Pain wasn't a major issue but it was certainly uncomfortable and eating was problematic. After calling a couple of places that couldn't see me for days/weeks, I got an appt w/Dr. Raab for the following morning. I knew the molar needed to be pulled but was more than a little nervous about being able to get an appt so quickly. All fears were unfounded, Dr. Raab was calming and professional, the tooth was pulled quickly and without pain (I'm a self-admitted wuss when it comes to dental stuff) - I didn't even feel the anesthetic injection. Since the procedure, I've had neither pain nor swelling and the site quickly stopped bleeding. Later in the day, I received a follow up call from Diane to ask how I was doing and to emphasize the correct follow-up care. If I lived locally, I would continue to come here for all my dental needs. I had a billing issue that was eventually resolved amicably. The other thing was that I met a friend and his wife in the waiting room. We soon realized his wife and I both had 8:00 appointments with Dr. P. She was called in at 8AM. I was called in at 8:20. One assistant denied that a double booking had occurred. She waved a USB cable at me and said I was called in late because of an "equipment shortage". When I checked out a front desk rep also denied a double booking until I gave her the name of the other 8:00 patient. She belatedly fessed up to the double booking. The ironic thing was that when I left the previous appointment (where there was no waiting) the front desk sold me on the 8:00 time for the next appointment on the premise that there would be no waiting. A good place for dental care but take something to read when you go.
