The Penzance Astro Park is a widely used relatively new premises in the area. Adjoining the Astro Turf playing field, and housing the changing room, showers and meeting rooms in it's basement, the bar area itself is a single room, very open plan affair. The ceiling is essentially the roof, very high up! The bar prices are about the same as normal pubs. Limited food is available, but they do things like Sunday roasts. Most of what they do is advertised on a blackboard near the main road by the fire station (the Astro Park is located immediately behind the fire station). Weekends sees its busiest time, as it is home to the Penzance Hockey teams, as well as servicing local football clubs Madron FC and Newlyn Non Athletico FC. read more
