She physically restrained my daughter and would not let her come to me, until she talked with me. My daughter was screaming, crying and begging to get to me. I had to yell at Ms. Lorraine to release her. Ever since that incident my daughter was abused. We pulled her from the facility. Mind you this facility touts itself as a place that helps kids with IEPs and behavioral issues. They are not. They are abusive to those children that fall into that category. The only way this business allows you to be on the waiting list is if you pay them a registration fee and first week tuition. I finally heard from another childcare institution that was able to take my child, and when I reached out and let the director know, after multiple emails they stated that they will not return almost $400 that I sent to them just to be on a waiting list. I could understand the registration fee, but the week of tuition should have been returned. I will never recommend a place that won't return someone's hard earned money, especially during a time like this.

This is not professional. I was so worried. Come to find out my child made a picture out of the test where you fill in dots on this important test, while almost acing the reading and math, therefore, they assumed his memory wasn't working right. I met with them and said "really? **** aces (98s) in reading and math, but you think his memory isn't working?" I also specifically told them not to give him extra work during school so they could figure this out, but I learned after the year was over that they did in fact give him extra work. I guess they didn't believe me when I told them my ******* thought it was a stupid test so he drew pictures. With that said, however, they do have some really good teachers there, but also some terrible ones too. I suggest you learn which ones are good and make sure your child is in that room. Sorry, I wish I could remember their names, but it's been too long now.

My daughter has been in this daycare for over a year now, and we both love it. She was recently…read moreout for the month of April because of Covid and just went back, and she is honestly thriving there. The school goes to great lengths to keep everyone safe, and they are doing a great job. I think possibly because of the reduced class sizes, or new lesson structures, our daughter is doing better than ever. She is coming home telling us all kinds of stories and making lots of connections to what she learned that day. She loves going to school everyday and usually cries when we pick her up, because she doesn't want to leave. The staff are friendly and good at their jobs, from the directors to teachers. I love getting pictures and updates throughout the day through the tadpole app. I don't know what we'd do if she couldn't go back to daycare, we are very grateful that Goddard is open and working as hard as they can to keep everyone healthy and safe in these crazy times.

They also have great flexibility as I only needed her to be in school 2 - 3 days a week. I feel comfortable that my daughter is in great care when I am at work.
