My sister told me about the store and I was hoping to find some pretty good deals. We walked in and everything was very cluttered and unorganized. I was mainly looking for a sound machine and baby bouncer. Found the bouncer I've been wanting and my husband went to ask the price. It was very expensive for what they were asking for since it seemed very old and dirty. They did however negotiate to a lower price and I did appreciate that. The staff was kind overall. I was just very overwhelmed with so much all around. My sister said at their last location it was much more organized and unfortunately since moving they haven't been. I really wanted to like this store so I'm hoping it does get better so that I can give it another chance. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this store. What a literal treasure trove of clothes, books, and toys for kids! I even found some Korean language books (a necessity in my family) and the staff was kind enough to test out the books with working batteries right in front of me before I purchased. Perhaps the best part though is that they gave me a great discount on all books and toys I was purchasing for the Western Museum of Flight's kid area. It can get expensive buying things as a volunteer and the fact that Kids Double Time was willing to help me offset the cost meant that a lot more children can come and enjoy what's on offer at the plane museum. I let her know when my son was two, to keep an eye out for a race car bed and she was able to acquire one about a month later. My sister been going to this store for 22 years with my mom. When I had my second child in LA. This best place to get baby must haves. Baby swing, crib, baby clothes. Everything looks brand new and good condition. I love this place for the holidays get outfits for my kids,nieces and nephews all year round. I walked out of this store with a bedside sleeper, high chair, foldable playyard, finding Nemo bouncer, Halo sleep monitor, bed rail, travel sleeping pod, handful of baby safety items, a large crib mobile, and a few toys and my total was just over $200. I couldn't believe it, the sleeper alone would have cost more if I purchased it new and all of the items were in near perfect condition. Not to mention the owner helped me, helped me find every single thing on my list, then Tetris everything into my car with me, and watched my little guy while I ran in to pay. What an incredible experience and such a relief to get everything needed and more for what we could have spent on one of those items. read more

BONUS: I was with my mom and on Tuesdays and Thursdays, grandparents get 20% off! AND blue ticket items are 50% off. I love the fact that we are also supporting a local small business. They seem to have alot of things for baby, the customer service was just not good. I called in to ask about a few items I wanted to sell, but the woman who answered doesn't seem to have good customer service skills. When I went in to sell my items, the woman who helped me was so dry, very serious. I have worked in customer service before and I would never treat any of my customers that way. I liked this selection at this store. There is a ton of every type of baby item. We bought a really in-style animal print Baby Gap sweater for my newborn - in almost new condition. Most the clothes are around $4.95 which is great for dresses and outerwear, but not so great for casual stuff which you can usually find new at regular stores for that price. I've been coming here for almost 14 years, my 2 kids hardly ever needed new clothes because we could buy really cute clothes here and bring used clothes, for credit, and buy more with that credit... my son has finally come to a point where he is wearing adult size small, but I still have a daughter who is now 9 and I'm kind of getting sad to think we will only have a few more years until she's wearing adult size clothes too. I'm VERRRRY grateful that we were able to save a ton of money on clothes and wanted to thank the ladies there for many many years of service. I'm sorry about the bad reviews of their attitudes about not taking clothes but some people expect them to take clothes with stains or worn out too much and they aren't going to take that and for a great reason. They want to provide customers with nice clothes, and not have to have crusty worn out clothes unsold, sitting there forever. Please understand they draw a line and they know when they have too many of certain things and will not take yours even if it's in nice condition. They can't stock too much of everything. They take what they think will sell fast and they have enough customers wanting to sell they they can be picky. It's supply and demand and I totally understand this. I love them and will miss them a lot when my daughter graduates from here. If you get to know these ladies they are not mean, they are not making a whole lot of money many customers are like me and trade in without paying any money. They are doing the world a huge favor by making these clothes go around a second to third maybe even fourth time around - recycle recycle recycle until it can't be recycled anymore!!!! We need more places like this where people can exchange for credit, not just kid's clothes but for everything we use. I wish Good Will bad the Salvation Army would do this businesses model. They sell used, vintage, clothings, furnitures. It's like a Goodwill or Salvation Army but just for children and babies. I never shop but stopped by with a friend. They buy stuff from people to resell the items, So this is new to me and I thought it was a good idea. Even if they don't give alot of money for it at least you are getting something back. I went to this amazing kids store today in hopes to find a few reasonably priced Halloween Costumes for my "7" Grandkids. OMG, I seriously hit the lotto! Did some say "HALLOWEEN"? They have MORE Halloween costumes than Party City! The prices were so low I was able to buy something for each one of my Grandkids! I even found a few adult size costumes. I love this store a lot as being a single working mother I really do appreciate this place very much . unlikely other thrift stores this place got kids clothing that are in good condition( trust me, some used clothing shops sell kids clothing that are in horrible condition..) I even often find some nice brand clothing too it's saving me bucks and I'm even able to buy some toys for my boy in fair price. It is with a heavy keypad I write this because over the years they have been perfectly serviceable if I need to buy something, but don't sell anything here because they will lowball you. I've purchased things here that weren't in perfect condition -- stains, tears, etc. but if there's one minor flaw, they'll tell you they can't take it and suggest you can donate it which they said goes to charity which is located on the west side of their door. I have also seen her take things from this very location on the west side of the door to clean them up and sell them. Given this, I'm assuming they are misleading customers into thinking their stuff can't sell, letting them leave it in "chairty" then plucking it up, cleaning it off and then turning around and selling it. It took a while for this to actually register with me, but now that it does, YUCK. So buy all you want, but sell on Ebay or FB or anywhere else. Used car salesmen of baby gear -- no joke. read more

I got very negative attitude from them if I wanted to trade or get store credit on anything so far. They force on donations mostly even if item is perfect. I tired few different times it was always same attitude regardless how small or big the item/s were.
