While the shop is small (being located in a small town, this makes total sense), it has a really great variety of clothing options. They also have some really cute women's bags. I LOVE the candles and jewelry they sell. It's a problem for my wallet!

The big day is in 3 days and I just arrived back in Iowa, and wanted to go into the store to try in my tuxedo to make sure everything fits properly. I called them to ask if I could come in and try everything on and from the very beginning everyone was extremely pleasant. Once I arrived, everyone was just as friendly as they were on the phone and extremely, extremely helpful! I tried on the tuxedo and everything fit absolutely perfectly, which means when I called in my measurements they took them down perfectly! All in all I wish I could give these guys more than five stars as they were absolutely incredible, I would highly highly recommend them over any other locations around Cedar Rapids.

If you can't find it here, they will order it. If there is one thing I could change, it would be to lower the prices just a tad. I can't always afford (or wish) to buy two of an item just to get a price break. Also, the hours have been cut back a little but that's easy to work around. Overall, they are doing a good job of keeping things affordable. I am a member of the Casual Male rewards program and get plenty of helpful offers. I am giving it three stars because of the customer service we experienced on the day we went to pick up the tux. Obviously it's prom season so the line to the fitting room was out the door. We don't take dances very seriously so we just went ahead and bought it without trying it on, knowing the young girl (Patience, I think?) did a good job measuring last time. we went up to the register and a male employee looked at us and said "not trying it on is a terrible idea" with a lot of attitude. I understood that he was just trying to help but it felt pretty unnecessary. When we got home to try on the tux, there was a few minor stains on the jacket. Like I said, we really didn't care too much and we're fine with a few flaws, but I hope we don't get charged for the damage that was already on the coat as soon as we got home. (We did send a nice email so hoping for a good response.) everything else with the suit was perfect, and it fit!

This store encapsulates the Midwesterner state of mind perfectly and I just absolutely love it! This specific Raygun store is located in the extremely quaint and cute downtown Cedar Falls area and so at the front of the store in particular, they have specific products and merch geared towards Cedar Falls especially! I believe one of their bigger stores is located within Des Moines and I will be visiting it very soon and can't wait to see what delightfully fun finds I discover here! My only request to Raygun is for some more representation of other states in the Midwest! As an Iowa-based company, I obviously see and understand the overwhelming majority of Iowa-related products, but I've also seen some Kansas and Ohio merch as well and as a Michigander, I would really love some Michigan representation too! And because it was taking so long people in front of people were leaving. Ashley was working all by herself and going as fast as she could. This is no fault of hers but kohls should have had another person helping her. Not only that but her coworkers were walking by not assisting and one even asked "aren't you supposed to be done?" And she was working passed her scheduled time with no one helping her. She was super apologetic to the customers and very helpful. If a management reads this please know Ashley who was working 4/6/25 who has glasses and dark hair was doing a great job. However, there needs to be a team meeting on teamwork because even though people are in kohls for Amazon returns, they weren't mad at amazon they were mad at kohls. While shopping: Something I also noticed while shopping around the store was the lack of organization. Almost everything I picked up was not in the right section or completely different brand so I had no idea if it was the price it said on the rack. This was all throughout the store. I think the team should go through the store to reorganize and fold things. It made me not able to find what I was looking for. I did ask an employee if they had a certain pair of pants in a smaller size that I found in a random section and they checked on a device and said they did but when they lead me over to where it was supposed to be we couldn't find them and there were more random things in that section. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get those pants because of this.
