Dresden Park has reopened after a few years of renovation and even though I hadn't been here before…read morethat, I have to believe that it's back and better than ever. There's now a dog park which is super convenient for us on days that we don't feel like driving the additional 10 minutes to Brookhaven Park. The only downside is the parking... on a busy Sunday midday on a temperate winters' day all of the fields, tennis courts, playground, etc. were in full use. We had to park in the neighborhood and do a short walk, but at least there was a sidewalk. The nearby street that connects Dresden to Buford Highway had clearly posted No Parking signs. The dog park is a short walk from the parking lot. The paths around the park were all recently paved. There are divided sections for large and small dogs (30 lbs and under). While it isn't nearly as big as Brookhaven, and doesn't have grass (it's mostly concrete, soft mulch, and pine straw), it's still enough room for dogs to run and play. There's a little tunnel/obstacle, a few metal benches to sit on, and a really nice sun shade that will be perfect for summer or rain, and a drinking fountain. Now it's time to get more dogs there! The concession stand was also open today.

They kept the kids busy learning and playing but paid special attention to making sure they drank plenty of water and rested. Taken from the chambleega website: Keswick Park Chamblee's largest park, covering more than 45 acres, with a neighborhood focus. Facilities Include: walking trails (that connect to the Mid city district) dog park a full-size adult softball field tee-ball field soccer field multi-purpose field two tennis court outdoor basketball court Our playground facilities are ADA accessible playgrounds. 3,500 square foot community building Keswick is a true neighborhood park, because we visited the entryway at the park sign and only saw a couple of fields, walking trial and a playground. It wasn't until we continued driving did we see the park expanding and reaching into different corners of the neighborhood. If I lived in the area i'd visit this park daily, and the fact that you can take a trail to the city is kinda awesome. Clean park with lots to do as well as a community building with restrooms makes Keswick Park a neighborhood park hidden to all but those who live here. Pay this hidden gem a visit.

I found this store online when searching for soccer (fútbol) turf shoes for my Little. I ordered a size 13 adult instead of 13c for little kids and requested 2 day shipping since we had an event in a few days at the US Soccer Headquarters & Training Center. When I received the shoes on time I discovered my error. I went online and started a return and I was given the option to mail back for a fee or find a local store to complete the return. I soon discovered there are two stores in the Atlanta, Georgia (Doraville & Marietta) area. As much as I love shopping online, it is nice to touch and try on items until you know fit. When I arrived at the Doraville store almost 3 weeks after I generated the return QR code I did not have any problems. Mr. Oscer was helping someone at the register and had to research something. He greeted me immediately and kindly explained he would be with me in one moment. I was allowed to walk around with the box of shoes I brought from home and at some point chose to just leave them on the counter so I didnt have to hold them. As soon as Oscer was done he processed my return without any problems or complaints. He just needed my QR code and asked for order number. He was professional enough to let me know he was training the employee standing next to him. He asked if I needed help with anything else once the return was completed. While at the store I ended up purchasing some thinner socks that my child won't complain about. Oscar educated me on proper fit for shin guards and found a pair for my son that has more breathable material. I also learned about the World Cup official sticker collection and purchased a book and collector stickers.

I wouldn't bother signing up as a free agent without knowing members of the team/the captain pretty well. Some of the captains they rely on are as rude, dishonest, and incompetent as the league officials. The league will tell you they can move you to a new team if you don't get along or are mistreated by the team you're assigned to, then they will wait too long or end up not bothering/lie and tell you it's too late as apparently this league is too serious. Even if there are games remaining in the regular season. If you like having rainout games not being made up and credits not being offered as stated in the terms and conditions then go ahead and sign up. If you like being told specific rules have been disregarded because of apparent captain votes the league didn't announce go ahead. If you want to be assigned to a field you didn't sign up for with no explanation or apology, then be scheduled to play starting as late as 10pm go ahead. This is a ripoff and inconsiderate. I have been polite and am being treated like crap. Don't bother discussing refunds in any circumstances. They probably wouldn't give one even if they cancelled the season. If the league disbanded they would probably try to give you leftover shirts as a comp instead of your money back.
