Joe was wonderful and gave me a great wash and blow out. He managed to do a really full smooth blow out with minimal heat and product which I really appreciated. More so, he was extremely kind and friendly and knew his craft well. I loved how my hair turned out and really appreciated my experience with him. Additionally, I found the prices at this salon to be extremely reasonable and much better than competitors in the area. Definitely recommend. read more

Renee is absolutely amazing. I only go to her for my hair as she totally gets what I want. I always love changing my hair color and she does the magic perfectly. I am so in love with the my haircut! It's the fist time in my life where I feel completely satisfied with the result, not only does my hair feel fuller, the face framing layers have brought my look to life! Thank you so much to Rosie, she did an amazing job of listening to what I wanted. She made sure to trim the damaged ends, but still keep the length I wanted. I highly recommend asking for Rosie, super detail oriented and artistically talented! read more

I recently visited Killer Hair for a balayage, haircut, and styling with Rose, and the results are phenomenal. It has been years since I've experienced this level of talent and craftsmanship. Rose is remarkably thorough and detail-oriented, bringing both technical expertise and an artistic touch to her work. I've come here several times for cuts and balayage. Their pricing is very reasonable. The shop is clean, plays good music, is stylish and has huge windows so you don't feel claustrophobic. The stylists I've had did an amazing job (Liz, Kyung) so when I booked appointments it would be based on availability. That said, this last session with Rose was so revelatory the angels sang, trees danced and for the first time in my life I didn't want to go home and restyle my blowout. The blending and toning is immaculate and every highlight chunk is perfectly placed. She's a fine artist who paints with thought and intention to what looks best on you! Also she's a sweetheart and a blast to talk to so the hours went by like nothing. It's also woman-owned, not that I'm a feminist or anything but it's nice to support. Highly recommend, y'all! read more

I had my hair appointment with Rose today. It was my first time with her and am so happy with my results. I had balayage, haircut, and blow out/style done. She did such an amazing job reviving my dull black hair. She really took her time and made sure I knew her process of picking a tone that would best complement my skin color. The combination of the cut and color really brought dimension to my hair. I highly recommend Rose. read more

Called for a haircut and style and they said they had availability. When I got to the salon, they only had my down for a haircut and the stylist they recommended didn't have time for a style. I was stressing because I needed the style more than the haircut but luckily someone else was able to take me. While I had a great time in the shop and my hair looked great styled, I after a wash I realized it looks insane unstyled. I asked for a few inches off but still keeping my layers. Half my hair is shoulder length and looks ridiculously choppy. read more

Rose is the BEST!! Truly a magician. I go to her for haircut, tinting, and keratin treatment! Always so happy with her results and receive compliments. She is very professional, detailed, kind, and overall amazing! read more

Rose was AMAZING!!! I made a last minute appointment for a cut and highlights with Rose, and she was so patient and thoughtful in walking through what would be best for me. We ultimately ended up going with a balayage (per her recommendation), and im so grateful we did!! She was such an expert--from recommending what my hair needed help with, to the actual coloring & cut itself. Ive had such bad experiences before where people don't listen to how much I want cut off (and then cut it way too short), but Rose listened to me, confirmed what I want it, and cut it the perfect amount!! Beyond her skill, Rose is just such a beautiful woman. She was so caring and patient, and I heard her talk to another client and it was evident that she treats everyone with care and respect. I felt so rude when I had to work on my laptop while there, but she respected that and was so considerate when my hair would get in front of my eyes and I couldn't see my laptop. To anyone trying to figure out where to get their hair done, COME HERE!!! This is hands down the best color & cut I've gotten, and I felt so comfortable and cared for during this experience. THANK YOU, ROSE!!! read more

I can't say enough good things about Rose. From the moment I sat in her chair I felt completely comfortable and knew I was in good hands. She took the time to really listen to what I wanted, offered thoughtful suggestions, and absolutely nailed the final result. My color looks so natural and dimensional and the cut gave my hair so much movement and life and shapes my face perfecttttly!!! I left feeling like the best version of myself Beside her talent Rose is genuinely such a kind and welcoming person. You can tell she truly cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. I've already gotten so many compliments on my hair and couldn't be happier with how it turned out. If you're looking for someone who is talented, detail-oriented, and makes the entire experience enjoyable, I highly recommend Rose. I'll definitely be back read more

I've been a faithful client of Joe's for two years (10/10 recommend) and heard about Rose and her eyebrow services at my latest haircut. I was able to book a time with her today and she gave me the best eyebrow threading experience I could have hoped for! She is very knowledgeable and skilled. The vision was executed perfectly, and there was very discomfort for what is usually a painful service. Rose is very talented! I'm happy to have her at my usual salon, where is a variety of services available and always a great vibe. read more

I had a good experience with Joe. He did a great job with my cut & blowout. I could tell he understood my vision from my inspiration photo and brought it to life. There's a parking lot in the complex but it was full when I arrived around 5:30 on a Thursday. Theres plenty of street parking though. Between the music and conversation, it is a bit loud in the salon. They offered me something to drink multiple times. I would give it 5 stars but we started about 15 minutes after my appointment time. Joe was very apologetic about that and more than made up for it with his service. I'll def be back! read more

Just wanted to share my experiences with the amazing Renee (the only hair stylist I go to). Before her my hair was not growing and I wasn't sure if it was the haircuts I was picking or the stylist. From the first cut with Renee my hair began to grow and I added some pics for reference. When I was ready she was the only one I trusted with my virgin hair to give me the color I wanted. I was obsessed and grateful for her time and attention to detail. Such an easy person to talk to and before you know it you're done walking out fabulous. When I was ready we went in for a little chop and back to black and added some layers. I let her do her thing and trusted her to do the layers that would work best with my face shape and I was sooo happy at the end read more

I wanted to share my experience with René so others know what to expect. My first haircut with her was amazing. She was warm, talented, and easy to talk to, so I trusted her completely when she said we could get my dark hair to lavender in two sessions. The first lightening took seven hours and cost about $700. Not only did My hair end up ashy with indigo tones in the front (as you can see in picture) but she also made me wait a whole hour during my appointment since she was dealing with another client. She said we were on track, so I came back for the second session. That time, my roots turned platinum but the rest was uneven and patchy blonde (video and photo). She didn't apply the lavender color and instead handed it to me to use at home. She told me to mix a little bit of the lavender with conditioner. That did NOT work at all. The lavender did not show. After paying over $1,100 total, my hair was nowhere near the goal. When I brought up my concerns, her messages became extremely defensive and blamed my old black dye. I later spoke with other colorists who said the unevenness was from how the bleach was applied, not the previous dye. I don't want to ruin anyone's career, but I do want to be honest. René is great with haircuts, but when it comes to color corrections or transformations, my experience felt manipulative and overpriced. If you book with her, make sure everything about cost and results is clear before you start. read more

I had a organic kreatine hair treatment done with Rose and I am obsessed. From the hair washing with superb head rub to lovely conversation you can tell he has the skill that comes from years of doing what he loves. I loved getting my hair cut and balayaged here with Mona!! I got my first cut in February 2024, and it was by far my favorite haircut I'd ever gotten. Most haircuts I'd gotten previously felt like they become "regular" by the one month mark, but Mona's haircut felt fresh and fun for several months after. The balayage grew out naturally and faded to a pretty color, and her tips for hair maintenance completely transformed my hair's overall health. This time, I flew in from San Jose just to get my hair cut and colored by her again! Highly recommend!! read more

Joe Romero did an AMAZING job with manifesting my color vision today! I wanted to take my hair from almost white to a lovely Golden Color with Purple and Blue tones and he pulled it off beautifully. I would highly recommend him for Bleaching, Toning, and Fashion Color. I'll definitely go to visit him again for future services. He also gave me a super clean asymmetrical bob haircut that looks great with the color. I love my new color and am thoroughly impressed with how it turned out! :) read more

I'm sure the other stylists are great, but if you choose to schedule with Mona, beware... Made an appointment and arrived to the appointment on time. Mona was busy with another client and said to wait a bit. I didn't mind as it seemed like they were almost done. 33 minutes later the other client begins to get out of her seat. I just stood up and left. Don't waste my time. She then proceeds to call me, and I say that I don't have time for a haircut anymore and to just cancel it. She hangs up on me while I'm mid-sentence. This was also supposed to be my second time with Mona. The first time she shamed my hair and told me it was super dry and not to wash it every day, when I workout every day, and I don't want to put a dirty head on my pillow. She also asked me multiple times to get bangs, and I had to repeatedly say no, as bangs severely interfere with my sport. Book with Mona if you don't mind rudeness and lateness. I suppose her cut and colors are fine... read more

Super happy with my haircut from Renee! She really knows what she is doing and how to make you look great and talking with her the whole time is fun. Make sure to book with her if you like layers that will look good with a blowout! Also a very fast haircut. I'm not sure what she put in my hair but it was not oily after 3 days when it usually gets oily after one. So glad I came to pay her a visit and I would totally be back again! read more

I figured it was time to write a review. I've been going to Killer Hair since the summer of 2020, and they have always consistently done fantastic work. Specifically, I'd like to mention Renee, she always sees my vision and creates something better than I imagined, whether I'm getting a full highlight/balayage, bangs for the first time in years, or a routine cut. Additionally, their hair care line is affordable and super high quality. I've tried many high-end leave-in conditioners over the years, and Killer Hair's is the only one that allows me to manage my hair easily. Thank you, Killer Hair, and Renee, for always making my hair look and me feel 10x better than I did when I walked in. read more

Alright haircut, Price Discrepancy, Awkward Scenario I had an appointment with Renee, and not only did she cancel on me twice, but she promised something "extra special" and "extra love" for my appointment, due to the circumstance. I assumed this would be a discount, or maybe a free item. I received neither. I was actually charged $5 EXTRA than the amount I booked. I knew she didn't forget either, because we discussed the cancellations during the appointment. Although the cut was fine, she was very personal and detailed when making conversation about herself, which some might find that inappropriate. I'm easy going so I wasn't exactly offended but it definitely felt a little strange given it was the first time having an appointment with her. Definitely was disappointed though given no discount or anything after the multiple cancellations on her end. I understand things happen if life that we can't control, but it still was inconvenient. Regardless, haircut itself was fine. Not like I walked out looking ridiculous; just a odd experience. This is the only place in the area that offers cuts under $100, that's not a large chain company. (cut only- not including wash/blowout) The place itself is very small with limited parking. read more
