I love…read morehow the workout & coach Rose always challenges me to give it my all and always pushes me to my limits. Found BBX through groupon and it's the best purchased I ever did! That was a year ago and I'm still going 3-4x a week. I'm so hooked and addicted. Love how it transformed my body and gave me definitions. BBX is for all levels of fitness from beginners to experienced. It will take a few classed to know the moves and once you get them you can't help but to give it your all and you'll find yourself always taking your workout to the next level and wanting to push yourself. First class if free... There's no reason not to try it out. NOTE: take the form workshop when it's available...you'll see how it will take your workout to the next level plus it will help you know the moves and learn about AMR (applied muscle resistance)

PRICE: I bought a decently priced Groupon for BBX and continued to go for several months. Though…read moreI don't go anymore, gotta give BBX a shoutout! THE WORKOUT: You will NOT get this on the first try. This is like a Zumba type dancing class where there are names for each move and they string along each of the different moves into a routine. The moves are renditions of cardio kickboxing moves. RESULTS: I personally didn't lose weight doing BBX ( i'm pretty thin already), but it was DEFINITELY good cardio and there are a lot of squatting moves which made my legs burn the next day. CLASS ATMOSPHERE: The atmosphere is really positive, a lot of Latinas who really know how to move (i'm asian..we don't move that well...) Low key, people wear T-shirts and target workout pants. WHY I DON'T GO ANYMORE: They repeat the "routine" with the same song for like an entire month, so you can see improvement...but eventually this gets boring for me. TIPS: If you feel stupid doing Zumba...I would think twice about doing this. But overall if you can just let yourself be silly and have fun its a great burst of cardio during the week!

UPDATE (June 2026):…read more I felt it was time to update my review. A little over a year ago, after surviving cancer, I made the decision to come back to Jazzercise. Looking back now, it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have never been so proud of myself. The difference in how I feel is incredible. My stamina, strength, energy, and overall health have improved beyond what I thought was possible. Family, friends, and even acquaintances constantly tell me how amazing I look and ask what I've been doing. The compliments are wonderful, but even better is how strong and confident I feel inside. I truly owe so much of this transformation to Jazzercise. The workouts are fun, energizing, and never feel like a chore. Of course, there are days when it's challenging to get up and keep the commitment, but every single time I walk out of class, I am grateful that I showed up. That feeling afterward is priceless. All the instructors are amazing, encouraging, and motivating. Most importantly, the love and support I receive from my Jazzercise family is unbelievable. They have cheered me on through every step of my journey and have become such an important part of my life. If you're looking for a workout that strengthens your body, lifts your spirit, and surrounds you with a supportive community, Jazzercise is it. I am living proof that it's never too late to start--or start again.

Everyone is really nice and Ana makes it a point to include everyone. After trying multiple Zumba classes in Orange County, her classes are up there. Songs are always new and it doesn't feel like it is scheduled playlist, kind of more on the fly and organic. Please check out this studio if you can. It's located pretty close by the 5 Freeway and there's plenty of parking around. It's kind of hard to find your first time, but it's located in the lyceum village.

I easily get bored and I got bored of Hotworx so yesterday (12/29/25), I went to the gym to cancel my membership and I was surprised that I was not allowed to cancel it without the owner's approval. It was shocking because I had never heard of such a policy. Jordan, the trainer and employee there stated that every cancellation has to go through the owner, Michael first. I asked her why. She said she didn't know why. She took down my name and phone number and said Michael will call me. So, I waited until 4:00pm on Tuesday, December 30th and I called Jordan. She apologized again and said he was busy and that she would message him again. I then told Jordan that I felt that these practices are unethical and I should be allowed to cancel my membership. She then apologizes again and says he will call me today. Previously when I cancelled my membership, I had to pay a fee to cancel. Now, they are trying to prevent you from canceling all together. I am writing this review as documentation for my credit card company too. Jordan said my credit card will not be charged but I don't believe her. Nothing is in writing. The gym is a nice concept but they make you jump through hoops to cancel your membership. Also, you can't even cancel electronically, you have to come in person.
