I went to get a fill cause I have acrylics and one of them was coming off and the woman doing my nails started pulling it off painfully and using a tool to cut it off. My nail broke and started bleeding from this and she drilled over my bloody nail so I ended up telling her I don't want her touching the nail anymore and to leave it alone since it was bleeding. She said she can go over it so she put the acrylic nail over my real nail showing that she could just do it anyway but I told her not to and she just put that nail back into the box after putting it on top of my bloody finger. read more

I went in for a pedicure with my boyfriend's sister and mom. The physical space I would rate one star. It is very unpleasant to be in. I was in a constant state of anxiety. It was completely cluttered with random decor statues and other mis-mashed items. The service I did receive and the quality of pedicure I would rate four stars. I definitely felt rushed in and out in my chair, but the attention to detail and how long my pedicure has lasted makes me give this review three stars rather than zero. The biggest frustration of my trip: my boyfriend's mom was told to leave the drying station for another customer to dry their nails, just after sitting down. It really ruined the trip. Also was obvious that the customer who paid more for gels and pedicure was getting treated higher than my boyfriend's mom. I have seen Kim's make transformations which were great to see. I have been happy with my pedicures and manicures because I like custom designs and have never had a problem as long as I get Tina. I was recommended this nail salon by an acquaintance. At first sight this salon gave me instant anxiety. It's dark and unwelcoming. I reluctantly sat down for a pedicure. The older lady gave me an ok pedicure but spent nearly no time exfoliating my feet. In the end the paint came out good so that's a plus. Then I asked for a gel paint manicure. A different girl did it and acted like she couldn't be bothered with me. She was extremely unfriendly which made me super uncomfortable. She brought over a shallow bowl of cold water for me to soak my nails in. She trimmed my cuticles and painted my nails. That's it. No warm water soak, no hand massage, no lotion...nothing. It was the worst manicure I've ever had. In the end both paint jobs were good but the experience was awful! I will never go back. read more

While it's nice to get in and out quickly, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being rushed through assembly line style. Their work was rushed and inexact. Brace yourself because this one is going to be a long one. Every single time I go to this salon I try to be super nice and respectful, I spend a lot of money and I tip very well. Although they know who I am, they still treat me really bad, they kinda brush me off like if I'm a nobody even though I spend a lot of money there, and I tip extreamly well. Sometimes I think they don't like Hispanics. That's besides the point though. My story goes like this: I usually get my nails done with the lady who sits on table #1, but she's not always there. So many times, I have to settle for who I can get, which I don't mind as long as the person is nice. Anyways; the last 3 times I've gotten 2 diff girls. These 2 diff girls are always super rude, and one of them was super rough. All 3 of these girls have cut me very bad. Yes even my regular girl has cut me many times. I have sensitive skin and they should know this by now, and I also make sure I let them know too. The first time with my regular girl she cut me once and wasn't so bad. But she didn't apologize or bother to disinfect it. I discounted money off her tip. Second girl; the woman was super rude and super rough. She was pulling my hand really hard, she had a face and she cut me 4 times. When she first cut me she cut under my nail, OUCH.! I told her I had sensitive skin. She just looked at me like I was stupid and then started talking in her language and they all started laughing, like wth is so funny about me getting cut?. When it came to the color, she got mad at me because I only wanted to do clear, and she wanted me to do a pinkish clear. When I insisted on doing clear gel she seemed very bothered and proceeded to be rough with me. When she started doing my cuticles she was going way too high, and I told her to please be careful again because she was hurting me. She didn't listen and she cut me 3 more times. My fingers were bleeding so much for a while. And when she was cleaning off my blood she put a face of disgust, and she began to roughly clean it off and was pushing back at my cuticles very hard. She was really hurting me and I told her to stop several times until I had to just pull my hand away. She did apologize but she was not sincere. For a whole week straight I couldn't wash my hands without pain or even wash my own hair. I cried.! The third girl: I went the woman was nice but she cut me too man. And she cut me really bad with the nail file. She apologized but had a smirk on her face like if she was amused. Smh.! When she was finished I told her I wanted to tell her and Kim something. I wanted to tell Kim what had happened the last time, and I wanted to show her pictures. I told the woman who did my nails the story while my gel dried up and she kept smiling like smirking like if what I was telling her was funny. Man I am super respectful and I pay good money and they treated me like that. On top of that Kim didn't want to come talk to me and see the pictures of my cut up fingers. All this and I didn't even get a discount or a sincere apology. Oh and another thing, Not all of them disinfect their tools the right way, and once a woman tried using dirty cuticle cutters on me. I felt so bad, and after all this I will NOT be going back. I will spend my money with a Hispanic who actually has a love for what she does and who can treat me with gentleness and respect. And someone who actually has a license because I don't think that all of those girls are licensed. This is really sad and I cried twice after leaving that place 2 diff times because of the way I was treated and because my hands hurt so bad. Do not go here if you have sensitive skin like me. And if they treat you bad don't go back because we spend a lot of money. I bet you my Latina girls would do a way better job and would treat you with decently and respect. #rantover read more

A friend and I made 5:30 appointments. We arrived on time. I was seated at 5:45 (no big deal). Another woman who had a 5:30 appointment wasn't sat until 6:15 and my friend was sat until 6:20. When I said something to the woman doing my nails when she was finished, she said they had a lot of walk ins and emergencies... This is not acceptable. If you are not able to accommodate people at a certain time tell them that do not have them come in and wait 45 minutes. I came in for a pedicure on a Sunday, Waited to be seated in a chair about 20 minutes. Once I was seated, I was left with my feet soaking in water for about 15 minutes. The woman finally came over to me, did not speak a word, was very rough when cutting around my cuticles, then after putting lotion on my feet and legs she put me back in water WITHOUT wiping the lotion off! My pedicure lasted all of 15-20 minutes in total. I was seated under the dryer for another 20 minutes, nobody ever came to check on me or tell me I was all set. I put my shoes on and as I walked back up to the front, 3 employees got up from their chair and rushed to the counter to take my money as if I was going to walk out without paying. I pretty much paid $33 to get my toes painted. Never again! read more

I came in with a friend to simply get a pedicure. They sat us down at the pedicure chair right away and that's when the problem started. I waited for over 30 mins while my friend got her pedicure right next me to me. No one came over to help me or anything. My feel just sat in cold water getting pruney. No one apologize when they finally came over. When they came over my friend's pedicure was complete. Mine lasted a total of 15 mins after my 30 min wait in cold water. As I was at this past experience at this nail salon, I was not pleased. I have come here before and the experiences were always very good, not a long wait, and I was always treated with respect, but this time the mood was off. I moved in every chair they would put me in, but I was still put last. The workers continued to take other customers before me and not treat me with gratitude. Walking in the door my mother and I were greated by a 14 year old who the owner said she was "babysitting". We both got a mani and a pedi. After our pedicures were done my mom got her nails done and I had to wait a half hour for my nail tech to come in because she was late for work. While waiting The 14 year old took my nail polish off. I got shalack for my nails they looked really good the first day, but after the second day they were already pealing. As i was getting my nails done the 14 year old girl gave a manicure to two other girls that were there. A few things that i noticed while there was that they reused disposible gloves while doing pedicures, and I watched my nail tech take her tools from a previous pedicure, without washing them, and use them on me. Only giving 1 star because I have to give something. I should have read reviews before I came. Now, I work at a salon so I know how a fill should be done. I specifically asked for an acrylic fill 3 times but for whatever reason, the nail technician felt the need to put gel after I told her not to. She made me put my hands under the uv lights 3 times for a minute each time. I can't even tell you how bad that is for your nails. When I was finished she asked if I still wanted a pedicure and I told her no just a polish change so my toes could match my nails. (I'm leaving for vacation in the morning and I don't have time to go elsewhere to have this fixed). She asked me why not a pedicure and I told her I'm not happy with my nails and i told her that I didn't want the gel. She proceeded to argue with me and tell me I was wrong that my nails looked great and the gel is better for your nails (which it isnt). I don't care how good they look, this isn't what I wanted. The polish is streaky and not even on top of everything! I'm beyond upset with how poor the customer service is and especially that I now have to pay for a removal when I come back from vacation and then a brand new full set. I don't right negative reviews usually, but stay FAR AWAY from this place! Royal nails in west springfield is much better! Next time I won't wait until last minute to have this done so I can go there and get the services I want. read more
