We can't say enough great things about Sean. He was our very first real estate agent who helped navigate the first-time home buying process and he was great to work with!! You can tell that he loves his job and is a hard worker! He brings his A-game on and had our best interest in mind always. He urged us to put in an offer that was most comfortable to us and within our budget. With Sean's help, we were able to buy a house sooner than later and we will definitely work with him again if we have to sell/buy anytime in the future. We recommend Sean to anyone without a thought. He is an excellent agent and a friend for life! read more

Kim and her team are so knowledgeable, open, and kind. It's hard to overstate the winning combination of competence, expertise, and warmth. As soon as my husband and I met with Kim, Sean, and Andre, we knew they were the perfect team to help us buy our first home. Later when changing personal circumstances forced us to put our plans on hold, they immediately responded with understanding and graciousness. We can't wait to work with them again when we're ready to buy. read more

I highly recommend Kim and Andre! We had been searching for our first house for MONTHS and finally decided to switch from our old realtor to Kim and Andre. Within a month we were in contract on our home! Immediately after our first meeting, Kim had us lined up to see 5 houses, all varied, so she could get a clear picture of what we were looking for. When the home we ultimately purchased came on the market, she viewed it immediately, lined up a private showing and advised us to get our offer in ASAP. She guided us through a competitive bidding process and advocated for us. We won the house even though we did do not come in with the highest offer. Thanks Kim and Andre! read more

Wow, what a time to sell a home, in the middle of a pandemic without the ability to hold open houses or show property and ultimately buyers who didn't speak a word of English but yet still were able to demand more and more! Kim did an amazing job, I was able to leave town without worry early on during renovations because of the level of confidence and trust I had in Kim. If I ever had need of an agent in the Bay Area again I would go straight to her for help. She kept me under control , brought calm to chaos and got the job done under extreme circumstances. Thanks Kim! 20438viewpointrd.com read more

Our family moved from Washington to Bay Area in June and Kim (together with his colleague Andre) helped us to find our dream home from Danville (Escrow closed in August). We are extremely happy on Kim's work in all aspects and highly recommend him. We were searching for home from Danville/Pleasanton/San Ramon area and Kim knew the local market extremely well. As we were going through houses, she was always very transparent on shortcomings and told directly if certain house was not a good idea. She was also very responsive and was able to arrange visits with a very short notice. We were bidding against 16 other people for our house. Kim came up with a clever tactic that helped us to win the bid with a reasonable price. During Escrow she linked us with and excellent contractor that helped us to scope re-modelling of the house. Escrow went well and we closed on time. Overall the work and service was excellent throughout the process and we are more than happy. Highly recommend Kim!! read more

Ms. Ott has been wonderful to work with. She has been helpful, informative, and goes the extra mile. We have appreciated all her work!

Kim Ott is THE best realtor EVER! In 1999, she helped me buy my first house. She was so masterful in her local expertise that she gave me the right advice about where to buy so the house would appreciate most quickly. The house I really wanted was out of my price range and so finding one that could appreciate quickly, and more than the rest of the city (Fremont), was critical for reaching my family goals. In four years, I had accrued over 200,000 in value. She helped me sell that home and buy my "dream house" in 2004. This house doubled in value in 15 years. Now at a new place in my life (retirement), Kim helped me sell this house as I head down to Southern California. Her advice about timing of when to sell it, what to do on it (including telling me NOT to spend money because I wouldn't get the return), and how to maximize the timeline was HUGE. My house was "as is" and we sold it within three days with 7 offers to choose from, all over the asking price. Kim is the ONLY realtor I would recommend and recommend I have. People have had the same results following her knowledge, expertise, and excellent negotiation skills. Kim is a Pro's Pro! read more

Kim Ott & Associates - Compass - The sun is setting on this chapter of life, and Kim Ott was that key to making my next steps possible! - Real Estate Agents Near Me - Pleasanton, California

This review is 6 years late. Kim Ott was our buying agent for our old house in 1999, then the selling agent for the same house, and the buying agent for our current house in 2006. She was meticulous, hard working, and very, very well-connected. When we wanted to paint our house for sale, she gave us invaluable suggestions on which paint color to use. She then brought in a staging agent and staged our house so beautifully that we wanted to buy it back ourselves, and she paid for it all herself! As a result, we got several offers very very quickly, and were able to choose a good buyer that wasn't fussy, and had a very very pleasant transaction. As a buying agent, she was good at finding houses that aren't even on the market yet, and showed them to us before they even come on the market. Plus, I love it that she is always accessible and has not changed her cell number in ages because she wants to make sure that all her old clients can still call her with our problems. We were very lucky to find Kim and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a strong real estate agent. read more

I highly recommend Kim and Andre to represent you as your buyer/seller agent. I was impressed by them in representing a seller and decided to go with them to help me to find my home. Kim and Andre are friendly, approachable, responsive and professional. Things are done in a timely manner and no miscommunication during the process. They know what they are doing that I did not have to spend time wondering if things were on track. Trust built quickly shortly after we started looking for house. Despite some challenges, they always remained calm and tirelessly ensured communication continued to flow to all parties. When things did not go well, their characters helped to prevent misunderstandings and drama-free. So glad we found you! Thank you! read more

We were connected to Sean randomly through a listing we were interested in... and a couple of months later we are in a great home in a neighborhood we love! Sean has an awesome network (was able to get our home off market), has solid experience, and is very timely and attentive. Really enjoyed working with him as a first time home buyer! read more

Kim really deserves all these great reviews. She is the hardest working, most detail oriented and professionally savvy agent I have ever worked with. I had to move out of state and needed someone to handle from start to finish the complete sale of my house when I left. I had heard of her thru another reference then I saw these reviews and I contacted another person in my situation. Then I called Kim. We never even met in person, and she did such an awesome job of taking full responsibility for every single thing that was needed and got me a great sale price at the end. Kind of unbelievable in retrospect. She doesn't stop, she doesn't quit, she doesn't give up until it's all done right to her high standards. I'm a picky person and I can tell you: She's the best. read more

Kim did an outstanding job on behalf of our family to prepare our home for sale far exceeding our expectations with a final sale price which was 15% over the original asking price. Through out listing/sale process she demonstrated excellent communication and customer service skills. Her recommended upgrades to our home in preparation for the sale resulted in a very positive outcome. We also worked with Kim several years ago as a buyer to purchase a second home as an investment. She once again demonstrated her expertise and exemplary customer service skills resulting in a home which appreciated in value year over year. We would highly recommend Kim and her team for your real estate needs. read more

Kim and Andre are true professionals. Kim helped us get our home on the market and ready for sale in 3 weeks. She was responsive to all our questions and kept us informed of any changes. She also has a great team of people who helped us with minor fixes and staging. Her honest and clear communication helped everyone stay on track. She also set realistic expectations about timelines and price estimate and we were able to get the price we wanted for our home sale. After our initial meeting with her we decided to use her team for buying our next home as well. Andre helped us through the buying process. Kim and Andre's knowledge and experience helped us see both the potential and pitfalls of the homes we were looking at. I really appreciated their honesty and patience as we went through the buying process. They helped us navigate through some difficult negotiations with the sellers to enable us to purchase our new home. I would highly recommend Kim and Andre for your real estate needs. read more

We have used Kim Ott to buy and to sell property She is fantastic. Kim is a true professional tuning into her clients needs. Kim has a huge list of contacts to get things done. Kim was so creative during this difficult time of Covid 19 instead of waiting for traditional staging to be allowed she found virtual staging so we could get on the market and get sold. Kim walked us though all the offers that came in and guided us to choose the best option. Everything fell perfectly into place. Thank you Kim Ott and team for another great experience. read more

Working with Kim was a pleasure. She is extremely knowledgeable about the real estate market-what buyers and sellers want. We contacted Kim a year in advance of us being ready to sell our Fremont house. She was always available for questions, helped us develop a strategy for updating our home, coordinated with the contractor and handled the details for us. Kim was always professional, her expertise was excellent and the sale of our home couldn't have gone smoother. We would highly recommend Kim to anyone. read more

Alain Pinel's website uses an agent's list heading of "Uncommon People" and this is exactly how I would describe Kim Ott, Realtor. I was in a situation where my house was being auctioned by my mortgage lender. Neither the bank or a 3rd party home save advocacy group would speak with me about the situation (due to poor operations & customer mismanagement). Action to delay the auction of my home appeared to be in my hands. I spoke with attorneys and even contacted my local state representatives' offices for help. I thought I might need a short-sale expert so I contacted a Realtor friend of mine in Marin who referred me to a well-connected woman in her Frank Hart Allen real estate office and I was introduced to Kim. I received an immediate call from Kim who asked me a few questions and then went straight to work using her inside channels at my bank--no guarantees but at least to try and get some answers. She contacted her boss who has "higher up" contacts at my bank. I kept working on my end--pounding away at the bank, senator's office and that 3rd party advocate. Kim explained every, single step; put a strategy together with me, divided the work and even spent over 3 hours on hold with me waiting for a scheduled call with that 3rd party advocate that resulted in nothing but a random disconnection and a customer service rep who did no more than read something from an Internet site. 3+ HOURS: Kim was waiting on hold with me. I told her she could go home after an hour---that she wasn't making any money sitting on hold with me and she said "I don't give up.". Kim, you see, went through a similar situation some years ago. She and I have a lot in common, only I'm going through it now and she's at a different point in this process of starting over. But beyond being able to relate to Kim, I find someone who represents the things that make us (some of us) human: compassion, sympathy, empathy, care and kindness. What makes her a great professional is her knowledge base, experience, honesty, integrity, follow through, loyalty and perseverance. What I think is unusual about Kim is that, in spite of the hit the real estate industry has taken which has brought commission levels down from a Mercedes to a CRV at best, Kim is clearly not driven by greed. She just loves what she does and cares about people and wants to help. Kim deserves your business. I promise you: She will not only earn it; she'll give you added value that borders on what your best friend might do for you. What happened with my home? Well, my personal economic saga continues but Kim was instrumental in getting the bank to grant me a 6-month forbearance (it was a bit of a fluke but it was Kim who stayed on top of them, all the way to the Office of the bank's CEO; keeping me updated the entire time). And as importantly, she took a tremendous amount of worry and stress off my shoulders at a time when I thought I could no longer bear it and needed a witness to see what I view as the insanity of the bank's [lack of] action. I was able to put my focus back on finding employment, caring for my child and tending to my health. God willing, I'll have a job that pays enough in the near future so I may modify my loan and get out of this mess and if not, I know that Kim will partner with me as I determine next steps.... P.S. Once I distance myself from my current crisis, I'll tell you exactly what I think of Bank of America and NACA. read more

I have known Kim Ott for over twenty years. First, she helped me find and buy my starter home. Then, because she helped me find the right home in the right neighborhood, I was able to sell it and move to a bigger home in a better neighborhood to raise my family. Most recently, with her knowledge of the market and keen advice, I was able to sell that home for more than asking price with multiple offers. Finally, she helped me purchase my current home, for under the asking price, where I am settling into the next phase of my life. Throughout every transaction, she provided a personal, professional service that helped me through the process. Kim's extensive knowledge of housing market, professional and dedicated team, and most importantly, personal care, all add up to an amazing realtor who I would highly recommend to my friends, family, or anyone looking for a realtor who they can trust to take care of all of their home buying/selling needs. read more

Kim Ott helped us find the perfect house for our growing family. Kim worked with us over a period of a year while we waited for the perfect one to come along. This is not a typical time frame but we were in a position of patience. We looked at homes in Fremont, Pleasanton, Dublin and Livermore. She has intimate knowledge of the different towns and helped us hone in on the city then the particular borough within which would satisfy our wants and wishes. She was an expert at navigating our multiple offers and counters to strike the perfect balance of credits and price. Once we had an offer in she took the time to create and explain a timeline which detailed the closing process and steps which were happening. This was hugely beneficial and made sure we were aware of everything. Her rolodex of contractors is top notch and called in some of the very best professionals for the home inspection process. They too took the time to investigate and explain their findings, once again reflecting on Kim's professionalism. After the close she provided us with a list of local contractors and tradesmen which was very nice comfort. We would like to say thank you to Kim and hopefully this review will help you find her as your real estate agent. Use Kim as your agent she is very professional and knowledgeable and will work for you and your interests. read more

Kim Ott helped me with finding my first home, I highly recommend her and her staff. Kim knows the real estate market like the back of her hand. She's proactive, she's honest and always responds in a timely manner to any questions that I had. Kim definitely knows what she's doing and I will contact her again when it's time for me to sell or buy another home. read more

I was introduced to Kim when I was in the process of selling my home due to moving out of the state. My home was in pretty bad shape & in need of severe repairs which made me wonder how much I would be able to get for it. I had an idea of what the value may be and after getting an estimate from Kim and another realtor, my estimate was spot on with what Kim had suggested which led me to work with her since she was very upfront and honest right from the get go. The trickiest part with working with Kim throughout the sale of the home was that I had to move away for work almost immediately leaving my mother who was still living in the house to work with her. Kim was amazing throughout the entire process and kept me informed of everything that was going on. She made it easy to get me documents that required my signature and worked with my mom who definitely was tough to work with from what I am told. She was a huge help in making the transition for my mom from that house to another very easy. Kim went above and beyond from beginning to end and helped make the transaction very easy. I had received an offer rather quickly as Kim had worked hard to making this a quick transaction since she knew I wanted to get things wrapped up as soon as possible to alleviate my stresses being out of state. I can't thank her enough for being not just an excellent realtor but an amazing individual who actually cared completely about helping my mother and I with the sale of our home. Thanks Kim! read more
