back to my home base on the Friday of that week. For months now I have tried calling/ get in contact with no luck and I have sent multiple friends to the location with no luck of getting them back. read more

Turned in a brand-new OCP uniform top for cleaning and sewing of name tape, rank, and Air Force insignia. I attempted to retrieve the item over the course of 4 weeks in which I got inconsistent explanations from the owner, including illness, irregular closures, contradictory claims about whether the item was sent to the cleaner, and ultimately admitting that the item couldn't be found. Her work area is a total mess. Clothes everywhere and totally disorganised. Do not trust your valuables with her. Currently pursuing legal action against the business with the Mississippi AG, Biloxi Police, Harrison County Small claims court, and informing Keesler AFB base leadership to blacklist the business. read more

Its a local small family opened alteration. The price is wayy cheaper than on base and they finish in 1-2 days. They are open late and the quality is good for how much you are paying. They even give me a discount sometimes. read more

Sooo...I needed my uniform in a hurry so I went to Kim around noon and she said she would have it ready for me by 11 the next "no problem". Well I went back at 2 and she hadn't even started it...she said come back in 2hrs and it would be ready...I told here that I didn't live close by and this was becoming an inconvenience, she said "it doesn't matter that you live far away" My girlfriend told them she was going to leave a bad review and the daughter replied "it's ok you are going to pay anyway " we just walked out in shock. Since I don't live close by her shop We did some shopping and driving around...2 1/2 hrs later I called to see if was ready and she said 30 more minutes, her daughter said she would message me when it was done, after another hour I still hadn't heard anything so I called but they didn't answer so I decided to go back to the shop. Upon pulling up to the shop two of her little dogs came up to the door and once of them pooped on the floor. I walked in and they both started yelling at me saying I needed to teach my girlfriend some manners. I said can I just have my uniform please like 10 times but she wouldn't give it to me...after asking several more times she finally let me have it...it looked like a 5 year old kid tried to sew it on, not someone who has been doing it for over 20 years. They kept going on and on about how they were doing me such a huge favor...I told them they were getting paid for their work and that they were being extremely unprofessional, their shop smelled like dog urine and that they shouldn't make promises to customers they can't keep. Kim kept rambling on about her dogs, her husband and in general how she was better than me. Not once did they apologize for failing to get the job done and wasting 6 hrs of my time. I highly recommended you take your business elsewhere, I'm fairly certain that she would have been out of business long ago if her shop wasn't right outside of Keesler Air Force base. Had to come back three separate times over the course of a week and a half before they finished dry cleaning three articles of clothing. They originally told me it would be $15 (it was even written in the Post It note claim ticket) but then proceeded to charge me $18 at pickup. If you want to take a chance of loosing your expensive dress uniform go ahead and take it here for dry cleaning, otherwise a barracks washing machine would be a better choice. And let's be honest, if SNL were going to do a skit about a disorganized dry cleaner who will lose your clothes this would be the set. It looks like a tornado ripped through the place. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES HERE. I brought three sets of abu's here and when I got them back the pant legs were totally uneven I just wanted them fitted I never told them to hem my pants. The quality of the sewing was beyond horrible I brought everything back to get fixed and they seemed surprised that I wasn't happy with their service. I told them to take their time and do it right not. A month passed and I went back only to find out they didn't even start on my abu's and they couldn't find them. Kim told me "you told me to take my time" finally got them back and they were still bad. I refused to even wear those abu's until I can get them fixed. Don't waste your time or money even if it seems like a good deal. UPDATE: I went to another alteration shop to get my abu's fixed and the seamstress said it was probably one of the worst alteration jobs she has ever seen. She didn't want to touch the abu's because they were so messed up. Guess I'm better off getting new ones according to her. :( read more

Tue: Drops off jeans. Please taper to 6". (There's a language barrier, so I get out a tape measure to illustrate). I'm told to pick up tomorrow any time. Wed 2 pm: Pick up jeans, take them home, try them on. Tapered to 8" not 6". Wed 3 pm: Drops off jeans again. Explains they need to be fixed and 6". (We get out a tape measure again). I'm told to pick up tomorrow any time. Thur 3 pm: Arrives to pick up jeans. Can't find them. When they are found, they're not done. Told to come back at 4. Thur 4:30 pm: Arrives to pick up jeans. Still not done. Asked to come back at 5 pm. Thur 5:00 pm: Arrives to pick up jeans. They are done. Take them to car to measure. They are 7" not 6". Goes back in. Asks to have them redone properly to 6". (We get out a tape measure yet again). Goes to wait in car. Thur 5:30 pm: Jeans are finally done to 6" as per first request. I would rather have root canal surgery or chew glass than visit this place again. Terrible attention to detail, didn't listen, totally unorganized, didn't write anything down, didn't give a receipt, didn't give a drop off ticket, over priced. I had to make 5 visits just to get what I originally asked for. I would give -5 Stars if it was possible. read more

I only needed a badge sewn on my ocps and only costed me $3 for it to get sewn on in a few minutes. I don't typically write reviews, but I really want to save others a poor experience. I've had other items altered here, and as others have mentioned, it smells strongly of dog urine, which I wasn't thrilled about. I brought in a pair of pants and a coat over a week ago. I was told to come back Monday, and when I did, still not ready. Her daughter promised me she'd have them done the following day. Went back, and still not done. Time three, I was pretty annoyed, especially whem the pin had cone out of my pants and they had to be re-pinned. Returned today, and my impression was they still weren't done. I may have shown frustration, but I was far from nasty. Her daughter came out, found my things, and as I am being rung up, Kim is behind me saying, "You used to be a nice girl? Why are you so mean now?" The comment definitely bothered me, especually since I felt I was showing great restraint. I left after paying only to realize when I got home that the pins were still in my pants and they had not, in fact, been done. I debated whether to take them back, but I won't be wasting my time returning. It's worth the loss of the funds to not be inconvenienced again or made to feel like a demanding customer because I expect some professionalism. read more

DO NOT take anything you value to this woman to do alterations. She ruined my daughter's wedding dress. I wish I could post pics to show you. Instead of taking it in at the sides and waist she folded and put horazontal darts in the center of the back and sewed the hem line 4 inches above the bottom of the dress. I had to take it to someone for emergency fix since her wedding is in less than a week. She claims she didn't do anything to the dress (since I didn't bring it back to her to fix). Well it was picked up 2 days ago from you and you don't remember it yet you explained that you put the darts in because it was baggy. Well how would you know that if you didn't touch the dress. Horrible service. Very unorganized. I stopped using this place when Kim nearly assaulted me because I voiced my extreme displeasure over having to return three times for my items and each time they were not available. I told one of her "loyal" customers in passing on my way out. The third time I went in to get my items, she had been stewing for a week, threatening me by using her retired husband's rank to attempt to bully me. Very unprofessional. Me and my friend are stationed at Keesler AFB and needed some ABU's altered, we showed up and gave her the uniforms on a Monday and they even offered to have them done the next day. However we didn't need them until the week after so we said this Friday would be perfect that way there's no rush. We show up Friday just for the place to look even more overloaded with clothes than before and the older lady in there yelling at us about there's no way she has time to finish our uniforms. Don't bother going here if you're in the military or need any alterations done in general unless you want to wait an extra couple of weeks. Lastly she has a little dog that wanders around and pees all over the place so the smell is bad enough to wear you'll smell it on your clothes days following. read more

I go in and ask the lady if she can fix it, she asks for it and fixed it there and then no charge. Since then I've been back one time for an alteration. It was ready for me the next day, I didn't even have to fill out the paper with your name phone etc...? not sure why....i must be one handsome memorable guy....ha... more like one super Ugly MF..... also noticed a few signed photos on her wall from Air Force Personnel stating how much they appreciate her work.. She also had a letter from the commander. I'll be back. There's a reason this place is 2 stars. For example, I took my dress whites and two suits here on a Saturday and was told they would be ready in a week and cost about 32 dollars total. When I returned they were right on the counter where I had left them. And had not even been touched. I was then told that they would be ready in a few days. I called a few days later and couldn't understand Mrs Kim at all over the phone. So I drove all the way there and picked up my clothes, did a quick look over and was charged 48 dollars, a week late and 16 dollars more expensive, how does that work out? When I got home I found there were burn marks on my dress whites and my suits had wrinkles in all kinds of places. I have gone here on other occasions where I had to have things re done because they were done incorrectly the first time, but this time is the reason I will not be returning. read more

I highly discourage anyone from utilizing this business. Although I read the reviews beforehand (which were mostly negative), I still wanted to give her (Kim) a chance hoping I wouldn't be disappointed. Unfortunately, the negative reviews were absolutely spot on and I was frustrated as well as disappointed with the whole experience. I wasted so much time and gas going back and forth for 3 dresses and 2 military uniform pants that only needed to be hemmed since they were all just a little too long for me. I specifically said no elastic or tapering at on my uniform pants. Dropped my garments off on a Thursday afternoon, was told to come anytime the following Monday. Come Tuesday afternoon, I walked in to see my 3 dresses bunched up on a table under other people's items, they were untouched (straight pin that was put on there from the day I brought them in was still on one of them). Asked for my uniform pants, took awhile for her to find them (which is a bit nerve wracking) only to see that they both had ELASTIC sewn on them!!! I explained to Kim at that moment that I didn't need any elastic, just shortened a little bit and hemmed. She tells me to come back later that day (Tuesday) but I explained that I couldn't so I took my dresses and left my 2 uniform pants since she said she'll fix them right away. Come the following Thursday, I go in and asked for my there pants. Just like the previous visit, figuring out where they were took some time. One pant is hemmed but not shortened and the other still has the elastic in it that should've been corrected the prior Tuesday. Another lady (never got her name) said she was the one who originally put the elastic on my pants based on assumption. Then said she'll remove the elastic at that moment. So I waited patiently while she did that and can kinda hear her saying things out loud but the volume on their tv was so loud it was really hard to understand anything. Plus, the dog in there kept barking. After she was done, I told her that I just want my pants back so I can leave. She gives me my pant (I have the other one), I didn't care to inquire if I owed anything, and as I walked out, I mentioned that "I wasted so much time here." That same lady just says "bye" after she says other things I couldn't make out. There we're never any calls to confirm anything or to say there would be any delays whatsoever. Please save your gas and the huge headache you'll probably develop from their extremely disorganized and disregarding service. I highly encourage you to go elsewhere. read more

Showed up the next day and was told to come back at 6pm, called back at 430pm to see if they were possibly done early. Was told they would be done the next day. Went back the next day at lunch and was told to come back in two hours. Went back the day after and they were finally done, or so I thought only to see they had placed an elastic band in the pants which I did not ask for. This place is absolutely horrible. Place was at a very convenient location and price was at a decent price. The only thing is that they would tell you a schedule for pickup and your stuff won't be ready. I came in two times to pickup my uniforms and they were not ready. I went the first time (they told me it'd be ready by this time) and it wasn't ready so I thought maybe they're just busy. Then I went the second time when they told me to come back and it still wasn't ready. Just very inconvenient and a waste of taxi/gas money and time. read more

Over three weeks ago I took a brand new lightweight ABU top to Miss Kim's Alterations and Dry Cleaning to get fitted and my new stripes put on it, along with a few other tops. When I picked up that top a few days later the sleeves were about four inches too short. I took it back immediately and was assured that it would be fixed the next day. When I returned I tried it on and the sleeves were still too short. She actually told me to only keep my arms at my sides, but it was still too short. I was told she would replace it for me in one week. I returned that Sunday and Miss Kim didn't recognize me or know what I was talking about. When she finally remembered, she said that she had been too busy that weekend and to come back again the next week. I came back the next week and was greeted again with no recognition. When Miss Kim finally remembered she smacked her head and promised that it would be ready the next week, this week. Today I went back for the third week in a row and again she didn't recognize me or remember what I had come for. When I reminded her, this time she showed no remorse and simply said that she didn't have time and that I should come back in two days. But this time I said no! I asked for them to pay me 30 for the top and to give me the stripes. Miss Kim told me that I didn't even give her a chance and that I was being unreasonable and expecting too much of people, she said that I had something to wear so it shouldn't matter that this one top wasn't done. Her daughter handed me the top and the money with no problem and Miss Kim freaked out, saying that I was stealing the top, and to call the police. Finally I told them that all I wanted was the stripes, because I bought them, and they finally gave me a set of stripes along with the 30 dollars. Holy drama! I'm never going back there. read more

These ladies are amazing. All she did was put one needle in my top and then my top and pants come back perfect. Only problem is a lot of strings but that's with anything you'd get tailored, of course. And it's all very well priced so I've got no complaining. I brought it yesterday and when j checked today to see if they were done, they said no, but were willing to drop it off on base to me, no extra cost. Kim is a very sweet lady who does excellent work. I have been going there since moving to Biloxi in 2006. She patiently handles my fashion emergencies and never overcharges me. I am glad I found her, and I wish I could take her with me when I move later this year! I may have to FedEx my clothes to her. lol. read more
