Dr. Matt is wonderful. I have had pain in my hip (bursitis) for many years. Along with back pain. I was getting cortisone injections in my hip, and they no longer worked. As a retired military veteran, the military lifestyle takes a huge toll on your body. I have suffered from neck, back pain, and other areas as well. Throughout my time in service and post military time I have seen numerous doctors just to get prescribed medication and/ or get referred to physical therapy while seeing little to no results. Incredible Pain relief! I went in with constant pain in glutes, hip, and low back. I felt like someone was just pressing a nerve 24/7. My sleep was broken. Mat is a true professional. I was impressed on how well he knows the human body. He introduced me to Strain counterstain therapy. I was diagnosed with Bells Palsy (facial paralysis) about 8 months ago. I was told by other doctors that there's no cure and everyone deals with this disease differently. It's pretty much a waiting game on when it heals. I'm about 80% back to normal but recently I've had cramps in my jaw and neck when smiling, laughing and yawning. Mat administered this unique therapy last week and the cramping hasn't returned. I was a little skeptical in the beginning of the session. Mat is very informative and well versed as he scans your body for imperfections. And No, it's not like a cat scan or anything like that. Actually there are no tools or machines involved. I had surgery and Matt came to help with PT to aid recovery. I did not need him much for PT exactly but what it turns out that I did need was help with lowering my blood pressure. I called him back two months later for help with lowering my blood pressure. I can't exactly tell you what he did, but the osteopathic therapy he did has been enormously helpful in keeping my numbers at a manageable level. Matt is amazing!! He seems incredibly knowledgeable in his field. He uses a unique technique called strain- counterstrain that truly provides relief in many different ways. I have had chronic GI issues for over two years now and have been going through an extensive detox program but I have problems with lymphatic drainage which leads to many uncomfortable symptoms including nausea, abdominal pain and tenderness, headaches, dizziness and anxiety. I have tried many other resources to relieve my symptoms with little improvement. Matt, however was able to use his technique to improve the tenderness I had and within a couple days my GI symptoms had improved as well as my anxiety.
