Showed them a picture of the exact guitar we wanted. After the order process, found out one of the options ordered was going to make the guitar a different shape than the guitar picture presented to sales. Apparently, the 25.5' (vs) the 27' inch scale length changed the the guitar body shape for this specific model. No one from Kiesel staff knew this at the time of the order. Made several attempts to rectify the issue with sales, management, and even the owner. They were not willing to work with us in any capacity; even though we ordered a $3,100.00 guitar. After much back and forth, informed them we will just await receipt of the guitar, and then return it for a full refund, per the appropriate website and receipt guidelines. The manager Joe stated the guitar was non-refundable. He also stated it was on our sales order. I looked at my order again. It was NOT on there. He later emailed me a copy of a sale order. However, it was not the same as mine. It turns out the sales order he sent me was fake. It did not have my credit card number on it, the timestamp was different, and other additional elements which demonstrated it was not the real sales receipt. It was not until I demonstrated these facts that Kiesel had no choice but to issue a refund. Many times through trying to resolve the issue, I just requested they rebuild the exact same guitar, but only with the longer scale length to match the guitar picture originally shown to sales. Instead of reaching an agreement, they ultimately refunded our deposit and told us we are no longer allowed to do business with them. So basically, My son's dream guitar will never happen because Kiesel was unwilling to work with us to resolve a major error. At one point, I was willing to eat half the deposit, just to have them start a new build. Furthermore, when I called them out on their attempt in falsifying a receipt, they instead told us we are blacklisted. Great company! And to add insult to injury, the owner Jeff insulted me personally. read more
