Great experience. I needed a flower lei for a graduation and I saw on their website that they make flower leis. It was outside of standard graduation season so I called and the lady (Kim I'm assuming) was nice and I told her what day/time I wanted to pick it up. When I arrived the lei was ready and it was gorgeous, exactly as described. The price was great as well. There's a fairly large parking lot in the back so parking is easy, I would definitely come back here. read more

Kim Florist and her husband were amazing! We decided to have our wedding last minute and wanted to see if anybody could whip together a wedding bouquet, boutonnières, and centerpieces. We walked in and basically explained our vision with some reference photos and they were able to confirm all our requests, as well as get everything arranged in only 3 weeks. I also wanted to get a regular bouquet for a surprise bridal shower and they accommodated that as well within a week. We were very satisfied with our end product. The flowers they chose were very nice, even throwing in some flowers that weren't in season until next month. They also help do delivery if your event is local in the SGV. They also do a great job of explaining that different flowers they're using, as well as cost based on season and what's available. read more

My bouquet was arranged on time and was very beautifully done. I paid for the small size but the florist upgraded it to the bigger size for free! That was very sweet of them. May have found my go-to florist in the sgv area. You really can't get much better than this for the price. I called and gave a really rough description of what I wanted .. "Pink, pastel, around $50." Really not much to work with, but Kim Florist was able to output such a beautiful piece. It was ready in an hour. Came in for a last-minute Mother's Day bouquet with my friend. I ended up being super indecisive so I didn't buy anything since I wanted to check out another store (which I regret). The man helping us out was really patient with my friend who had a hard time deciding what to get within her budget. In the end she settled on some wrapped carnations-- 12 for $25. At kim's I bought some flowers for Mother's Day for my Grandma we did not expect such high quality flowers from kim's. The good part was that they were very fast and completed it under an hour the people were very nice and the business is family owned! Got a floral bouquet from here for my birthday and it was honestly the worst quality bouquet I've ever received in my life. Extremely disappointed. After one day, more than half of the flowers were wilted and the balloon started to lose air. Picture is attached, I'm sad I didn't get to take a picture of it the first day! I got home late and the next morning this is what I see. I kept it indoors too and it had water in the bottom, so not sure what else could've happened other than the flowers not being fresh. This is the first time ever getting flowers from here and I would not recommend it. Small shop within walking distance from my house but biggest mistake of coming here. read more

There are several major north-south roads in this area, and Rosemead Boulevard is one of them. San Gabriel Boulevard is another. The road is wide and easy to drive. The nursery is right across the street from Com Tam Kieu Restaurant, one of the better Vietnamese broken rice restaurants in Southern California. On the way there, I passed a construction site, probably a new apartment building. It strongly gave me the impression of an EB-5 green card project, the kind of real estate development marketed less as a normal apartment building and more as an immigration investment package for Chinese buyers. In the middle of the SGV, that feeling was hard to miss. After that came the nursery. I drove from north to south, made a left turn onto a smaller street, and parked outside. The entrance is tiny. You walk through it and immediately reach the counter, where there was even a line. After that, you pass into an indoor room stocked with fertilizers, plant stakes, soil, mulch, and other gardening supplies. Beyond that is the back garden, which is much larger than expected and quite elegant. The plants are clearly well cared for, and the stone sculptures give the place a strong hint of Chinese culture. Along the edge of the main building, there are stacks of Buddha heads, seated Buddhas, and other stone figures, mostly in Chinese Buddhist or imagined Buddhist styles, though not necessarily following any strict traditional standard. There are Chinese signs everywhere, which makes sense for a nursery in the middle of the SGV. Many of the plants have bilingual names. The prices are not cheap, but they are fair. The orchids are much more expensive than what you would find at Trader Joe's or Costco, but they are also more beautiful and much stronger, so I would not call them overpriced. The plants use different colored tags, similar to what you see in many American discount stores. Some are very cost-effective. It is definitely worth stopping by, and even more worth it if you happen to find some good discounted plants. The cashier was a little rude, but as a Chinese person, I found it completely acceptable. I have seen much worse. Even though she was in a rush, the service was not bad. She even gave me an extra bag so the soil would not spill in my car. Overall, this is a good nursery and I would recommend it. It is even better if you understand Chinese culture, because many of the details will make more sense.

Do not buy from this florist! I ordered flowers on Valentine's Day for my 80+ year old mother who lost her husband (my father). The flowers were never delivered! I called them at least twenty times and every time I got the same recording. Three days later, I got an email that they were refunding my money, after I tiold them I was calling the police, and the email said it would take up to seven days for me to get it. I learned that from a florist friend of mine). The flowers probably could have lasted 14 days but I decided to toss it out in our trash can so that it would be in time for trash day. Overall, our delivery was a positive experience . I just wanted to include this review for those who are sending flowers to a loved one and wanted to know that being on the receiving end was good.

I had to ask them to fill in a stand I paid for. The cross stand was the only thing they got right and it was beautiful and I did at least get one nice picture with the cross only. Everything else was completely wrong. Made me late to my mom's own funeral. And after being clear over five times I feel like they purposely messed up the flowers.
