They are disrespectful kids that have been in their playpen too long, and think they own the place. I'll never get involved with them again.

The bad: they seriously need to organize. The store is often in so cluttered you can't move and the placement random. They have lost many sales to me because I can't find a price. It wouldn't take much to clean things up and add a price tag. I know a few people who won't shop here because of this issue.

CALLED our local Rural King in Elyria to verify that they still did perform this service. While on the phone I specifically asked if they had a limit as we had about 7 or 8 batteries to recycle. The young man said no, no limits. Loaded up our batteries, drove 20 miles to the store where I called, unloaded the batteries, went to the customer service desk where we were promptly told that Rural King no longer recycles batteries. Wasted over an hour of our time plus gas for our vehicle. I would think all the employees should know the policies of the store where they work. Aggravated and disappointed with Rural King today. After calling 6 other dealers and either them telling me I wouldn't see a new one for 2 years or just plain not calling me back it was frustrating to say the least. It was obvious after talking with Jason at MFG kubota that he actually cared to help and get me into a new unit. He had a brand new skidsteer to me quicker than I thought was ever possible. Obviously the machine is great but the service from everyone at MFG is why going forward I will only purchase new equipment for my business here. As a business owner, time is precious. Dealing with an equipment company that actually understands that is worth its weight in gold. Thanks again, Devon

I bought a hose hydrant from the Marion, Ohio Rural King and later realized it was the wrong size…read more I first tried to exchange it at the Marysville Rural King. The staff there were kind and genuinely tried to help, but they could not find the purchase in their system. I checked my banking app and confirmed that I had bought it at the Marion store. I then returned to Marion with two of my own hydrants: the wrong-size one I had purchased and my old one for size comparison. Two different employees told me they could not look up the purchase without either a phone number in their system or a physical receipt. They also said they could not use my original payment card to retrieve it. That explanation contradicts Rural King's published return policy, which says a digital receipt may be retrieved when a customer has the original credit or debit card used for the purchase. I had the card available, but neither employee offered to follow that process. I ended up purchasing the correct-size hydrant anyway. While I was checking out, the first employee I had spoken with came over and questioned the number of hydrants in my bag, insisting there should be more. That employee already knew I had entered the store with two of my own. The employee ringing me up, who could see exactly what I had brought to the counter and what I was purchasing, did not question the count. The Marysville staff handled the situation professionally and made a sincere effort to help, even though they could not locate the purchase. My experience at Marion was very different. I hope management coaches the Marion team on Rural King's return policy and ensures that customers are treated with trust and respect rather than suspicion:/
