My son receives speech therapy at Kidmunicate in Wayne. His primary SLP is Pam Drennen. He has also seen Jen Gordon and Monica. Each of these therapists is highly qualified with advanced training and certifications. They all communicate and demonstrate therapy techniques and strategies with me so that I can help my son at home between sessions. My son has made SO much progress since starting here, and even better, he looks forward to it because the SLPs make it fun! The office staff is professional, friendly, understanding of schedule changes and goes above and beyond to help with any billing/insurance issues. My son Max loves his sessions at Kidmunicate - he has made huge strides since beginning there about a month ago. All forms of communication have improved and he's always really happy to start his time with Pam. The staff is excellent and well versed with anything you may need help with. read more

Kidmunicate has been wonderful! My 4 year old son has been coming to Kidmunicate for about a year now and he has made so much progress working with Pam. He loves coming to see Ms. Pam and thinks he gets to play with her, he has a great time while learning better speech and communication. They are also great about working with families and their busy schedules. I highly recommend Pam and Kidmunicate to anyone looking for outstanding speech therapy. read more

Pamela Drennen MS CCC-SLP, Clinical Director, brings 25 years of pediatric experience to the clinic. We work with all kids 0 to 14, but specialize in working with children who have down syndrome or autism. Pamela Drennen MS CCC-SLP has been a private practice speech and language pathologist on the Mainline in suburban Philadelphia for 20 years. Over the years, Pam developed a great reputation traveling to clients as an in-home therapist. Pam's business grew every year, soon the traveling limited the time she had to teach kids. To help more kids with speech and language disorders reach their potential, Pam opened Kidmunicate in Wayne, PA, near King of Prussia. Now Kidmunicate has a growing staff of licensed and credentialed speech and language pathologists and 1 behavioral therapist to meet the needs of the many kids with speech and language disorders.

Meet the Business Owner: Pamela D.

Pam Drennen MS CCC-SLP is the VP Director of Clinical Services Speech at Kidmunicate. Pam has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland. She received the Aaron and Lillie Straus grant to work with children with Down Syndrome at the Loyola College Speech and the Language Clinic in Columbia, MD during her graduate studies. Pam is a member of the American Speech and Language Hearing Association. Pam provides evaluation and treatment for a variety of speech/language and communication disorders. She has experience working with children with hearing loss, autism, Down Syndrome, a cleft palate, developmental delays, Apraxia of speech, auditory processing disorders, fluency disorders, oral motor/feeding issues as well as children with augmentative/alternative needs.

My son has been in Theraphy for about 5 months now without incident. His therapist seemed to be nice and my son seemed to like her, which made me happy so I continued to take him consistently every Saturday for a half hour session. Seasons change summer came and we went on vacation for two weeks (my son missed 2 sessions) . They charged me 50$ per session for cancelling. Never warned me prior that there was a 50$ cancellation fee. Who does that?! 50$ is a bit excessive for a cancellation fee. Things happen in life! They discharge my son without warning! We showed up for our sessions and found out that my son was discharged. My son was there ready to see his therapist but was turned away over 50$ . I guess the money they were receiving from my insurance and our co-pay wasn't enough . This place cares more about money than they do about helping children. As far as my son is concerned I didn't see much improvement as far as his speech is concerned but I continued to take him because he took a liking to his therapist. This place is desperate for money and will try to get it from any angle possible. read more

At the early age of 2, I noticed my son was not talking. He is the youngest of 3, and I would often get that his older siblings were speaking for him. That wasn't the case. My son, in fact, had not been hearing and the doctors thought he had been temporarily deaf for approximately 12 months. He was speech delayed. My pediatrician and ENT wanted me to go full force on speech therapy. Enrolling him in both the IU and going private. I came across Kidmunicate. They have been amazing and Jack has progressed leaps and bounds. I couldn't be happier with the therapy, the environment he learns in, and the staff. They are amazing and I would HIGHLY recommend them! read more

Pam Drennan is a wonderful therapist!! She quickly developed a great rapport with my 15 year old daughter. I wish I had known about her sooner! The Kidmunicate staff is so nice and really work with you to schedule appointments easily and handle insurance/payment. I would recommend Pam to anyone with speech therapy needs. read more
