She was helpful and directed me towards what I was looking for. Wish I had more time and more space in my suitcase to look and bring back more fabric from here!

They have a wide selection of yarn that is unavailable on Oahu. They even carry locally made yarn which was beautiful. They have lots of beautiful quilts hanging on the walls as well as crochet and knitted items as well. They even have binders of free patterns that you can take home with you. I was blown away! The store is beautiful to be in, so neat, organized and colorful. I wish I was into quilting so I could buy some of their colorful fabric! There is an ample parking lot so parking shouldn't be a problem. There is an iPad in the store where you need to punch in your license plate for 90 minutes of free parking. The yarns were reasonably priced. I ended up buying 2 skeins to crochet some butterflies. Highly recommend this store for your quilt, crochet or knitting needs. She is always smiling when I see her, and she has such a calm, sweet nature that immediately makes you feel comfortable asking questions. When I come in with a project, Bernie doesn't just point me in a direction - she actually brainstorms with me, offers suggestions, and helps me think through what would be most helpful. Even when I change my mind (more than once ), she never makes me feel rushed or annoying. Her patience is something I truly appreciate. I always look for Bernie when I come in because I know she is willing to help and will do so with kindness every single time. Honestly, if it weren't for her, I would probably just go to Walmart - but Bernie is the reason I keep coming back here instead. A lot of customer service these days feels rushed or impersonal, but Bernie is different. She consistently takes the time to be thoughtful, speaks kindly, and makes the experience enjoyable. I called the store and asked the owner if she would be willing to keep it open for a few more minutes. And she agreed! Her store was her living room. She had beautiful batiks but I went in for the Hawaiian prints. They were great quality and inexpensive. I bought 5 different fabrics. Beautiful. For purchasing over $35 worth of fabric, she gave me a cute little eco-friendly bag. While I shopped, the owner offered my husband access to her wifi network.
