There isn't time did mission and you can stay as long as you want. There's activities for just about every interest your child can possibly have, a market place, a salon, trains, jungle gyms, digging, construction, sensory play, a black room, literally everything. The staff keeps it nice and clean, but your expected to clean up after your child as well, of course. There's even a section for kids two and below. The only thing I wasn't really fond of was when we first walked in, the employee was talking to my three year old autistic child, and telling him the rules, which he really doesn't understand, and she was expecting a response back from him. Just because you don't know the nature of younger children, I think it's better to direct rules and everything to parents, so they can direct it to the child.

I had a day to entertain my two year old by myself in Roanoke. This place was perfect! It was in a…read moregreat location, just down the street from our hotel, so we walked. It was a reasonable price. It was the perfect size for her to get through in two hours. She had a blast going from room to room playing in all the different themes. She loved the playground area for climbing and slides. She also loved the little camping area. The Kroger exhibit was quite a hit as well. I loved that she was learning about all the different trades and burning energy at the same time. I also loved the details they put into each station. The news reporting with the live broadcast and microphones were really fun. The working cash register experience at the Kroger experience was awesome. The black light area was a lot of fun too. I think I had as much fun as she did! Definitely recommend for anyone with a toddler and at least two hours to get through it.

I can't believe that this amazing park has never been added to Yelp before. Ridgeview Park (RP) is…read more85-acres full of wonderful amenities. When I climbed out of my van the other day, all I could see was green everywhere. Kids could run around the grassy fields forever and not get bored. The hills were extremely tempting to my youngest son who had to run up them and then roll down. Beautiful trees, lovely flowers, a gorgeous view of the mountains--but the best part was the river. You are able to walk up to the water's edge and play with the rocks. Here are some features: * Amphitheater * Baseball/Softball Diamond * Basketball Court * Soccer Field * Tennis Courts * Trails (there are supposed to be trails in the woods, but I didn't get a chance to check them out) * Playground * Picnic tables and grills * Restrooms * Serenity Garden * Swimming Pool * Fishing in the South River throughout the park (trout, bass, perch, bluegill, and catfish) * Handicap-Accessible Fishing Pier I was here for vacation and I always try to look for parks. I found RP online and it was way better than I ever imagined it would be. In fact, I kind of started to fall in love with it and Waynesboro. My boys and I greatly enjoyed our short time at RP and I highly recommend you visit. I wish RP was closer to my house.

You can stop down at the river and feed the ducks and geese. The kids love it here. My only issue from our most recent visit was the garbage all over the park. All of the trash cans were completely filled and overflowing. Trash around the picnic tables. Yuck. Let's keep our parks beautiful, people!

The hike is straight up. I love a good climb. However, the descent is straight down. The old knees hate that. Overall a fabulous hike that is seriously overcrowded. Well it's a bit more challenging than I expected. Good news is I have tips to help if you have never been. First of all... WARNING! Must be physically fit for approximately 2 hours roundtrip of rough terrain. You can take breaks, a few benches are provided. I needed a lot! There is a parking lot at the beginning of the trail. Overflow is at the Visitors Center across the street. Wear proper footwear, no sandals or tennis shoes. Bring hydration and maybe even a small first aid kit. You will absolutely need to hydrate. Choose a cooler and more importantly DRY day. So the ideal timing is AM and season is Fall. Once at the top use caution and be willing to help others. If you see litter pick it up. I saw a single tissue that disappeared in my pocket. Dogs are welcome and they will love it if fit enough to conquer. They need hydration too! Recommend not going alone. Makes sense to me. However if you must the trail is typically busy. Camera is a must, a camera phone serves two purposes. However there is little to no cell service. Don't count on using your phone. I have AT&T and text only worked. There are Bear warnings for a reason, they are in the area. Most common on the parking area. Do NOT leave food out Finally hikers are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Be willing to converse with others, help if necessary. On my hike we were short of hydration and was provided a bottle of water. You will love the experience. The views are stunning!!!
