I used Andrade Tree Service in 2025 for tree removal and pruning. The basic tree cutting and…read morepruning was fine, though it required heavy oversight on my part and multiple follow-up visits to get the root removal completed correctly due to communication issues between the owner and the on-site crew. I was forced into the position of being the site supervisor despite a language barrier with the crew and having to repeatedly follow up to get the work done as agreed, and a section of my wood fence had to be taken down multiple times, causing wear and tear. Because they got the job done at a reasonable price, I tried giving them another chance this year and requested an estimate. Santiago came out to the house for a walk-through, and I followed up by email with a detailed scope of work for a yard project that needed old soil, a concrete block, tree roots, and shredded tires removed and replaced with new topsoil. They never provided the price estimate. I sent several follow-up emails over a months time, including a final direct request a few days ago asking if they were interested in the project. I have been completely ghosted and received zero response. If you need straightforward tree removal and pruning, they can do the job, but you may have to micro-manage the work if the job requires things done a specific way or custom instructions (in my case, roots removed to a specific agreed upon depth). Reliable communication and professional on-site project management were lacking and made the experience more stressful than necessary. For all my future tree removal and pruning needs, I will be using locally based McKinney Brothers Tree Service instead. Their pricing is just as competitive, and their superior communication makes them the better option.

I just wanted to take time out to praise the excellent work of Nick Rose and his business partner…read morefrom Rose Landscaping and Construction.  They did an absolutely amazing job of transforming our backyard from weeds and dirt to a lawn of beautiful Kentucky Bluegrass.  They also put in an eye-pleasing pine mulch bed under our evergreen trees where he felt grass would be difficult to survive.  Granted we have a small backyard but they were able to do this work in just two business days.  Nick is very honest in what his service can and can't provide.  He has a great, relaxed personality and the prices were reasonable.  Early on, he told me that he was shooting for the last week in April to get the work done and he was right on target.  I'm sure others have had great experiences with Rose Landscaping and Construction too, so please feel free to chime in.  Obviously I highly recommend Rose Landscaping and Construction.  You just can't go wrong, believe me. Acorn Tree and Landscaping worked on my property this past week and did an amazing job! I had…read moreovercrowded beds with large mature plants (some over 12 feet tall), some struggling plants due to improper planting and over-mulching. Sean, the owner, sent over Dan and his team to work on it. With an incredible eye for detail and his knowledge of plant material, Dan quickly went to work on relocating plants and choosing new ones to compliment the design. They made sure to plant things properly (not too low to be choked off by their own roots and not kept in their burlap or metal cages), which has happened in the past with other companies. Additionally, my front walkway was shifting and sinking (after only 5 years because another landscaper installed it using improper base material). Matt repaired it so it now lays completely flat and level. The property now looks like a completely different home! It has interest, color and a well-designed layout. I couldn't be happier! From the first phone call with Sean, planning with Dan and watching the team work so efficiently, I have been very pleased with the quality of service and plant material they have provided. They are experienced (30+ years in business) and their knowledge of plant material is extensive, as they are MA certified arborists and MA certified horticulturalists. They answer their calls and treat their customers respectfully. I highly recommend them! -Lola
