He's been my dentist my whole life, and looking back, I realize I had taken for granted just how exceptional he and his team are--because it was all I'd ever known. As a kid, I was terrified of the dentist, but Dr. Mason and his amazing hygienists took all the fear out of it. They made me feel comfortable, at ease, and genuinely cared for. He has incredible attention to detail, stays current with the latest technology, and takes the time to get everything exactly right. On a recent visit home, he fit me in last-minute to fix bite issues and pain from work done elsewhere--and didn't stop until it felt perfect. He also re-evaluated an overly aggressive treatment plan I'd been given and confirmed I only needed a fraction of the work. He's honest, practical, and never recommends anything unnecessary. Dr. Mason is truly a sculptor when it comes to teeth, and I feel so lucky to be his patient. If you're in Wichita and looking for top-tier dental care--this is the place.

Believe it or not he actually has four star reviews if you google his name. Dig just a bit deeper and you will find that the reviews are either posted by his dentist buddies or maybe a paid service. The fact is I felt his manner was atrocious, he was extremely aggressive with his work and his tone to the point I actually felt he was provoking me. The whole experience caught me off guard as I have never been treated with such disrespect by any kind of doctor. After he left the hygienist actually told me they are supposed to be aggressive as if to make me feel better about what he just did, she actually seemed like she was a bit taken aback as well. I am anxious about going to the dentist but have been frequently throughout my life and have had several different procedures done. Nothing like this has ever happened before.
