I was lucky enough to get an apartment here when the second building was finished years ago. This is the absolute best apartment I have ever lived in! Seriously the best I've ever found. I'm on the waitlist to move back in because the apartment was gorgeous! Very well built and I absolutely adored the basement bathroom with the tiles and very large shower! This time around I'm disabled so different unit number to get the handicap accessible unit like my aunt and uncle had next door! Both apartments had big rooms, a private garage and besides when the baby next door would scream and my baby would yell back at them for waking her up I never heard my neighbors. Don't. Just don't. If you're a single guy who is really handy, you've got a chance. Your Amazon purchases will be misdelivered. Owner lives an hour away, only comes to pick up checks (no clue whet he actually lives). He refuses to call professionals for repairs. Jimmy- rigs anything he can. Does not clean carpets between tenants and no matter how good a tenant you are, you will not get any of your security deposit back. Does not have legal leases. Landlord refuses to address the broken furnace, went an entire winter without it going above 50 degrees. There was no A/C, the unit was about 90 during the summer. Neighbor grabbed every piece of furniture they could find, unfortunately, brought in bedbugs and the landlord refused to do anything about that. Walls are thin, you can hair everything your neighbors say and do.... He is hard to find and the office is never opened. It is as if he deliberately hides from responsibilities a landlord has. He also loves increasing rent with barely a notice. I would avoid this place. The cost is too high for the neglected unit you get. read more
