It's somewhat nondescript in decor, but the restaurant has a lot of seating, and an "open" counter area where you can see your pizza dough being rolled out, toppings being added, and the final product placed in the oven. I've had the spinach pizza and also the mista...both were pretty good, though I think the first one I had was better (I was also a bit buzzed when I ate it, which made it irresistible to me). I also found that the pizzas are a bit salty, which is fine because I am a salt fanatic, but something worth noting. All in all, I don't think Zeus is THE BEST VEGAN PIZZA EVER, but if I am craving a bite and in the neighborhood, it certainly is a solid option.

Secret Garden offers an exceptional experience since the moment you walk in. The environment is quite unique, the decorations make you feel in a new place, and the environment is perfect for a date, a meal, and a chat with friends. And even though non of the dishes by themselves were outstanding, the combination of dishes made for a great experience. We tried the tofu sticks, dumplings, onigiris and several sushi rolls; I especially liked the non-"roll" dishes. All in all, if you are looking for a unique experience in Berlin, Secret Garden is a great alternative. I also got a side of their thick house fries which were also a piping hot delight. I think I spent about 7 Euros in total including a softdrink. The look of the place is very hip-hop-inspired and the staff was very friendly. Expect to wait 5-10 minutes for your order. They also serve chicken wings, nuggets and vegan or vegetarian burger. The place isn't as packed as Burgeramt usually is, but also great in it's own right. Their specials are also worth checking out; the double-jalapeño-cheddarcheese burger was the bomb.

The location is nice but the space they are working with is cramped. The biggest problem, however, is the cost. While groceries in Germany are much less expensive than in the US, the cost at Veganz is totally over-the-top. They charge more because certain products are imported, then mark them up even more. And I just can't find it in me to spend 7 or 8 euros on a bag of soy cheese or 9 euros on vegan ice cream, so I tend to avoid this place unless I can't find what I need at a bio store or at Dr. Pogo. One exception was this weekend when I was on the hunt for Tofurkey sausages, which the website claims they have. Well, they didn't, and it's not the first time that what I wanted was not in stock when I showed up. Disappointing. I will admit the convenience of everything in one spot is nice, as we buy our vegan items from various stores and a mail-order coop, which can often take longer for shopping. But unless you like paying way more for a product than what it is worth, there are better options than here.
