I usually go local for the oil change and then support a local business or two, but this is the second time in 6 months the young gentleman told me he couldn't get to me. This time had a helper "girlfriend" behind the desk hanging out which I've never seen before either. This is just not like Fuquay tire and their normal level of service. I went somewhere else because it needed to be done but it has me questioning if every time I recommend this store if I'm now making a mistake.

A guy met me outside and shuffled me in to discuss my options. He recommended a different brand of tire widdershins to the dealer's, which were wearing down at 35k miles. I agreed, he quoted me at $1100, estimating 75k miles, alignment included, and I was off to relax in the waiting room. The chairs could be updated, but still not bad. It was roomy, with about five other customers milling about. I took a seat and played on my phone for an hour. What this scene severely lacks is something interesting, like background music. Nitpicking, though. That guy called me back to the register and I paid. What I appreciated most about him was his superb service. The gentleman was knowledgeable about everything I asked him.
