I started my two youngest boys, 8 months and 4 year old here only 3 weeks ago. My 8 month old had suffered a cold and had breathing treatments that had to be administered. I discussed this with them and they assured me that he would be taken care of. I Brought in the EXACT amount of his medication he would need for 2 days before the Easter holiday. The first day went well and I called to check up. Second day I pick my 8 month old, and I'm told by the caretaker that he had been irritable and fussy and his breathing had become rattled. I asked if his medication was giving and she said yes, and proceeded to tell me the times. When I got home I noticed he had a fever and that he was having a hard time breathing. I immediately called his doctor on call, and I go through the bags to get his nebulizer so i can go ahead and give him another round of his medication. That was when i noticed that the box i left at the daycare (that should have been empty if the medication was used) still had the last 2 vials that should have been used that day. THEY NEVER GAVE MY BABY HIS Medicine. And to make it worse they lied to me saying they did! I had to take my baby to the ER. Since it was Easter weekend i had to wait until Monday to talk with Vicky (the director) and the owner (chanelle) but my husband did call and leave a msg. They returned his call Monday morning and Vicky said that as soon and the owner came in that morning they would call and have a meeting. Finally at 11am they agree to meet us so we could discuss this mishap. The moment my butt hit the chair the owner (chanelle) told us that we were wrong and she had the video to prove that they did my child his medication. She starts going through the video so quickly, fast forwarding rewinding, pausing, muting. I kept asking her to show me the time and parts of that last day and she kept getting angry that I was refusing to agree with her, and wanted to see more of the video. All the while, she she continues to argue because at one point the lights are completely off, but she telling me that that was the moment he was getting his meds. You never see anything, on top of that she mutes the volume. Anyone who has used a nebulizer machine knows that loud annoying sound but she mutes this dark video where you see nothing. At this point I'm still asking questions and she's getting more and more frustrated and accusing me and calling her workers negligent. Mind you. I have not said much but was only asking to see parts of the tape. I ask her to show me, since the video is so dark, the moment someone at the front desk would have handed off the medication to the caretaker since all medicines are kept and the front desk. That's when she starts raising her voice, saying that I'm not going to believe her anyway and she doesn't have to show me anything without a subpoena. Things went downhill from there. I told her fine we could arrange that if need be. But aren't those cameras meant to protect the children? She kept arguing when the video was actually playing and pausing it when we would look at it. Little gameplay to distract us from what she was actually doing, which was lying. Finally I got up and said lets go because this is pointless. And she literally said 'yes get outta my office' like we aren't paying clients and that we weren't having a discussion about the wellbeing of my children at her facility. Completely unprofessional. I lost it from there and had few choice words before I left and also had to call 911 because she refused to give both our children's belongings. IF I COULD RATE THEM NO STARS I WOULD. This place was negligent and I had to rush my child to the ER because of it. This is my first time leaving a review ever on anything and I'm doing it because their negligence. Even the cop had to tell her off because she was being uncooperative. I work in healthcare and my husband works for the Department of Defense and I'm going to let everyone we know what happened with these people. Protect your children. DO NOT take them here! read more

I appreciate the teachers showing a rare ability to offer professionalism in addition to making my children feel happy, safe, and well-rounded. This daycare was recommended by my wife's coworker. Her kids now middle schoolers used to go when they babies. And she said they were great and the owner was always there. That must have been back then because I Removed my children after only 2 weeks. I never once met the owner until that day we had a problem. My child was diagnosed with Bronchiolitis and he need breathing treatments along with steroids. After missing several days of work staying with him I called the daycare to make sure they could give my child his breathing treatments. They said that their workers were qualified and they assured my wife that he would be taken care of. I have to be at work earlier that my wife so pack the bag every morning and made sure to pack only what the daycare needed for 2 days. 4 vials. 2 treatment per day.My wife picked up the kids on the second day and calls me on the way home and tells me to call the doctor because our son was breathing rapidly and had a fever. He had been doing so well once we started his treatment so As soon as she got home I checked the medication box to make sure the treatments were given,and found that they were never used. I called the daycare immediately but had to leave a message because they had already closed. We ended up taking our son to the emergency room. I was beyond angry. My wife even more so. On Monday Vicky calls( the director) apologizing for just getting my message. After letting her know that my child's medication was not administered to him and we had to rush him to the ER. She said she had left early that day and had advised another person at the daycare to make sure my son received his medication. She passed the buck immediately. I asked to speak with the owner (Shanel Riddle) Vicky says that she would call me as soon as the owner gets in. So I asked her when would that be. Vicky Then says that she was not sure when the owner was going to show. Red flag right there. A few HOURS later Shanel calls me, introduces herself and immediately starts defending herself. She claimed she had the video to prove it,so of course I said I would definitely would like to see that video. I know how much medication I packed for my kid so if it's not used...it's not rocket science. My wife and I get there and again she starts to defend herself immediately. She starts playing the video and I had the advantage since I was closest to the screen, of seeing every time she hit mute. First day,all good she shows it to us with no problem. You clearly see the caregiver giving my son his treatment. The you go the the second day. She fast forwards to the time and the room is dark. Care giving is standing holding a baby and nothing else. She claims this is when MY child was getting his treatment. Pitch black, care giver standing in the kitchenette and she pauses it.Then she mutes it. It was so unbelievable it was almost comical. My wife is asking her questions and she's just getting more angry. She wanted us to just give in,and the more questions she had to answer to cover her lies the angrier she got. She says that we must have left more medication in the box than we thought and calls Vicky (the director)in to ask her how much more. Vicky comes in and when she asks her how many vials were in the box, she starts stuttering, then says she's not sure exactly but then says 3. OMG the owners face looks like it's going to explode. Like all the coaching she did earlier to make sure their lie was intact just went out the window. Things go downhill,and the rest of the time she spends fast forwarding, muting rewinding and arguing with us every time we asked her to stop and just show us the VIDEO! She was so reluctant to show us anything. I mean, if it were me, I'd gladly want to show proof. Things just get worse and by then my wife wants to rip her head off. She kicks us out her office and we never get to see my child get his treatment not ONCE that day. She calls 911 and so do we. The police advised us to call state licensing and to get a lawyer. All they had to do was apologize but instead they lied, and the owner was completely unprofessional. We payed them for a service but were treated like we had no right to be upset. I never had an issue with the caregivers. They treated us with respect the entire time. Do your research on this owner and the daycare. This one has plenty of history that I wish I would have seem before I brought my sons here. The owner claimed that she didn't have to show us anything without a subpoena. I highly recommend this daycare. My daughter has been attending for over 6months. Miss Channel is incredible. She goes above and beyond for the kids there. Every staff member knows all children by first name. A few months back as I was dropping my daughter off at school and random stranger walking by. Started to approach myself and my daughter, the guy looked crazy. Started to yell random things at us. I was honestly afraid to take my daughter out of the car, debated on shutting and locking the car doors. Miss. Channel and Miss. Vicky came running out to help me. While Miss. Vicky called the police Miss. Channel put herself in between the guy and myself and daughter so I could get her out and in the building safely. She would put herself in harm's way to protect the little ones. As it should be. When my daughter was having breathing issues due to allergies. They were great on giving her all meds at exact times and making sure she was comfortable. The love and care they give can not be matched. My son attended another daycare right around the corner. And he DID NOT receive the love, care or attention that they give the children at kids college. In my opinion and experience with day cares in Bluffton this is THE BEST hands down. read more

Love this daycare they treat my baby like they're own. Couldn't ask for a better or safer place for my baby boy
