Very good. Mostly undercover and enough to keep the kids busy for most of the days. A bit pricey, but that was offset by a 6 day return voucher! read more

Mr soapy hand soap which made washing hands fun for the kids, also a nice feature are paper towels handy for extra messes and got hands drier quicker than a noisy hand drier and can scare the children. We ordered coffee and bacon sandwich from the breakfast menu, which is also a new feature as well. The staff are happy and helpful and appear to enjoy the job as they also helped our son with arts and craft activity and added the picture to the art tree on the wall. We have now booked a birthday party too and will report back with our findings.

The fish are so tame they even follow the rowing boats if you keep feeding them. Very well priced and we chose the £1 offer where you can return each day for the next 7 days just by paying a pound on your way out of the park. Very friendly staff and would go again. Excellent

They also have a cafe and a lovely little shop to buy some springfields branded gifts in to take home! It really does make for a fun day out with the kids, and actually can be made to last all day without them getting bored, so well worth the entrance fee. Highly recommended!!!
Fantastic place to take the kids on a day out…read more Lots of animals for them to look at and pet, Mini tractors to ride on, Adventure playgrounds outside, Farm animals & bottle feeding, lakes and woods, a milking parlour where they can watch the milking process, but the main attraction for my kids has always been their indoor play area The Bull Pen. With ball pools, slides, demon drop soft play area plus a good cafe it makes a great day out for our family. You can relax with a cuppa knowing that they are safely playing. Basically a fun day out no matter what the weather, if its raining when you get there you can do the Bull Pen til it stops if its ot raining its a great place to walk around in the sun and all kids love petting the animals :) x

There are displays of old tractors, a nice farmland walk-although its quite steep when returning! Endless amounts of kids playground facilities. There is a huge indoor bull pen which is jam packed with soft play equipment. The best thing about this is that the adults can acommpany the children around the soft play and slides. The food prices are reasonable as is the admission fee for the park itself. Ample car parking and a nice selection of goods in the giftshop-which is reasonably priced too. A really good day out for everyone

Ben's playworld is great for kidsI would say kids under about 12 though. There is loads for them to…read morego on from ball pools, to demon drop slide and a whole lot more. Ben's also do fantastic kids parties where they provide all the food and party bags etc and all the kids seem to love it, mine definitely do and never want to leave! However I have given it less stars than I would have if it was all good, the downside to Ben's Playworld is whilst th kids are playing it seems a great idea to sit in the cafe sectionhowever wheras the kids party food is good the price and quality of food sold there otherwise is disappointing. But the thing that lost it 2 stars complately is the staff that run the cafe section.blatantly rude is a word I'd use, I may just have been in there on 2 particularilly bad days for them, but they grunted replies, didn't bother to tell me where any of the sauces etc were and basically just didn't seemt o want to be there or to help in anyway. The staff members who go into the kids party rooms to arrange things are different they are ultra happy and helpful.needless to say you can see why the others are hidden behind the catering counter!! So yes Ben's is worth it for your kids to have a lot of fun, but I rarely bother to even buy a coffee there!x

There is ample parking. It's probably a better place for under 10s really. It's very safe - kids cannot run out the doors or anything so you can relax in the cafe type area and leave them to explore. The place, when we went a couple of years ago, needed a little bit of a cash injection but they were doing the best with what they've got to keep the tourist trade coming in. It's about a fiver for the kids in peak season and you have to pay a little bit for adults aswell which is not good, altough the car park was free so I suppose it evens out. They have alot crammed in there for the kids amusements and the kids would be in there and happy all day as long as you adults take enough reading material. Recommended for a rainy day or for a treat after dragging the kids round the Eden Project down the road.

Twycross has a huge amount of monkeys but they are mostly in little cages - at Newquay they've got their monkeys on a little open air island in a pond. There is no cage at all and they are contained by the water. It's this kind of feeling you get all round the zoo where they've obviously thought about the happiness of the animals as well as the paying public. You get very close to the animals, have Chipmunks crossing over your head in tubes. There are also play areas and places to have picnics. When we went I could have my hand stamped and nip back to the car to get my picnic stuff. They also have animal visits where they take smaller animals and reptiles round to schools and holiday parks. A really great place with caring staff.
