my daughter is getting married in 2 weeks June 29th. I ordered my dress online. I order a size 12 even though I wear size 10 but I am very top heavy in sent my measurements in with the order. When I received my dress in the mail it look like and fitted like a size 12. I went online to search for someone in my area that could do alternations. I found Ms. Chris. I picked up my dress today. When I tell you my dress fits perfectly is an understatement. Ms Chris is amazing in very very reasonable. My dress is made up of lace beads and satin material. Thank you again Ms Chris. I dropped my military uniforms off and she finished them in less than 24 hours. Everything was done right. Very polite. Good prices.

Chris is the ONLY person that I will let do any alterations for me. She is extremely flexible, professional, and does good work.

This place is the ABSOLUTE worse! I brought in my military uniforms just to get some name tapes sewn on and when I recieved my uniforms back the stitch pattern looks like it was done by a 8 year old kid. I would think again before going here. I used this company for the first time because a few of my clothes were too big around the waist, and it was a less than pleasant experience. First, when I walked in I wasn't greeted, then, my garments took 2 weeks to get back to me. I had to go up there and call more than once to see if my garments were ready. When I finally retrieved them, 2 of my garments were too small (that was not how they were when the lady was pinning). Now I have to go and buy new items and get them altered elsewhere. I called this place to see if they could remove the zipper from the back of my wedding gown and add the corset back. The corset back exists of ribbon and one piece on the inside of the dress to keep the bear back from showing. I would think that if these people knew what they were doing they would have told me, "sure come on in and we'll fix it up for you". Instead they told me to go online to some place called Lacey corsets.com and order the corset and they will put it on my wedding gown. The corsets on this website are lingerie. I would think that if someone doesn't know what they're talking about, they would just say no they can't do it but instead I will give her credit for at least checking with her mom to see if they did this kind of work. But they don't because they were going to take a piece of lingerie and put the back of the corset on to the back of my wedding gown which would not have been right. read more

Great work, quick service. Not sure what others are complaining about. My experience was great. Walked in got my shirts fitted and pinned. Got a call three days later telling me they were ready. The work was very good and professional. I will definitely return when I have clothes that need alterations. read more

I went to Alterations By Chis last month. When I arrived, there was a sign on the door that said, "Be right back." After standing by the door for only 2-3 minutes, a car parked beside mine. A woman and children got out. The woman came to the door, unlocked it, walked in, and left the door open for the kids to follow her. She didn't say one word to me and saw me standing there holding my garments. I was only about three feet away from her as she unlocked the door. I almost left then but decided to go in to see if she could redeem herself AND help me. I walked in and she looked at me as if she was upset that I actually had the nerve to walk into this place of business. Without a greeting and certainly not a smile (which a smile is not necessary for me), she asked if she could help me.....in a VERY unfriendly voice. Needless to say, she couldn't. She needs some extensive customer service training. If I behaved that way at my job, which I never would because I treat others the way I want to be treated, I'd lose my job. Yelp made me choose a star, if I could, I'd give it no stars. read more
