Worst Dentist Office to go to in Wichita. Called them prior to my appointment and made sure my…read moreinsurance was coverage through them. I got there filled out paperwork and paid them do to work on my teeth. All to have a conversation with the Terry Turner that they would not be able to do work on my teeth today, like wtf was the point in making me drive all way for nothing. Such a fucking time waister. They wanted me to reschedule and come back in two weeks because Delta Dental would not be covered by them, I would have to pay all out of pocket! DONT RECOMMED THEM TO ANYONE!

I had been experiencing an ache in my lower right jaw for some time, and was told by my dentist…read morethat he suspected that I was experiencing referred pain from a possible infection under my lower right canine tooth that had been subject to a root canal years ago in another state. I dreaded getting what's called a "re-treatment" of that root canal. So I spent a lot of time researching endodontists in town. I actually did a consultation with someone my dentist recommended, but he was so cavalier when I asked what if the tooth breaks during te-treatment ("Oh that could happen, we'll just do a crown!" while waving his hand and rolling his chair away), that I got alarmed. (Guess that first endodontist didn't care about saving my tooth, maybe more interested in getting a new boat instead! At least, that is how it felt...). So back to research I went. And I found Dr. Terry Turner. I had my root canal retreatment on Wednesday, 48 hours ago, and he is amazing!!! The numbing went well (and I am a pain wimp), and he explained every step as he went so I would know what to expect and what he was doing. I deeply appreciate his attention to detail, to me as his patient, and to his work. The procedure went quickly and perfectly, and I have needed only ibuprofen for the slight amount of pain after even though he gave me a prescription for percocet in case I needed it. I have a follow up in a few weeks--he wants to ensure the infection clears up before placing the permanent filling (something I strongly suspect the original endodontist failed to do). Dt. Turner is highly skilled, easy to talk to, very smart, and very caring. I highly recommend him and his staff.

At the end of September 2023, I began to help a close friend begin the process of getting dentures…read moreand implants after she had been without teeth for over a decade. Although the quality of the work is excellent, their business practices lack ethics. Being the financially responsible party, I expected a COMPLETE itemized statement of possible costs to complete the process. The doctor, and office manager knew full well that she had extensive bone loss in her lower jaw, but not once did anyone tell us the possibility of having to remake the lower denture to complete the process!!! I did my financial planning based on the information the office manager, Cindee provided. Kansas Perio did the implants and grafting in her lower jaw. It wasn't until all this work was completed that we were told a new lower denture needed to be done. I was expecting to pay the last 5,900 dollars that Cindee originally provided to finish the process. Now that has ballooned to $8,439!! To me, this is unacceptable but I guess that's how Auburn Dental wants to handle patients. Cindee's explanation to me for not being told by her, or the doctor, of the possibility of this extra cost, as they don't want to scare off patients from getting dentures done!!! Auburn Dental has all these great reviews, but if you have a more complicated case watch out!! To me, it was extremely clear now that it was probably better than an eighty percent chance of needing the lower remade because of all the grafting and I should have been told!!!

I'm not rich. his mother had to take off work too. so we both lost money. we get there and after waiting 20 minutes they call us back and tell us " sorry we don't have the ointment needed for this procedure " super inconvenient, inconsiderate, and unprofessional . if you are performing oral surgery... when you schedule your appts do better. because now I have to take ANOTHER day off. a dr who makes 6 figures doesn't care about money. but to someone making 35k a year...320 dollars for 2 days is a LOT

Review about Remy H. Blanchaert, Jr…read more I am so livid right now!!! My wife, Sarah, was referred to a specialist to have a tooth extracted due to it touching a nerve and the fact that she has a major reaction to epinephrine in the normal novocaine shot. The specialist has a different shot they use for those that are sensitive. She waited over two weeks for this appointment, in constant pain and losing sleep because of it. And today is finally the day. We get there, she fills out the paperwork, and gets called back. The nurse gets her ready, and puts some local anesthetic on the area to get ready for the shot. The dentist is getting ready to do it and Sarah asks if he's using the right shot. He says, "I'm using what I've always used for 20 years". She informs him that she has a reaction to the regular shot. He then raises his voice and says, "do you want the tooth out or not?" She sits up and he pushes her up out of the chair and says "then leave". She looked at the nurse and said "are you kidding me? Does he always treat people like this?" The nurse said, "I can't answer that", and just cowered in the corner. Sarah then walked out of the room in complete tears and came out to the lobby, where I was waiting. DO NOT have work done by this dentist and if Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates continues to support his actions, as you could tell by the nurse's reactions this happens a lot, then do not use their services at all!!
