I am so glad that I found this oral surgery office, to summarize as a great atmosphere and a team of awesome professionals. A completely opposite experience that I had 2 weeks ago with "the other" local surgeon, where I was originally referred to. Highly recommended and I will be sharing this feedback with my dentist for future referrals.

I was leaving in three weeks for a two week cruise and expected to have surgery prior to my trip, I was wrong. I took them 6 to 7 weeks to get approved for surgery, ruining my vacation, them blaming it on my general physician not getting them my records in a timely manner, when my physician stated the records were sent within 48 hours of receiving request. after 7 weeks of pre approval for surgery, trying to schedule an appointment was near impossible. working out of state weekly and for security reasons could not carry a cell phone, Calling the office to schedule an appointment, I could never get someone to pick up, only option was to leave a message. Call backs came at the end of the day or next day, obviously missing the call. When every once and a while someone did pick up, and I requested to schedule surgery, I was told it was another office that did the scheduling, so I was put on hold going past the point of time allowed, 30 to 40 minutes, disconnected twice, told the woman who scheduled took the day off or was not in yet, past opening office hours. As a working professional out of state, I am booked six months out with travel arrangements working at large fortune 500 companies with big money and a careear at stake, I was limited to the days I could be available. I picked several days where I had flexability to change my travel dates to make myself available for surgery. On every instance, "3" where did get thru the front office then to the scheduler, every option day I requested was not an option for the surgeon, so in April 2023 they could not accommodate me in either June or July. It became apparent the office policy had no policy or concern for an emergency situation. I want to be clear, I have had no negative contact with personnel, just the lax tendencies toward my condition and situation. After over three months the only choice I have is to start the procedure to find another oral surgeon and start from square one.

My dentist had given me a list of oral surgeons. I chose this one because it was the closest to me. I was very confused because this place is listed under many names, same address. When I called, the name that came up was 'Shore Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery' at 17 White Horse Pike, Suite 8 in Haddon Heights. When I searched for it online, there were several different names under that exact address. Anyway, I also had to reschedule my appointment (twice) and actually had no problem at all. When I finally got to the appointment, I found the office very clean and the receptionist was friendly. I didn't wait too before going back, and the dental assistant who took me back was very friendly. The surgeon came in and was nice, just a low talker, so I didn't quite catch his name lol. He did another xray. Then he hit me with what felt like 50 needles to numb me. That was the worst of it all. He finished pulling them in no time. The assistant came back in with my gauze and instructions. She even told me that it's a good idea to show the dentist a picture of my natural teeth. I'm reading these reviews and would never have gone there if I'd read them prior to my procedure. I've had better oral surgeons, but since this was a very cut and dry procedure, it went well.

They would send the referral and xrays. He was just rude and impatient. When I went to go hang up I said this place is ridiculous and when I called him back he claims I cussed him out. No dude now ur getting cussed out I'll show you the difference. He needs a new line of work.

0 STARS!!!.....This "dental office" is a used car dealership. I went in for a regular cleaning…read more(paying cash out of pocket). They immediately attempted to ameliorate the bill with upgrades as soon as I sat in the chair. I have FULL X-rays that are only 18 months old, guess what? According to the mouth mechanics there I needed "new basic ones" Even more comical, the regular normal cleaning I was scheduled for was "only going to do harm" and I needed a upgrade to a "deep" cleaning to handle my disease ravaged mouth and gums for an additional $200 dollars. Finally, and most hilarious, they refused to give me a normal cleaning and stated I can make another appointment at another time for that special "deep" cleaning. (FUN FACT** I am 40 years old with not one single cavity or any advanced dental procedures in my entire life) Do you, your family, your better spent time in a professional dental office and your wallet a great service and resolve to pass on this mouth mechanic garage. My girlfriend has been a "customer" for several years, she was appalled at how I was treated today. As a result, she will be canceling all future appointments. We will be contacting Dr Paul Goodman in Pville with hopes of scheduling something soon with a real professional.

I called this morning just at 9am and spoke with what I believe was one of the assistants and she was so pleasant and understanding of my situation. I also explained that I have horrible anxiety from 2 conditions that I have, and she understood and assured me it was OK (I have Fragile X Syndrome and Epilepsy, so I have HORRIBLE anxiety; Crippling anxiety) .... She told me to come right in (asking a few questions first) and I was taken in by Dr Kimball (pretty sure of his name, I was in pain) and WOW was I treated great. I again explained by conditions and he was extremely understanding and gentle. ... The entire process went smooth, and I can NOT thank them enough for understanding my issues and working around them (I have autism like symptoms from the Fragile X Syndrome and the Epilepsy) .. Overall, a WONDERFUL, GENTLE experience with wonderful, caring people. Thanks so much!!
