Backstory: my father passed away a couple weeks ago after a devastatingly short (one month) battle with pancreatic cancer to which there was no meds or treatments to offer. My siblings and I are obviously mourning while trying to settle dads estate and continue our own professional lives. At first we couldn't bare the emotions of even stepping foot in our dads house, so we decided to sell it. So I posted his mobile home for sale for 3k on craigslist. Roger contacted me and said the home was for his daughter. This was on Tuesday. He wanted to meet up and buy the home that day. I told him no, as I was leaving out of town the very next day for an advanced conference full of non stop lecturing and that I would be unavailable. So we agreed on Saturday. Friday morning my siblings let me know that they decided they wanted to keep dad's house awhile longer and flip it themselves. When I let roger know that was the plan, he began to use vulgarities and calling names. I was shocked, as he was well aware that my father just passed and that we were all still grieving. Come to find out, he owns a business selling used mobile homes (I was given a sob story about his daughter needing a home). A good salesman would've offered a bit more than 3k if making the deal meant that much to him. All in all, I'd avoid this guy. He has no problem lying and from the behavior he exhibited, I'd say he is an emotional ticking time bomb.

These points are just the beginnings of my lack of enjoying living here. Rent has gone up to the point I can't afford. There is no enforcement of rules. Dogs in the neighborhood bark all the time. With complaints there is no follow through. Personally, I don't believe dogs should live in a trailer park. There is no place for them to be exercised and have a yard to be in. You must take 100% responsibility for your animals. The office staff have called me about a friend of mine living with me. When he moved in we put him on the paperwork at the office. Ten years later I was called because I had a person living here that shouldn't be. We said look at your paperwork. They finally left us alone. The office doesn't take time to look at office paperwork and files. I would never encourage anybody to live here. After 20 years I want to leave. This is not a good place to be

Since then, the communication has been absolutely horrible and unprofessional, not only from him but from Maria Gherman as well! After signing the contract, it was difficult to get a hold of Fran ( I guess his job was done so he didn't care). He told me that the next steps after signing the contract are dealt with by Maria and / or Melanie. No one, Absolutely NO ONE, had made contact with me since signing the contract, with the exception of taking pictures that was done mid January! I had reached out many times to check on the status of things but I got no response. Febuary and March go by with no communication (except for me calling many times and Maria finally telling me the house is on the market). That's it, and that was early February...nothing since then! No one discussed the price, nothing. They listed it for $25,000 more then discussed..never sold. Part of the contract included EzHomes paying our March mortgage payment for the house under contract. The only reason it was mailed was because I had to call and email 4 times! I contacted Maria the very beginning of March regarding this. She told me on March 6th that the check would be mailed out Monday, the 9th. I received nothing that week, I had to then call and email her again since it was never sent when she promised! She said her boss was on vacation and that he arrived back in the office office on the 12th and will sign it and be mailed out the same day. I responded and asked her to please over night it, and also inquired about the delivery method, again...she never responded at all!!! It was NEVER mailed on the 12th. It was postmarked on the 14th, and I received it on the 16th! It was considered late with my bank! Maria never even bothered telling me that her boss was on vacation and it wont be mailed out until he gets back. So, that whole time, we were expecting it. In between that time, I left Maria 2 voicemails and sent her two emails, she NEVER responded to either of them. I contacted Melanie yesterday morning, she said she was surprised Maria never got back to me and said her phone is working and calls are being transferred. Melanie also told me she will try to have Maria contact me..again no response from Maria. I had to call again today! Melanie sounded surprised that after 5 attempts to contact her, Maria never got back to me. I tried to touch base periodically since January about the status of things. After the pictures were taken, we heard absolutely nothing! I even took out a loan for $10,000 to pay our home equity off because it was considered a lean on the property and I knew we couldn't close with EzHomes with that home equity on the loan. Also, I had a tenant in my house that was scheduled to leave in February, but wanted to know if it would be ok to extend it out. I called Maria to run it by her to make sure it wouldn't delay anything. After several attempts to reach her, she finally responded back saying it wouldn't delay settlement to have her stay for a few more weeks as long my tenant was cooperative and let people in who need to be there to proceed with the sale. That would have been a great time for her to talk to me about the status. However, she did not! So, now my tenant is gone ( losing income) and Maria JUST TODAY called me ( ONLY because I had to call Melanie 2 x and leave 4 messages via email and voice mail for Maria) to tell me, 2 WEEKS BEFORE we are scheduled to close, that her boss decided not to pursue the sale. This is all being communicated to me 2 WEEKS before closing! I even asked Maria if we could talk about negotiating the purchase price so it would benefit them more. She sounded like she didn't even want to entertain it. We are sorry we wasted 3 months with EzHomes. I emailed the OWNER of the company, Jim Zaspel and he never bothered replaying either. In the future I will be sure to note this experience to others.

There's Music, lots of food and goodies, Games for the kids with prizes and a huge raffle. It's always a fun time and chance to see everyone together.

Pricing is all over the road map, was told $150.00 to crawl under our home and do estimate that goes towards the cost of the work if you get it done, was actually only charged $95.00 but the second group that came out to do the work, did their very best but did tell me the first crew out there that did the estimate should have completed the work while they were under there for the $95 they charged me for an estimate and said that they in good faith and conscience could not charge me more for what should've been done by the first guys that were out there! Because of their honesty I tipped them $20 to buy lunch! The person who called me representing the owner did sound very concerned with my experience and did send the best crew they had out here to re-review my situation.
