The samples given at the planning meeting for our initial choice of pasta bar was obviously the cheapest possible jarred Alfredo and meat sauce for the spaghetti and Alfredo. We decided to give it another chance and payed about 2-3 dollars more per person for a 150 person venue to get the bourbon glazed chicken and brisket with au jus. Neither looked appetizing, neither could be cut with a knife due to how tough and dry they were. The brisket could've passed for unseasoned beef jerky, and the chicken was just a frozen grilled chicken breast. The sides were okay, canned green beans, which I was okay with but my wife was expecting a little more. Seasoning or anything would've been nice. The mashed potatoes were nothing to write home about. The rolls were sister Schubert's frozen rolls which are impossible to mess up so at least there's that. Service was good, the only reason this place even deserves the minimum one star allowed.

(Better than the priciest hotel on the Eastern Shore.) Punctual! No drama. Our servers were extremely helpful, with smiles. Brunch was delicious! Yummy Breakfast Quiche and cheese grits. High quality taste. Set up well. Service, the best! Mr. Naman is always kind. The sales lady was patient and informative. Nice menu selection and variety. Breads, delicious. Never ran out of food or drink! Guests raved at how delicious the brunch was. I highly recommend. I would definitely consider Naman's for a wedding reception. They will travel and cater to the Eastern Shore. Thank you, Namans!

I've passed this place 1,000 times and never noticed it until the other day. I had been craving…read moresome good home cooking and the side of the building boasted about daily specials. I looked up their Facebook and, sure enough, they post the daily specials on there. That particular day it was chicken pot pie, so I turned around. Upon arriving, I noticed this really cool wooden bench to use while waiting for to-go orders. Unfortunately, it's right under the window where the afternoon sun beats down on your back while you wait. There was also a shelf that housed cute little China teapots and cups, which diners were using at their tables. It was pretty fancy considering they have plastic outdoor chairs and vinyl tablecloths on the tables. When it was my turn to order, they were out of chicken pot pies, so I ordered the daily soup special of tomato bisque. None of the sandwiches on the menu looked that appealing to go with my soup, so I asked if they had anything like a grilled cheese. She gladly offered to make me a grilled cheese with bacon sandwich. I ordered a side of blackberry cobbler and a scoop of ice cream, and an iced tea. I almost fainted when she rang me up and told me $19.95! $20 for a grilled cheese and tomato soup and a dessert? Are you kidding me? Nope! It was good, and I'm pretty sure the bisque was made from scratch, but nothing was good enough to justify the price. I did see some of the pot pies and they looked fantastic. Those were only $9. I will probably go back, but if they're out of the daily special, I'll politely thank them anyway and leave.

When I say it's not much to look at, I mean it's a hole in the wall that you'd probably pass without second thought. I certainly would have if I didn't have such strong recommendations! The menu is pretty basic: sandwiches, salads (fruit and lettuce based), yellow bagged Lays chips, canned sodas and tea. We came for the Monday special: Cuban sandwiches (that was the whole reason for our trip out here), but I looked over the menu anyway. I didn't see anything that looked special enough to get; turkey and Swiss, Muffaletta, fruit salads. All stuff I probably could make at home, especially since I overheard they use pepperidge farm bread on some sandwiches. With that in mind, I got the Cuban. It was good! Turns out it's the Monday special because the owner spends the weekend smoking the pork for the sandwiches. I think the ham was store bought and prepackaged. Either way, it didn't matter. The sandwich was great, especially with the white mystery sauce. I'll probably stop back by if I am in the area!
